You can land it gently, but from my experience it takes a bit more effort to flare it properly. The trailing gear actually should make landings softer.

It doesn't crash for me but it turns into a slideshow... 72 B-17s dropping bombs is a bit much if you care about balanced performance in any way...

Pilots are taught to not rotate their head around during maneuvers, so the head should stay exactly as it is and not stabilize in Relation to the outside horizon. Of course people do this from time to time and especially when they are activly looking outside the aircraft but most of the time, at least during normal, non-intensive maneuvers, they will not stabilise their head in regards to the horizon. Tilting the head during maneuvers in real can cause things that are not possible to experience in a simulator. Overall you will find plenty of videos online where pilots will tilt and rotate their heads when they look outside, but will remain mostly straight when they do normal maneuvers. Both versions are around and there is no definitive answer to which behaviour is correct.

With hitches do you mean screen tearing? Because that happens if the software doesn't run on the same FPS as the Hz on your Monitor, in which case you should enable V/G/Free-Sync.

More infos. What settings? What are your specs? Mods? Ran a repair? Cleared metashaders? Using Reshade? NVidia/AMD/System settings? Any Info other than "I have the same issue" will help.

Mods? Faulty install? Wrong country? What kind of random numbers is it using? Which airfield/map? What callsign? So many questions, so little info.

There should not be any misalignement. Remove all mods, run a repair and try again. If the issue persists, upload a short track. The amount of infos provided by you are not enough to determine where the issue is.

Is there no readme or description where you downloaded the skin from? If not, there are two options. Either drop it in the saved games directory under liveries or you can put it directly into the dcs installation directory under coremode/f16/liveries or something like that.

Normally, if squelch is turned on, you shouldn't hear any static noise. Turn squelch off and you should hear the static noise.

When you set up your authenticator app on your phone, it first requires you to scan a qr code from the website where you are trying to configure 2FA for. So in the DCS Website, configure 2FA and a QR code should show up. Scan that with your phone and then it should be set up (or follow whatever remaining steps there are). After you are done, the Authenticator app will generate 6 digit codes every 30 seconds. If you want to log in into the DCS account on the website, it will ask you for a code. Simply open up the app and enter the code shown on your phone and that's it.

The groups of 4 planes do work fine that have a waypoint. The others that do the 180 turn do it because you didn't give them a waypoint, and by default every aircraft is set up with a heading of 360. What you need to do to fix that is simply give them a waypoint into the direction of the first group. The advanced waypoint actions you gave them is not enough. It has to be a normal waypoint to give them the proper heading. So do not confuse the advanced waypoint actions for a waypoint with a waypoint itself. Those are two different things.

Normandy is the only one worth it. And if you want to play multiplayer or in a somewhat decent WWII scenario, the assets pack is a must. However, be advised that ED doesn't really show any love to the WWII stuff as of late (we received gear physics update and a new FW-190A8 cockpit model this year while ancient issues remain unsolved for years). So as of now, as you can see by the amount of online WWII players, it is not really worth to buy anything just yet. You might be simply better of by the other products on the market depending on what you seek for.

A waypoint will always place the Initial direction for a flight. If the formation doesn't follow, try to re-setup the formation. Otherwise upload your mission or example here.
