  1. I see that you are new here. One thing to keep in mind on the ED forums is to use the search function and to read everything in the newsletters and the moderators answers to questions before posting your own or going off on a rant. From the same newsletter you quoted above: DCS: Normandy 2 will be available as a complete map for $59.99 USD. If you have either DCS: Normandy 1944 or DCS: The Channel maps, you can purchase Normandy 2 for $14.99 USD. If you own both, you can purchase DCS: Normandy 2 for only $9.99 USD. Hope you enjoy the new Normandy map as much as I will.
  2. I would welcome London because of the airfields that surround it, such as Biggin Hill, Kenley, Croydon, Horchurch, Debden etc.
  3. This problem was solved by removing the Radio line from the camp_init.lua, it was not obvious from tracing the error or debugging.

  5. Yes, that section is in the conf_mod.lua file already, I had already placed the conf_mod_check.lua file you uploaded above, and placed it in DCS.openbeta\Mods\tech\DCE\ScriptsMod.NG.
  6. @Miguel21 Thanks but this did not work. To be certain I installed from the User Files a new copy of WWII Channel Spitfire. It appears to be more broken than all the other missions. Skip mission will work but I get a firs mission again. Silver Dragon, as always thanks for keeping track of the facts and the work you do updating your unofficial Roadmap since ED is reluctant to publish one, someone needs to keep their feet to the fire. The Channel map is a bit of a mix, it is not representative of the BoB but England is a mix of modern and 1944. The concrete strip at RAF Manston was operational for returning damaged bombers in 1944, RAF Headcorn and RAF High Halden were both built in the spring of 1944 and operated from April to September (?) only. France looks like a mix of 1940 and the late 1950's It already overlaps 90% with the Normandy map and I can't imagine that the Normandy expansion won't add detail and airfields in that area. Maybe the Channel will expand North into bomber country and East to the Ruhr valley and give us a theater for the B-17, Mustang and K4. There is a list of planned confirmed additional assets on the forums that was updated once or twice, it has not however been cancelled. I can't be bothered to find it at the moment but it included a B-24, B-26, B-25, Lancaster, Typhoon I, Fw-190F-8, Bf-190G-6 AI assets as future additions. I think all of the ground assets that were on it have been added already.

  14. Trial the Channel map and see what you think. I was very excited when it was announced and concerned about the future of the Normandy map. Now the reverse is true; an announced increase in the detail area of Normandy and a lack of a roadmap for the Channel. When ED contracted UGRA to make the Normandy map, England was not even going to be on it. After much outcry from the forums,ED realized that bases in England were necessary for the map and they agreed to have the mP expand to include them but limited detail in England. UGRA has released two major updates to the map so far with the addition of London and Paris announced. Between updates they released two expansions to the excellent Syria map and I hope with London we will get a level of detail in England that at least matches the Channel map and the same for the addition of Paris for France. The Channel map already has had its final release according to ED newsletters. In England tt has the best grass airfields in DCS by far and the suspension of disbelief is easy to achieve. France on the other hand needs work. With no roadmap for the future of the map I am a at a loss , it is after all just the top right corner of the Normandy map with detail, once Normandy expands details into that area what will be it's purpose? I am hopeful that it will be expanded to include all of the area covered by Normandy and to thee north and east, but set in a historically accurate 1940 for a future BoB scenario and aircraft set. Currently I love flying on the Channel but get 10x more use from Normandy. YMMV

  16. I'm certain that it generated a new mission, it is when you end the mission that the problem manifests itself. WWII Normandy Spitfire_ongoing.miz
  17. As a control, I ran Falcon in PG all ran well except when I was given an intercept mission, that came up with this error. I opened the ongoing mission in the editor and changed it and all was well. every intercept mission after was fine.
  18. Bad news. First mission will work fine, ends and generates a second. The second mission can be flown but does not end and generate the next mission. No report is generated for the mission and the CMD window does not open. Updated the scripts mod, tried both NG and 20.38.01 same result.
