Hmm i Fly hole MP sessions with 18lb Boost and 3000 RPM nothing happen (ofc you dont need this), the only thing is when your Speeds dropped below 180Mph your Engine is done, ok every one have his one experience after a while... I did littel bit search around why this happen, seem the placement of the Spit Radiator was not that optimal, on low Speeds and High AOA the Cooling Duct sits direct in the Turbulent Boundary Layer Zone with missing Pressure on the Coolant Radiator Face... -
I have also no clue what i have to do to get rid of the Freezes, my Friends doesnt eccounter the same Problems with less RAM and older Graphic Cards. Only my CPU is the slowest to Compare, thats why doesnt understand how could a Memory Leak solve this Problem? The only thing thats helped me so far a littel bit, is give DCS.exe Priority in the Task Manager. Have ED encounter this Problems try to Fix this?

Didn't fly the Ka-50 for long time, but anyone tried to adjust brightness and gain with Skhval cockpit controlls? Possible this have now effect in 2.5?

Me still as well, deleted more then once again my saved Games DCS File, seems to help at beginning but getting worse and worse over Time... Have also the feeling it related to my Track IR... Still had the most Freezes in the 190, can easy replicated this by Flying short dogfight Mission in the Editor on every Map against P-51....

Mean the Flak is not that bad Saburo, was today near Airfield when you not manoeuvre you get heavy Flak around you. Occasionally the ZSU-23 in the Normandy anticipation Mission get managed more then one Time to kill the Friendly P-51 in front of my 109 when they diving to the Airfield. It just happen, the Flak will at least mark enemy Planes near your Airfield visual.

Was recently starting again with the new Map Flying the DLC Campaign The Boarder again. You come across a Night Flying Mission where youre Task is to deliver Spare Parts. Have found me in great Difficult to see anything in the pitch Black Dark Mountains with no reference to the Ground, not to Hit a Mountain or Trees on the Climb out. So far the Night Vision Goggles look now like a bad TV from the 60's in Black and a lot of flimmer. Was only Operating the Cockpit with the red 5,5V Instrument Lightning and NV Goggles, this was a hard Task to find the sweet Spot to able to Read the Instrumenst without Blending to much. After the Taxi/Landing search Light is also buggy, this was also not a great Help. Did i miss something, or is this in real Live different?

Im Grunde nutzt die KI simpleres Flugmodell, kann aber nicht schneller Fliegen oder besser steigen. Sie macht im Gegensatz zu Spieler einfach keine Fehler im Energiemanagement und ihrer Flugweise, was ihr teilweise UFO Flugfähigkeiten zugesprochen wird. Mittlerweile ist die KI nicht mehr so gut wie in den Anfangszeiten von WW2, ED hat da schon teilweise was getan an der KI. Aber sollte vorher mit bedacht immer an die Sache gehen, und überlegen was kann mein Flugzeug besser als der Gegner. Dan klappts mit der KI auch deutlich besser, und im MP werden da euch deutlich härtere Gegener begegnen als die KI. Einzig was die KI besser kann als ihre menschliche Pedanten ist wie angesprochen unendlich G ziehen, und das die KI ohne ende Schaden einstecken kann ohne Auswirkungen auf das FM. Edit: Das nicht jeder meint nur heiße Luft was der da erzählt, fall's sich jemand dafür Intressiert war ein Versuch für eine Standard Taktik gegen Spit KI Exellent

Was looking sometime ago a quiet Intressting Doku about this stuff, and the NVA Tatics was not that bad at all... They send MIG-17/19 to attack the Strike Package heavy loaded F-105, when the F-4 Phantoms come for help they zoom in with the MIG-21 firing the Atoll Missiles and leave fast the Battle what the older MIgs cant do... They try most of the time only hit and run Tactics to prevent longer Fights with superior Numbers of US/USN Aircrafts.

