  1. Sounds good to me :) So it sounds like the consensus is they would probably use any cheap and dumb munitions they have that make a big enough boom, nothing specific.
  2. Ok, but don't you think the soviets would use the SU-25 against tanks, as well as their more specialized aircraft, in a full scale 1980's war with the West. I would think they would use everything they had (assuming nuclear deterrent). I'm wondering what they would specifically load for tank killing if they needed to. Also, what were the Soviet anti-tank aircraft of the 1980's?
  3. nice one Ok, let me change the situation a little. Same question but during the 1980's
  4. There might be an ammo change in the future based on this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=143224 so I think that would help.
  5. Thanks guys, that's helpful. So it seems like there are a bunch of weapons that are used. Between the S-8, S-13, S-24, S-25, and FAB-500 which do you think the Russians would use today if a general said "we need you to go out and kill these tanks" (assuming they're modern tanks)?
  6. This has been somewhat talked about in other threads, but I guess I'm looking for a more definitive answer. What is the primary or most common weapon used for engaging heavy tanks with the SU-25A?
  7. Finally! I've been waiting! ;) Good job guys
  8. Very Nice!
  9. There should probably be a separate thread for discussion, but also how many screenshots do you think the devs are going to post? It's funny to think people are expecting screenshots all the time lol.
  10. OK so.... I did a few landings and switched to F2 while I was rolling to see the results. On normal landing it seems that the nose wheel is unlocked at any speed and is controlled by the rudder as usual. I'm not sure if there's a button to lock it or if you're supposed to. To test the differential braking, I blew the tire on the nose wheel and tried turning at high speed. The turning ability was greatly reduced. This makes me believe that in the sim the nose wheel is reponsible for turning on the ground and there is little or no differential braking help. But overall it's sort of hard to tell for sure.
  11. I'll test it out later. I haven't flown it in a long time. I was getting back into it and came in crooked on landing, then realized I couldn't use the brakes to straighten her out. :D
  12. Interesting, that does help. I guess my next question is: is it implemented this way in the sim, where the rudder can be used for differential braking?
  13. This is a feature request. Feel free to move if this is the wrong spot. Does the SU-25T have differential, pedal braking IRL? And if so, can we have that implemented in the sim?
  14. I haven't flown the SU much at all, only a few times. The first time I wanted to mess with the model. I put it into an inverted flat spin and then recovered, then flew it under some bridges on the quick mission. I dont see the big deal, it didn't seem like anything crazy to me. Just a little twitchy. If you're having a lot of trouble, you should just make some joystick curves you like. :music_whistling:
  15. ^^very good idea
  16. You may have the flight stability system disabled. I think it's the 'S' key. Sometimes people mistake the 'S' key for the nosewheel steering since that's the key in the F-15.
  17. SD, you were right to wait. I guess Razbam's back on track now.
  18. Considering already announced projects, I think for the future we could use a Korean War US jet-powered fighter-bomber to complement the Sabre and the Mig-15, such as the F-80 Shooting Star or the F-84 Thunderjet. Then all we would need is the Superfortress and a Korean map, lol. :)
  19. You could change the Razbam projects to "on hold" since the developers announced they are setting aside work to help their ailing father. :( Also, great job keeping this updated SD, it's very helpful.
  20. Very cool! I love to see things showing how much DCS is connected to real life. By the way, I think it's only distorted in the thumbnail. It opened fine.
  21. Good ideas for missions guys, but who would host?
  22. Thanks for the link you sent me slowhand, some interesting combos there. Helping my friend look for parts has peaked my interest in upgrading again, uh oh. :D Also, wow I didn't know that card could run 4 monitors by itself. :shocking: Chief, we can be flexible with price if it's worth it, I'll check it out.
  23. Ultra

    He is comming?

Hmm, is the radar better though?
  24. Thanks for the chart. It's very helpful!
