I DID A SEARCH USING THE TITLE LINE PASTED AND NOTHING COMES UP. The takeoff from the runway keeps asking me for the Fa/18 mod and I do not think I will have it available for awhile and I was wondering what the fix is for this ????? Thank You for any help Mike

I am sorry that I now know I should have posted this in the crash section. I read other peoples same problem and I followed one of the suggestions that go to saved games and delete the open alpha and so far it seems to be working. ESAC, I appreciate Your help very much but have no idea what redistributables are nor how to check for DX files except to go to MS and download them. I included my dxdiag and my asus sound card has something written But at least it seems to be working and not crashing after I deleted the Saved game files for open alpha DxDiag.txt

360 kbs is the fastest I can download and I was having a problem like this before I installed new nvidia drivers. I hope someone can help me as this is sad and I have waited 3 days just to use DCS while downloading open alpha, Normandy and NTTR and the AV8b and FW190 Does not seem to matter if I OC on my gpu's or not. So even though this is the first time I tried to use dcs it did a dcs.log and a dcs.log.old which I copied and pasted at the bottom dcs.txt Thanks for any help, this is just so frustrating

help with DSL or do I need a new modem I am way out in the sticks and I have never gotten anything to D/L faster then 360 kbps. Frontier site that allows me to port forward and see my connection says I am at 3800 kbps and it just took me a day to download DCS open Alpha and now two days to get 2 jets and Normandy and NTTR. The Netgear D2200D dsl modem is what they gave me, would buying a different modem do anything to help my speeds ? Thanks for any help

Seems like turning 62 really messed up my ability to hook up stereo and many other things now. Took me forever to get it to work so long ago but I finally did, but now I am not even going to bother again until all 3 are in 2.5 and that should happen very soon. AV8b is Awesome and so are the new graphics

I sure have had my problems with lightning strike ruining a MB and 240gb ssd and having the new MB give me grief but I am now close to having 2.5 be released and now will only have ONE version of DCSW and not 3. I have not been able to connect to my favorite dcs site in a LONG time, seems like 2 years now. Still cant land a 190 without ruining a wheel or something, but at least I do not die. AV8b is awesome and so are the new grafics !!!

I am going to post My Log file, and I hope someone can give me some advice. I have standard/open beta/open alpha and they all pause but sound keeps running and it can sometimes just stay like that forever, but other times it does stop running and shuts down. Thanks dcs.log-20171211-050435.zip

I ordered My Hotas with free pedals and Newegg sent it to the wrong State. I believe TM uses the date You purchased it for the 2 year warranty. Took it a few days to be sent to the correct address, and when I received it, the throttle did not work at all. TM sent me a new board and I installed it and it worked ok ( so I thought ). I was only flying tail draggers and did not use a lot of buttons. Even with the new board, the right side of the throttle never worked, but I always thought it was a DCS software problem and not hardware. As time went by, I started buying jets and needed more buttons and decided that I needed to have the throttle fixed the right way. I notified TM and they said I was 4 days past the warranty period and would have to purchase the board outright, but that the video I made on youtube and sent to them showed that it may not be the board so I should send it in. I am now using my old Saitek X35T to play DCS so at least I have a working throttle ((( TM one only worked at the very top near afterburner setting and could only be turned on and off if You moved it too much))). I wonder if the person I emailed at TM was the sole person to make the decision that I was 4 days over? I was helping My son move and was busy with life for a few days, and I felt very badly that TM made the decision not to honer my warranty as it took more then 4 days for me to receive the broken hotas and more then 4 days to receive the replacement board.

Could someone please explain to me how to get into a tank using normandy terrain. I have assets pack installed and combined arms, but I do not see any training or even a way to use any of the things I purchased, and its been months sense I purchased this and doing a search for combined arms brings up everything under the Sun except how to use tanks. I figure mission editor is the only way ? Thanks someone.....

"An Error occured while receiving data, try again later" is all I get, and Special offers/Modules/Available DLC/Installed buttons do nothing. I have repaired many times and just updated a few mins ago (Nov 2nd). Its a new install on a new hard drive, I am lost.... Open Beta works great, on another Hard Drive. I want to set up My PC with just one large HD setup just for DCSW. Right now I have 5 hard drives and things are setup all over. Maintenance is not My eminency, as I spend a lot of time fixing up the house I bought. Flying in DCS is something I love and spent a lot of money on, and I doubt I know how to do 20% of what is actually available to me. I am way out in the country and internet speeds are under 400Kbs a second. Takes 27 hours just to download Open Alpha without a terrain.

I am running three screens at 5954 x 1080 ( 60 hz ) and now I cant change the resolution in either Nvidia Control Panel nor DCS as I cannot see below the Mission Generator command and cannot apply most things. Thank You for any help with this, I appreciate knowing what to do as restarting PC nor repair DCS has worked.

I have done updates but when I try to go to Normandy, there is no assets pack Single or multi player missions to do. I thought I had read that only in mission editor could You get the CA to work, but I cannot get Normandy WWII assets pack to ever work no matter if I do a repair and I know Im running the latest version. I hope the new Normandy upgrades will help as I have never been able to fly without DCS (Not responding) crashing. Nevada has no problems. I would appreciate knowing if I should be able to use mission editor or something and get to use a tank in WWII Assets Pack ? I did get to try and catch up with a ton of bombers in My Dora when I downloaded a mission from the Users download area and it was awesome before it crashed !!!

Instant action does not work and they released it like this ? I was able to go into mission editor and finally got Normandy to work, but it crashed before I could fly My Dora to Dover to see the White Cliffs that Ive heard is not there.... Lightning burned out a hard driver a GPU and my ethernet on the MB, but through WIFI I was finally able to install Normandy and Nevada and a few planes in only 28 hours.

First time I use the new terrain, I am taking a UH1 across the channel and fly low and slow beneath the White Cliffs of Dover.

I have DCS working ok now, and I know I really screwed the pooch by doing the insiders program. You would not believe the problems this has caused me. Why would I buy a win 10 pro program when I bought win 8.1 pro and microsoft upgraded me to win 10 pro for free ? The final version of win 10 will be released soon and I will just end up doing a clean install.

I download at 370 kb/s and the NTTR takes me more then 24 hours to get. Then all of the planes too..... Can someone please tell me about using Torrent vs HTTP as I am using win 10 insider program, and it changes all the time and I seem to lose many things I have to reinstall over and over. I was thinking if a download had a version of 2.015 that I actually had saved to my PC, I could install that and then just do an update and the DL would not be so large and take so long. Thank You very much for any help with this, I appreciate it very much.

When I start up myself, I may not do everything that may be needed with radiator or some other things, but if You use the left win home, it does everything for You. I do not turn on WEP before going full throttle, but this stopping of electrical or motor happens even when I throttle back to half. It does not happen at all in Nevada Testing Range either ! Thank You all for some hints and tips !!!