MIG-19 was the First supersonic Jet in the Soviet Inventroy, with all moving tail and not suffer from the instability at high Mach Numbers from the MIG-15/17 Designs... We need a Vietnam Map :D

Come on, not again this Topic discussed no endless Time again and again... The Majority of the Luftwaffe was bad build 109's with less experienced Pilots about overwhelming Allied Airforce Power at end War Stages there is no doubt... But still a game, how want to Fight in Multiplayer with crappy G6 a P-51 that climbs twice as fast can Fly Circles around you... That current FW-190D9 ingame have a hart Time to fight P-51 with it superior Handlings Charactirstics... I love to fly the P-51 because of its good Handling overall... You can never satisfied all People here, and we should go overall for 190A8 and G6AS as make the Mustang even faster compare to the Spit, and all other Planes suffer to catch a P-51 in game. And dont make exotic Planes like realy rare P-47M who propably suffer more reliability Problems then the crappy 109s to the end of the War...

Nice Video... This looks nearly like a old Train Simulator from around mid 2000, but nerveless impressive good for Flight Simulation. The Tunnels might be Dangerous for Passengers :D -
So far I read and can tell the Shark Antenna over the Gunner Canopy Frame is the SRO-1P Parol IFF Transponder. And the late MI-24P in the 80's get the SPO-15, visual by the round Housings behind the Cockpit. Picture labelled NVA MI-24P, NVA is long time History But we will see what version we get from Belsimtek, properly the Soviets how decided witch MI-24 get the SPO-15 in the ex Warsaw Pact Forces.

Ctrl+Z you can switch the Bar between IAS+TAS and different Opitions in the F2 View.

So fare can tell from the Sources don't how far they are correct, with introduce of the MI-24D on the right Side under the Belly they mount a FLIR and a low Light TV Camera. Where such things displayed in a MI-24? Directly in to the Missile aiming View? Meantime there is no Monitor in the Cockpit.

But this Fighting the Symptoms not actual the Problem, don't want to change to different FOV because I like it in the Stock Configuration, at least there should be DCS running without struggle...

And is still there, was jumping for Quick Flight in the Dora where can also pretty fast reproduce the Freeze on Normandy Map. Can't still provide any crash Log, because DCS Task is still Running... PS: can not change any FOV Settings do Integrity Check increasing pre Rendered Frames doesn't help for me at least. So now?

Most distinctive Difference from the look Top down is the Wing Shape, small shaped Wings with round wing Tips 109. P-51 have more study Wing with square Wing Tips. Even more pronouncing is when you get closer is the Paint job, P-51 are in the most case more colourful (Yellow nose, White Stripes) But after Years sometimes even my Wing Mates try to shoot me down in my lovely 190 or scare me when I try to find desperately the ghost Mustang behind me in a wild Fight ...

Munitionsanzeige der 109 musst du vor dem Start selber einstellen, Sie sagt dir auch nicht tatsächlich was du wirklich noch in den Ammo Boxen hast sondern ist nur gekoppelt mit dem Verschluss deiner MG's. Das die Anzeige in der 190 schon aufgedreht ist hat ist einfach ein Design das von ED anderst umgesetzt worden ist, geht aber nach dem selben Prinzip.

Ich flieg ab und zu mal Gazelle im MP mit der A10 zusammen, aus meiner Erfahrung würde ich die Finger von Kurven im Achsenprofil lassen, weil die Gazelle eh nur minimale Stick ausschläge zulässt, und noch stärker überreagiert bei zu viel Kurve im Profil. Sättigung runterdrehen ist da viel angenehmer, also sprich dein Input am Joystick wird langsamer aber linear im Game umgesetzt. Allerdings würde ich die Gazelle ohne FFB auch nicht Fliegen wollen, aber fällt wieder unter die Rubrik Ansichtssache Einziger Nachteil für mich an der Gazelle ist, für DCS verhältnisse komplett Unterbewaffnet.
