How come that in RF inferior aircrafts win over better ones with better tactic, DCS used to work like that but with missiles are how they are and the fuel situation witch cant be correct has taking all tactics away. 3 years a go and in FC1.12 F-15 and actives was better but tactics could be used as fuel game or missiles were more reliable. What has happened is that on side is so bad that even tactics are out of the way. You know that missiles tracking is objective and nothing would say that you make it less realistic if missiles get slightly better or if EOS turning on automatically and kill your SARH missile. all this together has taken the tactical side of the A2A away.

Chiz I invite you to fly a squad match with 51st, you fly on our side. I dont think you are aware of how bad it is. F-16 have more fuel after the fight and you missiles miss from 10/7/5km.
-
On the net I can only find that Su-27 should fly longer distance then F-18/F-16. Why it is not represented in DCS? Is there charts where DCS drag/fuel consumption is compared to RL?

Good Work Alfa! Now let see EDs work

Has Deka decided yet? What's their next module?
Teknetinium replied to J-20's topic in Deka Ironwork Simulations
Its only a Pipe dream if ED stop Deka from developing Su-30. Im worried more about ED stopping the project then Deka them self falling to get the intel. ED announced Su-27SM/Su-27S before witch stopped anyone considering doing it. Later on from the political situation and EDs actions made it impossible to make anything modern that is Russian. That made ED to announce that anyone who could make a modern Russian model was free to do so. I dont trust ED and their business model and see ED as the biggest threat to Su-30. Who knows they might think they can make Su-30 instead in future. ED dont care anyway that their costumers have to wait for years for bug fixes not to mention new models in Alpha stages. -
Dangerous Waters on DCS - any interest?
Teknetinium replied to nbowling's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Would be cool. -
Only Chiz check his facts,
-
You can see clearly that it dont look the same and not pensioned in same way on Su-27S compare to SM3.
-
Same regarding you, Its seam SM3 use OLS30 and ground mapping radar
-
Was fooled by one article, https://www.defensenews.com/global/europe/2018/08/01/a-jet-sale-to-egypt-is-being-blocked-by-a-us-regulation-and-france-is-over-it/ I think Egypt is Dreaming about Su-35
-
As I know Egypt can only use ER/ET-27/R-77 as the best A2A weapons, they dont have A2A weapons on Rafale and on F-16 only AIM-7.
-
MKI use OLS-30 at least, I would assume SM3 use OLS-35, I think it should be possible to see by pics.
-
They should have new EOS as well and updated engines with 15% more drag and better fuel efficiency.
-
Chiz, ED had time to implement lost of lock if rolled below 1500m, why dont ED find time for something that improves the situation for Su-27/33. That Radar turns off and switch to EOS as soon a target is notching making ER-27 Lose track should be possible to fix in order to make it closer to RL. Chiz, could you give me one example where Su-33 broke its wings? Is it Possible to break Su-33 wing with G limiter on.
-
Chiz could we get something that help the situation mean while. This is one important feature that actually downgrade us then the opposite.

reported AIM-120C losing targets easily for chaff even at close ranges
Teknetinium replied to Comrade Doge's topic in Weapon Bugs
I dont see AIM-120C miss more then it should in this track, there are some strange behaviours but it is related to your aircrafts gimble on the target. AIM-120 should as well be effected by jammers witch it is not modelled at all. I dont know where some got it from that AIM-120 could not be notched with chaff, jammers or effected by ground clutter. Actually the AIM-120 track surprisingly good in EDs world when being notched, chaffed, jammed against ground clutter. Tacview-20210210-235853-DCS-aim-120_TEST.zip.acmi -
Most of us are here since it started with Flanker and F-15, Thats how it all started and where the main core is if you ask me. That core has been lost because of different actions made by ED and outside factors. It is sanctions by US taking effect around 2014, before then ED had plans for modern airframes from Russia, how was the Ka-50 possible regarding your law talk! Now back to MIG-29,

reported AIM-120C losing targets easily for chaff even at close ranges
Teknetinium replied to Comrade Doge's topic in Weapon Bugs
Tacview-20210210-235853-DCS-aim-120_TEST.zip.acmi Aim-120 lose track only when there is a perfect notch, you cant even have 5 degree of. Not going for chaff at all if you are not in a 100% notch witch is almost impossible to achieve if you are not AI knowing where the missile is. Then watch ER-27 at work from 28min. I dont think I need to say more. Magic INS at work again? Something we noticed is that if you dont point your nose to the bandit and have it on you gimble the AIM-120/ER-27 prone to lose track at 12.45 is the example. -
Dont get offended, it was fixed some patches a go after being exploited for several years I could show you some thing AIM-120 do in this patch but in another thread.
-
Since so many fly F- using AIM-120 they don't want to report unrealistic behaviour as magic INS for over three years. I could go on but this is not the topic to prove anything for you
