  1. Comms Question I rewatched Wags Carrier Comms video from June 2019. Will you have to program Marshall and Approach frequencies into the radio and be on the correct channel? It did not appear to be that way in the video. I understand that the video was very early in the development process. Thanks, Steve
  2. Also, what happened to the DLZ for JDAM's and the data cartridge? Thanks
  3. I saw an E-2 moving onto a CAT in the trailer video. I think they should be in there.
  4. It looks like they are going to direct you to the CAT. If I understood correctly, they will be around all of the time but will not have a collision model. Steve
  5. Nice video! Thanks for that.
  6. This just happened to me also. I quit flying this campaign when the INS went wacky, I thought it was fixed?
  7. Thank you Wags! Nice update.
  8. Finally, some information. Not much to ask for really. Thank you. Now, just keep the community updated and take your time to make it a game-changer. Thanks again, Steve
  9. Thanks for the reply. This thread is about missing communication for the Super Carrier Module. You know, the product that is scheduled for imminent release. You get the point. Also some of those "news letters" are just product sales.
  10. Kinda scary. They are hoping for a Q1 release. I honestly would not care if they said that they are pushing it back but give continuous updates. There has not been a Hornet update in quite some time. It makes me think that something is going on internally at the company. Updates and features were coming out monthly but have come to a grinding halt over the past 8-10 months. Leading up to the release of the Hornet / Persian Gulf map, the communication was awesome. Wags did some live streams, everyone was hyped.
  11. Over three months since pre-orders opened and that trailer video with no news. I agree that they should not rush this product out and should take their time. The communication issue with ED will never go away and it will always be the same. I think that's the part that gets confused in this community. Just because people ask for updates or news it does not mean that they are rushing. Tell us "Hey, this is what we are up to this month with the Supercarrier module. Or hey, we are doing this to the Hornet." That is what is lacking. Let's hope for a homerun this time around.
  12. The end of Q1 is rapidly approaching.
  13. I thought I read that they will 3D model each carrier. :pilotfly:
  14. Exactly. An included qualification mission will be awesome.
  15. There was a thread about this a while back. I would like a carrier qualification mission set complete with tankers. Similar to the F/A-18 sim from back in the day. Immersion level 10.
  16. That would be very cool. I saw this on the "wishlist" forum. I really hope the deck crew assists in taxiing.
  17. Thank you. Great realistic update. -Steve
  18. Hey ED, I remember when the Gulf Map was getting ready for release, Wags did a few Live Streams showing it off. Community members were able to ask some questions, etc. I see a bunch of questions surrounding DCS content floating around, and was wondering if this was something you guys were considering doing again? Thanks, Steve
  19. I have been very critical of Heatblur in the past. I have to say, I was wrong. You guys are relentless. Everything you guys put out is above expectations.
  20. Bad reading by me. Yes, I now read that the Super Carrier package will include all 5. Exciting times!
  21. I also believe that it will only be CVN-71, CVN-72, and CVN-73.
  22. 3/11/20 is my guess.
  23. Time and effort with constant additions. Sign me up and sign my wallet up.
  24. Thank you for making this forum, first off. I have been a fan of Naval Aviation sims since Janes F/A-18. I am sure plenty of people on here also loved that sim. I remember the included missions "Carrier Qualifications." They were completely setup for the user to do a complete qualification during the Day, Night, and Foul Weather. They also worked in multi-player. Would be cool for the Super Carrier to have missions like this included. Thank you, Steve
