  5. Yes I should put it in my sig someday. Busy flying :joystick: I have an I7 6850k at 4.3 hz hyperthreading disabled, GTX1070, 16 mb ram. I have stripped windows with everything I do not need (2 day job that one). My pc is showing it age so that’s why I am quit content with 45 FPS. I am using Kegeyts shader mod. Gives me an increase of 15 FPS on average at the cost of MP. Switch it out when flying with friends and downgrading the graphic options.
  6. Hmm indeed. I got a list as long as my arm with ‘easy’ to fix bugs. My bugs are more in need for a hot fix! If you go through this forum you find all kinds of issues that somebody finds the most importetant bug and in need of an immediate fix. There are still bugs that exist since the Lomac days (AI issues).
  7. Hope I understand you correctly or else this is going to be a very interesting conversation :P When I spawn in it is around 14:28. So starting up the Hornet is finished at around 14:35. The first time I started rolling immediatly and my wingman remained stationary. The carrier crew did not hook me up. They just stood there admiring my Hornet. I was the second flight and the briefing said that a fourship of Hornets would take off before me. So I figured I went to soon. Second try I waited until take off time, if memory serves I started rolling at 14:44:14. The four ship took off before that. When I gunned my engines my wingman called ‘2, rollin’ and off we went. Got shot down in a most shameful manner :music_whistling: so I wanted to fly again. That time I started up and started rolling to the catepults at 14:45 so a bit later then briefed. My wingman remained once more stationairy and the launch crew where locked in deep thought and oblivious to the rest of the world. So no, I could not take off whenever I wanted. So this let to my assumption that there is limited time window for take off as I posted. I do believe that I drove far enough ahead from the sixpack the first time nothing happened. I drove forward turned right behind catapult 2 then forward and right turn to catapult 1. The second time when I did take off I had not moved at all when my wingman started rolling. The third time I definitely did not drive far forward out off the sixpack. I will try this tonight and report. Your reaction does seem to indicate that is not a feature of DCE anyway. So probably human error.:hmm:.
  8. Well I give it a go once more. I have the Index and reprojection is called Motion smoothing and ASW for Oculus. In previous attempts with Motion smoothing I had warping/ghosting of the wingtips in the cockpit and flybys (F3) where terrible with planes bending out of shape or ghosting at the nose, wings and tails. It is true that my FPS does wobble up and down all the time but I do not notice this in flight.
  9. Hi PBO_CEF or Migel21, I have an issue with TF71 hornet. I was wondering what exactly the time window is for taking off from the Supercarrier? I have a mission with a take off time of 14:44 h. If I start moving at 14:43 my wingman stays put and the carrier crew decide to take the day off as well. Had the same thing with trying to take off at 14:45 h. Is the take off window limited to the 59 seconds between 14:44:00 and 14:44:59?
  10. And shut down reprojection. It causes the ghosts. I have it off and get (at 45fps) only ghosting when another plane passes me to the sides. I never use it in any flightsim, only in driving games or FPS.
  11. Well I managed a setup I find more or less playable and the later patches provided some improvements. The performance is still no where near the performance of the latest 2.5.5 version. Because of the Supercarrier I tolerate the present limitations in performance and that is the best I can say about it.
  12. Me too. Maybe OP your joystick is giving inputs? That would prevent the autopilot from engaging.

  15. Also in VR each eye shows different location of the visor in external view. Using Index and SteamVR.

  17. Hello PBO_CeF, I am trying to play the Mirage over PG campaign version 20.38 but I am having a problem when generating the first mission. I cannot get a mission generated and it gives the error 'Not enough ready aircraft for all clients'. I let it run and eventually it gave me a mission. However the only mission I got was a Night mission to escort a strike to an EWR site. None other. Oh it is in single player. When I modified it to only day missions I got no missions at all. After 20 attempts the bat-file stopped. Resetting it back to day and night missions gave the same results as the first try. Oh after the first missions was generated the DOS-box also started showing the take off times for flights of the carriers. Any help/fix apprectiated. These DCE-campaings are making DCS worth while. Update: loaded the TF71 Hornet supercarrier campaign and that works just fine.
  18. Performance for me is still short of version 2.5.5. The latest patch makes it run smoother which makes 30 FPS in cockpit bearable (as reported by DCS). My PC is starting to show it age though. I7 6850K, 3.6 OC’ed to 4.3, 16 mb Ram and 1070 video card. Using Index for VR.
  19. That is why I immediatly order my wingmen to shut their radars off. That only leaves the mud calls.
  20. +1 I think it resultaten in a loss because the carrier was lost at see. Mirage campaign.
  21. The AI Viggen's always had their main gears of the ground since launch of the module. The plane is perfectly horizontal compared to the ground while it should be with a slight nose up altitude. Front wheel not touching is new though.
  22. Let’s not! A bad idea remains a bad idea no matter how often you repeat it. I am quit willing to pay more for modules but.... First I would need a good base to work from. As soon as DCS World works as it should and with that I mean a descent AI that flys credibly and uses believable tactics and a decent performance that doesn’t go up and down every few patches. Oh and last but most certainly not least a good SP experience (dynamic campaign/mission system). Then I am game. The only modules I paid full price for are Heatblur’s. Excellent modules with no major bugs or issues. And the issues they do have are more the result of ED then HB’s. As it is right now I fly it more like I do X-plane. Or I play Mbot’s highly impressive DCE campaigns. That message finally seems to have come across now so I am hopefull. I do not need to have it all right this minute I just need to know that it is being worked on.
  23. Mayby those keys are used by trackir for recenter and such? Trackir claims sole right to the keys it uses.
  24. Viggen strikes not going to plan Hello guys, I am currently playing Mirage over Persian Gulf. I noticed that the anti-ship attacks by the F7 Viggen squadron are suffering rather bad attrition. In the last mission I followed a Viggen strike. First the lead Viggen fired off one RB15 but he didn't break off but continued to follow the missile in. He was flying right above that RB15 atthe same speed. The missile impacted destroying the ship but the Viggen blew up as well because he was flying right above the impact point. Number two Viggen flew past the first convoy and attacked a Molnya flotilla sailing behind the convoy. It to followed it's missile in but this time the missile flew faster. As soon as the missile struck the Viggen broke off and proceeded to attack the original convoy. Again following the missile in and this time also it broke off as soon as the missile impacted. It did crash as well cause unknown but not due to enemy action. I checked the debrief screen. I have no track available. Have that function disabled for performance reasons. Maybe you guys can do something about it. Although I am assuming the wonderful DCS AI at work. RedeyeStorm
  25. In DCS you never know for sure what the problem is. I suspect only helps with loading speed and not so much during play. Fly from HD now used SSD before never noticed a difference during play.
