I had moved from CT to TN and while I did have my computer set up and could fly DCS missions, I had not used teamspeak in many months. Last night I downloaded TS3 and went on to the DOW Teamspeak site and no one was in the lobby but there were a few people in an area that I had never seen before..... as its been a long time that I last spoke to anyone online I decided to ask some questions. I was immediately BANNED from the TS3 DOW site !!! For WHAT ? Ive contributed money and have been a good non member guest and feel that this person who banned me must be either very young or not very patient with the power He has to ban others for no reason. I would appreciate some help in correcting this problem. My download keeps stopping at 10652.9 of 14814.0 mbytes and this has happened several times. Very frustrating. I wish I could hit cancel and have it pick up where it left off, but it starts back at zero and takes so long.

Ive been using it for the past two days as the final consumer version and DCS seems to run very well now. I dont know if my 4 gig video cards with DX12 are now running at 8 gigs being as DCSW is DX10, but the dashboard sure seems more clear and Im liking it !!!

DoW DVD I should have photoshopped this and put WWII planes on it !!! Made me think of All the great guys and gals flying on the best server in the WORLD !!!

So then is it better to take off in the Dora with flaps UP to get a more stable climb up until you raise your gear ??????? That is what I get out of this, but I know nothing about the physics and terms many of you mentioned. Thanks for your answer to this !

My X-52 died and they replaced it. I sold it to another person brand new never opened for 100 bucks. I wanted to get the warthog, but money is a little tight and ive been saving up for a VR headset, Once the Vive and Rift and others come out around 2016. I was thinking about getting the X55, but after reading this, I would rather save up and get a warthog. The old Saitek X36F and X35T I am using now works just fine but I did feel I flew better with the X52 when it was working. I cant get my M2 and M3 to do anything but be single key presses, as I dont run any software. Thanks for your opinion on the X55, I appreciate it very much. \

I tried to install DX9C and it will not allow me to do so ????? I would have thought DCSW would have included that in the download of the entire program. Here is the message I received.

DCS and my PC crashes in win 10 OK, so I went back and it crashed again. this time I had my GPU's not over clocked. I am using Win 10 Pro insider preview build 10162 and nvidia drivers ver 353.30 This win 10 is set up as a duel boot on a separate hard drive not my primary win 8.1 OS that I mostly use. The computer OS crashed at 11:33pm by my clock on the wall, which is very close to pc clock. I will upload the dx log and the memory dump. Thank You for Your help !!! Mike The mem dump wont upload. its 700 megs in size. I keep getting a message from ED manage attachments. I will go and check DX9 and I dont even know what a MSVC library is ? ( MS has got to be Microsoft )

I would very much like to fly and actually be with others and not alone against AI all the time. I know that what time it is has so much to do with what happens and its very hard to be able to get everyone together with people sleep and work schedules.

I spent hours yesterday downloading DCS to my small hard drive that has Win10 latest version and all my nvidia drivers and things are up to date. When I start TIR5 and then DCSW, everything is just fine. I chose to do a take off from the single player Dora, and that loads up and just before I hit the FLY button, the computer screens go black and the entire PC crashes. Two GPU's video are added together now in DX12 I really like the fact that the new Win 10 has DX12 and my two 4 gig gpu's will now actually be running 8 gigs of video ram now !!! :pilotfly:

I wish I knew how to change the Q on the tail of the CTYANKEE P51 and just add a American Flag instead. I have lived in CT all my life, Except when travelling to find work in other States, and the 72-75 years I spent in the Army. I will be moving to TN soon, as I cant afford to live here anymore. Why pay 400 a month for taxes on a house when I can pay $114.00 a YEAR !!! Id rather have the money in my pocket then theirs.

The new rift hand controllers sure look a lot more comfortable then the Vives ?

I have a old usb Saitek X36F and 35T and I was wondering if there is some type of program I can get that would allow me to be able to use M1 M2 and M3 so that I could assign more things to my different buttons ? The software that Saitek provides is normally not great at least I know for the X52 it was not, but my hotas is older and I would like to be able to set it up with more options, and if I go into DCS options, and just slide the M1 to M2 and click on something, it does not change from the M1 settings. Thanks for any help with this !!!
