Sense the F14 came out, I get nothing but one meg per second so the Persian Gulf update took me 15 hours to download. I wonder if DCS is throttling speeds or what ? I cant believe only a few people are having this problem, as March 28th was the last time I wrote and its still happening to me on all downloads as of April 16th 2019.

I cannot get right alt and J to switch planes anymore. I tried to do a search and it says too many common words: Alt and J So this is the closest page I can find.

I have downloaded Open Beta to three different hard drives and tried to copy all of the planes and jets and terrains. My resourse monitor says Im getting 8 megs per second but DCS is below 1 meg per second. I will leave PC on for days trying to DL terrain and planes and it will get to 89 percent and crash. I erased everything DCS on My C drive and am re-installing now.

When I do finally get the message to download the F-14, it gives me a message: Unknown Heatblur Module

three times I have downloaded 3,499.8 megs for the update and then it does a 1,o33.8 meg download and then a 99.6 meg repair for a FXO.zip file or something. I finally get to where it asks me to dl the F14 and it says unknown heatblur Module.

twice now its updated and repaired and it says there are many files not needed (Alpha) ? I guess I can just delete the alpha now anyway. When I am done, its still now Build 2.5.4.28461

Thank You BitMaster ! I was able to at least get the beta working. I erased the FXO. Metashaders, and My option.lua and it worked ! Thank You so much for Your help !!!! I don't know what this CURL stuff is, but DCS is working and I can just worry about things like finding out what gamma is best and what ARMBENDING is and should I use it.

My internet goes out every day for the past week, all night and when I wake up internet is back on. I just received a new 20180Ti and I can not use DCS offline as the error prevents me from doing so. I did a clean and a repair of both the release version and beta. I was able to use My CV1 offline for dcs, and the little I saw was nice. DXDIAG says My DX12 is fine with no problems. PS My 2282 came with nothing. Cant even find a demo to use new features. EVGA sure has gotten cheap... 1150 for a gpu that didn't even have directions or any cables or adapters. The C port is useless I guess, unless You buy a adapter ? Thank You for any help with this, I do not know why repair or clean would not fix this

I had tried to get through the crane structures near the piers from south to North and made it as far as the very last rectangle. I had just purchased a OR CV1 and its like I need to learn how to } fly all over again. This was My very first attempt in VR and I made it. I have gone back and tried again and am not so lucky and its very frustrating. Roki Tunnel is a lost cause and the one in PG through the mountain via RR tracks. Cant land the Dora fer beans, but DCS is so Awesome !

Yak52 and PG Pier challenge I tried flying through again, but its very hard. Then I saw a vid of a guy going through the Roki Tunnel and I cant get past the first bend. I cannot press F10 and get anything but the map. In the video it mentions hitting F10 and then OTHER to get a Jtac (F1) to give You info on where to go to use bombs ? At least I can fire the Maverick and hit a tank but would like to use the same GBU12 and Mav setup You used. Thanks for any help. Mike

If I place the M2 card in the M2 slot, She works but My 4 and/or 5 sata slot does not work. No matter which slot I put the Lycom DT120 in, the EVO does not appear anywhere. Right now I put the EVO back in the M2 slot and at least can use DCS as The 500 SSD was not enough space with the F14 coming soon. I would appreciate any help with fixing this problem or at least knowing it cant be done and I can return the evo and lycom and buy a normal SSD from Samsung. http://www.lycom.com.tw/DT-120.htm part that may not work I bought a M2 slot Samsung EVO 1tb card and it disables slot 4 or 5 or only allows single use.... but I could not get it to work at first and then I just put my 2 year old Win10 Pro dvd and installed directly to the 860 EVO SSD and it worked. I then found many of My other 6 hard drives were not working. I recently purchased a Lycom DT-120M.2 card and put the EVO into it and tried installing into the bottom and third slot up. Nothing is working. I put the EVO back into the M2 slot and finally have my PC to at least use to get info. I spent hours trying to find out how To map a key to the headset + that allows you to click on what the headset Cross sees. I am flying in DCS world And the mouse is too hard to get to. So The headset cross lights up a item, but I can't click on item. also can I change the position of that cross to only show up when I look down at cockpit dials and switches ? Thank You for any help. ****************** UPDATE ****************** woke up this morning and the update for win 10 did the trick ! as soon as I saw nvidia control panel already installed, I knew the OR would finally work and it did. I have not tried to fly in DCS just yet as when the rift first came on I ducked and almost lost My balance and it was a trip ! Thank You Microsoft for updates !

nvidia drivers fixed the entire issue and microsoft update was the answer to the RIFT not installing. Hope this helps others as I tried for 6 hours to get the rift to work.

how do You turn off Missile videos in the Huey ?

I am trying to look up how to shut off the missle effects in the Huey as I now crash because I cant see where I am flying. Thank You

Thank You Toutenglisse, I reinstalled the EVGA precision XOC and made sure the GPU was set at factory settings and now I am able to do My first successful benchmark test and was able to Fly in DCS which after all, is the most important thing on My mind. Thank You so much for Your Help !!!

I have not been able to run a single benchmark without My system crashing. I had to wait two days to receive two displayport cables so that I could do Nvidia Surround 5670 x 1080 and My first attempt at running DCS and the system crashes again. I am worried I have a bad new card. I could not get the screen to look right so I deleted Option.lua and all hotas and pedals have not been set up yet. dcsw.txt
