  1. It is good. Really good. Happy landings, Talisman
  2. Yes, I would love VOIP to work too. It is all very frustrating. I would very much like not to be using SRS and avoid it when I can. I refuse to use Discord as I can't agree with the terms and conditions, it is an additional security risk I just don't need, it's business model is data mining and I find the interface infantile and aimed at kids. Happy landings, Talisman
  3. Yes, do not check invert x and y, but do check swap axis. Swap axis check is underlined because it is very important for the MSFF2 to work properly. And, just like MAXsenna has said, don't use curves. Happy landings, Talisman
  4. Loving my standard version of the MSFF2 stick with the Phantom. Here are my settings: SPECIAL: Stick deflection limit and stick force blending both off. AFCS Breakout dead zone Roll 1%, Pitch 2%. FFB gain 200% Roll, 150% Pitch. FFB TUNE PITCH AND ROLL: Force 100, Shake 100 and CHECK SWAP AXIS (invert x and y are not checked). AXIS TUNE PITCH AND ROLL: 0 100 80 Slider not checked Invert not checked Curve not checked Note: Using a value of 80 on the saturation y axis gives more precise control, helps keep the Phantom fast, especially in a dogfight, and reduces over pulling/stressing. Works for me, but your mileage may vary. Happy landings, Talisman
  5. Good news f4I0. Thanks a lot! Happy landings, Talisman
  6. Sorry mate. You have my sympathy. You have obviously put a lot of work and effort into this. Good luck. Happy landings, Talisman
  7. Thank you Grover for making contact and posting such informative and inspiring information. Good luck with the release. Happy landings, Talisman
  8. There is no abuse from me and I think you are being rather disingenuous to claim so. After reading your response to my post I simply decided that it was pointless offering argument to someone who presumes to know better than me what I find immersive and who responds to posts in such an insulting and arrogant fashion. Try reading your posts and imagining that they are from someone else to you and you might see what I mean. Happy landings, Talisman
  9. This sounds like blackwhite (as in 1984) to me. To me your post comes across as a little crazy and rather obtuse. But I suppose you must realise that. Happy landings, Talisman
  10. I don't think you understand. They don't stand out like a beacon to me because I absolutely hate the immersion breaking totally unreal and weird looking other world false dot option and choose to compete with it turned off!! At the moment I am forced to make a choice of either totally immersion breaking awful, unreal weird looking alien visuals with the dot modification option turned on or turn it off and suffer a competitive disadvantage in MP against some players who take tactical advantage of the unreal awful fuzzy big grey alien looking cubes that can be seen from many miles away (like a big radar blob on a screen). So you see Tippis there is absolutely no bright side at all! I hope you and DCS can just understand this please! Happy landings, Talisman Exactly! Well said. This is why I don't understand why DCS appears to be so slow to rectify the problems it has introduced. Do any DCS developers use their product competitively on MP servers? Do they understand the problematic and frustrating spotting dot modification issues for some of their customers who do compete on MP servers? Happy landings, Talisman
  11. A great shame. Thank you for responding. Happy landings, Talisman
  12. It is all very bad at the moment with the dot spotting and the awful fuzzy grey cubes seen from miles away for air and ground objects. I have DCS for multiplayer activity in VR and this awful spotting dot issue is the main thing that puts me right off DCS. No chance not to be seen when flying tactically in my Huey on the Enigma Cold War Server for example. I just have to accept that I stand out like a beacon to some enemy and it is no fun at all. It is very frustrating that this issue is not being resolved with urgency. Makes me feel as a customer that the developers don't care.
  13. Is there a penalty for not recovering troops back to base after a helicopter troop drop in enemy territory, especially if they are not far from the boarder with friendly territory? Can they reasonably be expected to get back home under their own steam when circumstances are against being able to pick them up? Thanks. Happy landings, Talisman
  14. Just pre-ordered the Chinook. It could be with us by June, along with the AFG map. Happy days. Good luck, Talisman
  15. Very strange. Sorry to hear that Shadey. I have run out of suggestions, but perhaps someone else can shed some light on this for you. Happy landings, Talisman
  16. Maybe try the Huey? You might be surprised how enjoyable choppers can be. I am an ex warbird man, but tried the Huey and I am now into choppers big time. Cold war servers like Enigma are great for choppers and the cold war era aircraft sets and ground units are more joined up and representative as a complete package than WWII with DCS IMHO. Good luck. Happy landings, Talisman
  17. Even with radio turned on and set to INT? With radio on and set to INT, you should then get a 'copy' response from the crew chief and then your request should be met. Good luck. Happy landings, Talisman
  18. Looking very good Daemoc. I have improved mine too and now use two of the throttle levers with a thicker, longer metal tube similar to yours. But your set up is very much better than mine. Well done! Happy landings, Talisman
  19. Very big thank you to Andre for helping me out recently with a problem concerning my JetPad and SimShaker. Andre and f4IO are super helpful and I highly recommend them to anyone thinking of getting a JetPad and or SimShaker. Tech support for customers is brilliant. Happy landings, Talisman
  20. Very much agree. I think that there is a lot of untapped potential for helicopter ops that DCS has yet to exploited. I think that DCS could reach a wider customer base if it was to expand more into this area. Happy landings, Talisman
  21. Being able to see troops in the back and disembarking/embarking would be a fantastic addition for helicopter operations immersion across the board. At the moment I feel a disconnect between me as a Huey pilot and the troops when carrying out troop transport and troop support duties. Happy landings, Talisman
  22. I just don't understand why FFB joysticks are not more of a thing for modern devices. If MS could produce their MSFF joystick all those years ago (and Saitek) then why has there not been much more progress since then? When I am in VR, it is the feel/feedback function that is important to me, not the physical look of a joystick. I don't need or want a physically sexy looking joystick when I can be far more accurate when flying with FFB and have far more immersion. Surely there is a gap in the market for someone to make a clean sweep and dominate market share in this regard. Happy landings, Talisman
  23. Love FFB! Would not purchase/fly a model without FFB. I trust that we will have good FFB modelled for the Phantom and Chinook. FFB joystick plus JetPad with SimShaker software along with VR and haptic earphones makes a wonderfully immersive flight simulation with DCS aircraft. FFB. You know it makes sense. Happy landings, Talisman
