I thank You for posting the last updates, I had not read them and was happy to see that there might just be the possibility of flying a Corsair F4U before My eminent demise. Or Civil War II , never mind Covid-19. (My Opinion @ this conjuncture in time) I look forward to flying the F4U onto a super carrier and watching the control station landing attempts. After 4 years and many hours, I still have a very hard time landing a dora without bouncing, even the A8 model. Clear Skies Mike

I was on the Syria Map and was making My way in a F16 to a target and all of a sudden I had no control and could do nothing. A message appeared that " A player has been rightfully judged " and I ended up quiting the server. Never had anything like this happen before, what gives ????

Well all of these posts are from March, and now its August and not much info yet. The Corsair F4U is My favorite plane and I look forward to flying it ASAP and landing it on the Carrier that Magnitude will provide with the Corsair and the Super Carrier will be nice as We can watch what happens and get clues as to how to become better at landing.

No, I had the money but have hopes the F4U Corsair will pop up while I am still alive...

I bought the Syria Map today and with My Points, it would have been $3.99 I chose to pay full price and save the points on a 80 dollar plane/Jet. After seeing Matts video, I knew that flying the F16 near the sea that I can duck into the valleys and live for another day... Clear Skies Mike

SRS turned off now Thank You Chump, I came back here as I found out how to turn it off, and no longer have a problem. I just used lua editor to turn off the radio. Thanks for Your help !

(problem Solved in Lua Editor) I am trying to turn SRS off, the large label onscreen is driving me nuts. I thought I read something about ALT CTRL and another letter or number but I cant remember or find it right now. I just want to fly and not have that on my screen. I am glad I found this link, as sometime in the future I do want to learn how to get it to work and this link will help. Clear Skies Mike

I downloaded the program and ran it and the SRS Radio Icon is all light up on the main screen. I went into options.lua and deleted the plugin, yet I cant play DCS without this 4 1/4" X 1 3/4" black and red label showing up on my screen. Any help would be much appreciated. SRS is not listed in the Installed area like other mods I have.

I was in the Army from 72-75 stationed overseas and know nothing about Ships. When watching a F-18 getting ready to take off, all the people on deck have the different shirts on and are totally in charge of the plane. There is a 5-7 foot long by 3-4 foot glassed in area and I was wondering who is sitting in there ? Or just a camera ? Thanks for help with this question. Mike

Good news..... while DLing from the USER sight was only 700Kb, I downloaded a mod using beta version and My DL speed was 1.5 megs a second !!! So no problem in the future when the Super Carrier or maps come out !!! All is well in DCS World **************************************************************************** The Persian gulf map at 700 KBps ( way under one meg ) would take a whole day for Me to DL. My wife has a modem downstairs and I have one upstairs. I just bought a TP-Link TL-R470+ Load balancing router and hooked it up today. Without even going into the new routers settings and clicking on the Enable Load Balancing button, it did it for me and on Steam and Origin I just went from 700KbPS to 1.5 MBps and I was so happy, until I went on the DCSW User DL sight and My DL's were back to 700Kbps. I tried to do a search for port forwarding or if something can be done to make it faster like steam and Origin are. I do not play DCS on Steam. I just don't understand why other DL sights are twice as fast but DCSW is not. for the upcoming Super Carrier DL, I was hoping to get the faster speeds. Well at least things worked out that DCS DL speed is just as good as any others. Mike

How lucky You are to have 5-23 MBps. The highest I get in the mountains of TN is 7.7 Mbps which is 700K and under one meg per sec. I just bought a TP-Link load balancing router and will hook up My Wife's and My router to it and double my download speed to 1.4 MBps.

I knew C language back in 1988 when I bought a Amiga 500. Once they stopped making flight sims, I moved to PC's. So I am now able to use the updater GUI utility and use that to put all terrains and planes on the Open Beta and really look forward to the Super Carrier and the new maps !!! Thanks again for Your help that I am now all set up to do so !!!

I tried different ways, admin and regular cmd prompt and it did not work for me. I do not think its because I dont have DCS in a program file ? At least DCS is now on the 1 TB SSD drive but windows is still on a small SSD and the clone did work, but I could not change the drive letter and if I unplugged the C drive the pc stopped working and froze. The copy and pasteof DCS did work so now all I need to do is get the updates to go to the J drive. lucky for me I searched around and found a free clone program and did not have to install Win 10 Pro from scratch with all downloads to upgrade as My win10 disk is from 2015. As soon as its done, I will do the admin cmd prompt and do the "DCS_UPDATER SETTINGS"

Thank You so much for that info !!! Now that someone else told me that Indexing would make everything better to put win 10 and DCS world on the 1 TB SSD drive, I am doing that now. A million UP Votes to YOU I really think that a LOT of people will be helped by what You helped Me with !!!!

I am using CC Cleaner to erase my 1TB SSD drive and then I will install WIN 10 on it and copy my F drive that has open beta and standard version to it, so no more DL space problems. I am still interested in knowing if port forwarding will help DL speeds, but I know the new load balancing router will help DL speeds. Thanks I also have this problem and its May 2020. My C drive is small and all updates go to that small SSD drive and I sure wish I could make it go to an internal SSD 1 TB drive. I just ordered a TP-Link Safestream Multi WAN LOAD BALANCING Router from amazon, as My wife and I have two routers and only get 0.8 kbps dl speeds. Now when no one is using tv or PC at night, I can hopefully get 1.6 MBps DL speeds. I do not see anything for 2020 about port forwarding and was wondering if PORT RANGES would make any difference with DL speeds ? Thanks for any help
