Yeah I can remember at least one other thread dedicated to asking for an F-16. It got merged into the wishlist thread, as I'm sure this one will. :D As much as I would reeeally love an F-16, I think we would have too many modern US planes and not enough Russian or various International ones. EDIT: (Although I guess the F-16 is very International is use, but still I think we need a more diverse field of aircraft first)

Of course I doubt they would run correctly since they are older, but you could probably open the missions in Mission Editor and find where the waypoints are on the map. Then you could check out the locations for yourself if you're interested.

Ahh yes, that should work. Good luck. Also a tip for new people (in case you don't know): unless you really can't wait to get an aircraft, you should always wait for DCS's seasonal sales. They discount everything but the newest modules, and they're older modules are heavily discounted.

Yeah I bet you're right, I guess I'm wondering how quickly ED's progress on multicrew will translate to progress on the Huey and other modules. Too bad BST is usually more quiet about their plans/progress than other devs. Oh well, 1.5 should hold me over for a while :D

Has anybody heard anything from the devs on this? I think they mentioned it a few months ago, but an update or just an affirmation of continued work would be nice.

Welcome to the forums! Well I don't know of any orthodox ways to do what you want... but there is one thing that might work for you. If you know the approximate area (or if you just want to search) you can take the airfield camera - F11 - and "fly" it around the map. It's much more precise and controllable than trying to use one of the aircraft to move around. Choose the closest airfield, (Pressing F11 multiple times cycles through the airfields) then you use the mouse to control the camera and the mousewheel to "drive" it around. PS: There are a bunch of cool "monuments" around the map. I think there is a thread around here that has details and locations for most or all of them. One of my favorites is a Soccer(Football) or maybe Rugby? stadium in one of the big cities. :)

Very nice video :thumbup:. Great mash up of a bunch of different aircraft and good action scenes. Nice music choice, not overbearing or distracting. (Only thing I noticed, was that you had a message icon on the left side of your screen for one of the scenes, but that's just nit picking.) Disregard Good job. I realized that message symbol is from Multiplayer doh!

Sorry this is probably asked and answered, but I don't see it. With DX11, is DCS now optimized for SLI and Crossfire? Previously, it could actually cause worse performance.

First time back to the forums in a few weeks and I happened to watch the video above first thing. The most striking feature was the HDR sunlight. Awesome looking! :thumbup:

I'm sorry to hear the server has become more burdensome to run. I feel bad I haven't been on much at all lately, life stuff got in the way (new job and such). But it's still good news that you'll be running events. I really hope they will be public events that I'm allowed to participate in! :)

So Wags announced an F-5E right? I wasn't able to watch the stream, but Silver_Dragon put it on the roadmap. If it's true, that's super exciting! :)

But looking from a sales perspective, as you are, they'll want the huge boost in sales from the release of 2.0. it's sure to bring back most people who may not be playing DCS lately. And it will allow sales of the new Nevada map! Big Money! :D
