This is such an exciting time as I have been using SLI 680 4 gigs now for the past 5 years and I purchased a Evga 1080Ti FTW3 DT and am using three monitors in 5860 x 1080 mode for DCS. I guess DCS being Direct X 11 is really slowing down many systems but I felt it is the best flight sim and I invested a lot of money into building a nice system 5 years ago and now its time to upgrade My GPU. As I have 87 more days to participate in the "Step Up" program, I just had to at least purchase what I could when the mining overwrought MSDS prices came down. I want to purchase a Vive soon to use with DCS and cant help but wonder if I should not just sell My two 680 cards with waterblocks attached and make up the difference in price of the 2080Ti ?????

I never did see an answer to this and I have LOTS of large and small and medium ( what else is there ?) as I was an electrician for 35 years. I went to lowes and replaced the bottom 4 springs with compression springs but others on a Frontier site for elite dangerous mentioned a set of springs that are not compression and I don't see how they can work.

I use My joystick on my desk, to put less then 5 inches on, I cant use it on floor. I know I can buy several extensions and join them, but now the cost goes way up. I was thinking about doing something with the main spring using tyraps or something.... Flying the Huey is not fun with the stiffness that the joystick has.

I have 32 bucks in bonus points, and was going to see if I could buy the Mirage but it did not allow for any bonus points at all. I know its 50% off but can You only use bonus points when no sale is available ????

I would like to sit farther back in all planes in DCS, which one for default view (13) would I need to change ? Thanks

6 1/2 years and no other thoughts on this ? the P40 does not interest me unless I am reading about George Welsh, but the Corsair F4U is a personal favorite. F4 Phantom too !

SLI GTX 680 4 gig I went into saved game file and deleted the options.lua file and DCS started working again. Oh well, time to set up my controls and thanks for the help !!

Group Shared Memory of 46080 exceeds the limit of 32768. I have 32 gigs but is it virtual memory or what ? I took a screen capture of the message I get and it says retry or cancel and retry never works. Please see attachment to see message I get every time I start up

I am going nuts with the Maverick. I cant get rid of the four diagonal lines on HUD and I know I have 4 mavericks on My rails. I am including my last TRK file as I finally got the AGM to appear on the place its suppose to and I Cage/uncage does nothing. I have watched many videos and the new tutorial by Chuck Owl and am going nuts !!!! So many hours trying to get one to fire. Also I cannot get my harrier controls to ever stay saved and have to set them up every time. The trk file seems to be a gif, so no joy might be over 5 megs, I dont know no Maverick.trk

hitting OK does not save the controls for Me I have to re do ALL my controls every time I play. When I save the warthog joystick, I can then load the joystick and its fine. But every time I turn DCS on, both the Throttle and pedals are loaded with stuff I do not want. So after reading this, I guess I have to save each one, one at a time as setting everything up and then clicking save does not save the pedals or throttle. I am mostly flying the harrier and just wish I could figure this out. I have not tried going into any saved game area and looking for lua files so any help would be much appreciated.

New Egg sent me a throttle that did not work right from the get go. I liked the joystick and did not want to send the hotas back to new egg so TM sent me the green card. I installed it and most buttons worked for Dora, but later on when I got into jets, I needed more buttons and then found out that the entire right side of the upper throttle did nothing. TM said I was 4 days late after my warranty and I have to pay 60 bucks to have them look at it plus shipping. The throttle also started to only work from 90-100 % thrust and so I started using my 20 year old Saitek X35T. TM really sucked that I was 4 days late when it was broken when I got it and it took more then 4 days to get the green card to even be able to use it when I first received it.

Before 2.5 all three versions crashed so much I was really going nuts. Now with 2.5 I can sometimes play for a half hour or more, and no crash, just total freeze with sound playing. Skatezillas gui program has been a Godsend and really improved realiability of the game not crashing after startup ( old three versions), and I am thankful He made it. ED has done a great job, and I thank them for all the hard work.

I am very excited and looking forward to playing the new 2.5 and having everything all in one area. I do not know if it will help with any of my crashing problems, but I can only hope. I started to think that my old 4 gig 680 gpus were causing all of my problems and that if I bought a 1080ti that it may solve whatever driver issue I have, but try and find a 1080ti right now for the normal price of 699 I know one thing for sure, if I could get my hands on a 1080ti, within one month they would come out with a 2080ti that would have a 130% better performance ratio and I would be going nuts. EVGA used to have a upgrade policy, but I have not bought a new gpu in 4 years as I have not needed one. Time will tell !! Thank You so much for the update on how the upgrade to 2.5 will happen.

I have also had this happen over and over again for months now. I can at least use open alpha for awhile before it happens and I hope and pray that when 2.5 is released and everything is put in one place and I can erase the other three versions that not only will I get back an entire 120 gig hard drive, I hope things will get better and not worse. Flight Sims have been a large part of me spending thousands of dollars building my water cooled pc and DCSW is the best flight sim in the WORLD as far as I am concerned and I look forward to the big update !!! dcslog.txt

Besides, the AV8b is My most favorite jet in DCSW !!!
