No, I did not use the move. I did just recently get a 1TB SSD and now My C drive has DCSW and Saved games all on the same hard drive. Thank You very much for informing Me that I needed to do what You said instead of what I was doing.

I have a lot of reading to do now on this thread, so much great info !!!! A while back, I was able to finally get a new skin for the F16 called the 327th Hell Hound and I really liked how it looked. Now when I try to install it, its a NO GO. I moved My Saved Games to my D drive, My C drive is small, and it seems to work just fine. Most files mention where to put them, and I have had luck with just one, and all of the others just dont say where or work. The 6.4 C130 HERCULES mod in any version just does not work for Me. I am very happy to have found this thread and all of the nice people and I look forward to reading everything and trying what has been written. Clear Skies Mike

I just read that You have to put the Hercules file in the saved games folder and not in the game mods aircraft one and so now I no longer get the above fail message. The Hercules is not listed at all in DCS flight sim when I start. I change the name from Hercules ver 6.4 to just Hercules, that cant be the problem ? The DOCS file is empty. and while in the past I was able to get it to run, it always crashed DCS. Grim Reapers has no problems and I wish I could understand why I have so many problems. Ver 6.4 is the newest. Thanks for any help as to WHERE I should put the file for it to run ok.

Hi BigNewy, I am so sorry that I ended up putting My name in the NAME area, instead of things like P47-40 syria war. I wish I could edit them as I have uploaded quite a few and its just not right that as a individual You would have to do all of the work because of My mistakes. I used photoshop to show the name of the plane or jet from ctguy to P51D or the actual name. I promise to never make this mistake again, I guess being 66 years old and not with it too much, has caused this, but knowing when You make a mistake and not making it again counts for something. As I am the only one that made this mistake, I guess DCSW will not have to make the user download area editable for others. Someone was nice enough to message Me about how when I upload .miz and .trk files to the user download area, instead of putting the name of the uploaded files, I have been putting My user name. All of My logs are from 2020 and this happened just a week ago or so..... I would be willing to help any way I can. Sure am glad that everything in DCS is all working again. dcs.log

I went into my bios and messed with a few things and now everything is working ok. I will now do a system restore backup. Sorry I could not be more helpful for others who may have this problem. ************************************************************************************************* OLD Did not work. The time was correct and I changed it by one min. I did a clean and a repair and nothing helps. Bad part is now I have 3 planes and only one map. I have many of my serial numbers but not all. Serial numbers are keyless now anyway, so this is very bad.

Well its groundhog day 2021 and My rockets wont fire in the P47 30 or 40 version. I have not tried using bombs first, but that will be next Well it ended up being My fault..... I did not switch the knob that says Single or Auto and now it works fine in the P47-40. Happy Ground Hog Day and Clear Skies !!!

I am having a problem trying to remember how to just delete options lua and start from scratch. I just bought a 4th monitor and Nvidia Control has the 5760 x 1080 three screens as 1 screen and the 43" TV as "computer" if I choose to run anything on the big screen. Now when I start DCS, the screen is so big You cant hit any buttons and I have to use task manager to end DCS. I went into Nvidia Control Panal and turned off the TV and it made no difference. Frontier keeps taking me off of a 11 MBPS port and putting Me on a lower tier. I am getting ripped off. I use open beta 99% of the time, and it used to ask You if You wanted to download a different way and now it does not. Letting off steam and it helps.... I am glad I found this thread. I wanted to know about what maps had what damage models and I just figured that the PG map has many large structures that a 2000 LB bomb can take them down. Have to learn more about setting a trigger zone and what it changes. Thanks Clear Skies Mike

Thank You Flappie, I appreciate the help, sorry it took so long to see this. On a lot of MP sites, they want Me to use the F10 key and pick things that are not there. F10 for Me only does the main Map. I think there may be two other F10 controls using alt and cntrl, but I never use them and dont remember. But they are not the ones MP sites want.

I have asked this question in other posts and this thread at least gave me some clues that I will try out. I do fast forward a lot and that could be the reason.

My joystick board broke twice in the last 3 years. It cost so much to send it back the first time, that I just ordered the part and installed it myself. Easy to do on the joystick. I have a 4 port usb box velcroed to the side of My PC that My TrackIR5, Crosswind pedals, and TM Hotas is hooked up to and all 4 have push buttons that turn it on and off, so even if a power surge comes through, it wont bother anything.

I would also like to fly the SBD and dive bomb Jap carriers. I just hope the F4U comes out soon... I am happy to have recently learned about the dive brakes on the P-47, what a difference it makes !

I made a trk and uploaded it the the user files and when I try to watch it, it does not do what I had done in the trk file, it crashes into the ocean. I feel I was so close to being able to fire a Mav, but as I said, the trk file is not what I uploaded. no mav for Me.trk

I am glad I found this page and will watch Wags video..... so frustrating that I cant fire any mav, or if I do it one time, I cant repeat it.

I tried doing searches in the forum and nothing comes up on this topic. I am flying the P47 in the Mission "Yardwork" and I need to press F9 in order for the other three planes to attack the targets. Not sure how to solve this ?????

Thank You Reece146 for responding. the part that deals with packets waiting to be sent and causing lag can be changed, but I am just not sure if DCS is something that can be helped by doing it.

Thank You for the info about NS430, that could be why My system crashes every time I try to fly the mod, at least I can fly for a min or so, before the crash, so I will take off the NS430 and see if it makes a difference. The EightBall link above this for version 5.0 does not work.

I am sorry that the photos are not in the right order and game mode and Packet Lag are all mixed up. At least You can go to bottom of screen and choose the order they are in from 34-41
