  1. Hello, as the title states, there is an entry "Harrier" within planes encyclopedia. It shows <BAD UTF-8> description and missing textures. Current OB: DCS/2.8.6.41363 single and multithreading is the same. The AV-8B entry is correct: Thanks for checking Jens
  2. Nice pictures, must have been a great event. Following 360° camera video was also linked on discord.
  3. No luck so far Track attached, also on discord. Heavy g-spike, blackout, nose gear / hydraulic loss. Thanks anyway, hope the track will help to analyse. MB-339_RC1_taxi_test.trk
  4. I checked this, as I also thought I may had accidentally moved the slider an my T.16000 base, but it was all the way up. So for me it currently looks as if the lamp is only dependent on amount of torque. As soon as I pulled on the collective, lamp went out.
  5. Being light and flying with low power settings, the idle lamp illuminates...
  6. digging up the screenshot thread
  7. Hello, there's a power pole in the middle of the street. Please find coordinates in screenshot. DCS/2.8.6.41066 MT Thanks Jens

  8. Hello, the tunnel exit at the following coordinates 34°40'08.9"N 32°49'40.3"E (real world) looks weird. DCS/2.8.6.41066 MT In game coordinates in screenshot. Thanks Jens

  9. Exactly my thoughts. Would also think, the clutch engagement would occur with a bit higher than this idle rpm and than the needles should sync and you need to stabilize and only than one should advance throttle further. Thanks, also would love to hear from PC more about this. Maybe it needs a bit more tuning.
  10. Thanks rudel, the same thing also crossed my mind some days ago. This threads can be merged, I guess. I also find the idle lamp strange. Do you also know under which circumstances the red bloc light should be illuminated?
  11. Chuck's Guide is outdated with the latest great changes and improvements to the Gazelle. L now has the periscopic sight and can launch HOT missiles with it. We need to wait for an update of his guide.
  12. Yeah, this would need some more implementation. So WSO could talk the AI wingman on to the target. I just wanted to prove that AI wingman is able to fire HOT3s. But this needs to be more detailed in mission. I also sent the wingman out on recon but it didn't find targets. Only after tasking to engage ground targets from less than 4 km away, this worked. But this was no threat training environment with non moving and non shooting M113 APCs.
  13. Hello, as the title says, this looks weird. Pressing the Volt Meter Test Button also triggers lamp test button on warning lights panel. Please see video below. Checked with SA342L in OB MT DCS/2.8.6.41066. Thanks Jens

  14. My L wingman fired with command to engage ground targets. Looking with the L's periscope and tasking him to engage my target didn't work. SA-342_wingman_HOT3_engage.trk
  15. Works for me. Just added an AI Gazelle M with CAS task to my mission and set a waypoint with attack group. So in general it's working. Now it's up to you, how is your mission and your AI flight set up.
  16. @Flappie mmmhh... it's the F-86, not F-5 It's "4.2.8. Trim tab take-off position indicator light" on page 87 and "Take-off trim position indicator light" on page 148 in the manual.
  17. Hello, first I want to they thankyou for updating the Gazelle with the new FM. It "feels" much more natural now from what I would expect an helicopter would react. Also performance being much more affected by weight is great. There are some things I want to ask regarding behavior during startup of the engine. 1. rotor and engine rpm When the engine is running, I engage the throttle just a bit so that the rotor starts spinning and wait until the two needles sync. From than on, advancing the throttle slowly to max. I see that the rotor RPM needle always stays behind and never syncs with the engine rpm needle. This eventually happens when reaching max. rpm. Is this normal? 2. idle light (RLT) The yellow engine idle light (RLT) is described as "This yellow lamp will light up when turbine idle is not reached." I would expect the light to extinguish, once throttle is at max and rotor RPM needle is synced. Currently, the light extinguishes when pulling collective > 35% (or something like this). Please also check the video below: Thanks Jens
  18. Time to read the changelog carefully
  19. Hello, having TM TWCS throttle with just one throttle axis I wish we could have the option to change throttle to boost axis with shortcut. Having reached max. throttle position while climbing, we could change option to boost axis and now control the boost lever as only the boost lever is needed at higher altitudes to control manifold pressure. And yes, I don't want to mess with external axis and key mapping tools. Thanks Jens
  20. @NineLine Still an issue in DCS/2.8.5.40170 (x86_64; MT; Windows NT 10.0.19045) So I guess still WIP? So these threads are also related to the hydraulic system:
  21. Still an issue with current OB. 2023-06-06 07:15:10.565 INFO APP (Main): DCS/2.8.5.40170 (x86_64; MT; Windows NT 10.0.19045) Hydraulic pressure will not bleed after engine is stopped and cycling flaps or cowl flaps.
  22. Thanks for posting. This was also a thing I noticed having bought the P-47 lately. From a my point of view, having that little handpump will not instantaneously increase pressure to 800 PSI. This should look like increasing a bit during a stroke and needing several strokes to reach 800 PSI. Hope this can get fixed in the future.
  23. just watch the intro... Would be nice to see some assets, but better not get greedy. Let's let them do their job with the plane and map first.

Rocket salvo attack on this row of containers 36°43'10.6"N 115°39'15.7"W. RTB touchdown imminent a bit fast in the turn... Internal fuel only is so low. I had to refuel at Creech to be able to get back to Nellis, after flying multiple attack runs at the target range.
  25. ups... you're right. Something ending on ...us Nevertheless, content and feedback of both is appreciated.
