  1. Which page specifically. Are you SURE that you're watching a DCS video and not a video from another sim?
  2. I don’t see these issues. Recommend uninstalling the F-16 module from module manager and reinstall.
  3. The biggest issue is the excessive lateral tyre grip, as shown in my thread that’s linked above. If you land crabbed then tyres with the default lateral grip settings will not slide across the surface which Will result in massive roll forces. If you reduce the lateral tyre grip to something sensible like 0.4 then it all behaves as it should. Same issue is present with the F-15 as well. That’s also not landable at its crosswind limit for the same reason. Unfortunately 2.5.6 stopped my mod from working.
  4. No problemo! :thumbup::joystick:
  5. Are you changing waypoint while using the TGP in CCRP mode? If you change waypoint while the TGP is slaved to a waypoint then it moves the waypoint to where the TGP is looking as you swap them instead of moving the TGP to the new waypoint. Before swapping waypoint swap to CCIP mode and then back to CCRP once you’ve changed waypoint. This is a bug caused by the WIP implementation of the TGP currently.
  6. Nothing. Makes no difference.
  7. I think it just hasn't had them made yet. They were working on finessing the main 3D model until recently, only once that's done can you start pairing it back for LODs. It'll get it in time, i'm sure.
  8. Hey all. Latest Beta I noticed in a few of my missions that the HUD symbology for where the TGP was looking was offset vertically for no reason I could figure out. The TGP was looking in the correct place but the box in the HUD showing where it was looking wasn't. I fiddled around in the mission editor to see if I could figure out what caused it. Happens to Cold/Hot and Air starts, on all maps. I finally managed to narrow it down to be the QNH air pressure setting in the mission. If this is set to anything other than default the TGP symbol will be in the incorrect place. Lower pressure = Lower Symbol Higher pressure = Higher Symbol I set up a simple mission with a single APC at the middle of the small airfield next to Kobuleti. Ran it 3 times with 3 different pressure settings 28.92 - 29.92 - 30.92, tracks are attached which show each run and should show the problem well. Hope this Helps! Cheers D HUD TGP 2892.trk HUD TGP 2992.trk HUD TGP 3092.trk
  9. The real F-16 stick essentially doesn't move... so a realistic FFB setting is going to be somewhat impossible. But the real stick requires less force to get to full roll input then it does to get to full pitch input. So roll should be somewhat lighter I guess?

    April Fools!

Some of you guys really need to check and see if you still have a sense of humour. This is a video game, we are all sat at home pretending to be fighter pilots. Try and have some fun once in a while. If you cannot stand it then just for today set your system date to 2nd of April and carry on being grumpy, or do one of the other fixes mentioned earlier in this thread. Good Job ED!
  11. There is a switch on the right hand side of the cockpit in front of the lighting panel that dims all of the caution lights and AoA indexer for NVG compatibility etc. I'm not near my computer so I can't check exactly. But poke around and you'll find it,
  12. More likely to be a map in Germany seeing as it’ll most likely been a German Typhoon variant we get ;)
  13. Yeah I just clear everything initially and start from scratch to make sure I don’t end up with weird binding issues.
  14. It does in the HUD Afaik... perhaps that gets reset upon shutdown?
  15. All great ideas!:D
  16. The CAT switch is Not a G-limiter, it’s a departure protection device. Which limits roll rate, AoA, pitch rate and rudder authority above a certain AoA, the one thing it doesn’t do is directly limit the G you can pull. A jet in CAT-III can pull 9.3G just like a CAT-I jet, if it has the energy available and it can do it without hitting the AoA limit first. It’s primarily there to stop pilots getting into the high AoA regime (beyond 16 degrees) where a loaded jet becomes more prone to departure. Same reason for the roll rate and rudder limit. It is NOT designed to allow you to pull as hard as you like without worrying about over stressing the stores, you still have to manually monitor what G you’re pulling just as you would in CAT-I. As for pilots flying CAT-III loaded jets in CAT-I, I dunno about nowadays but I know from first hand accounts that it happened a whole lot in the past as people were just cognisant of the fact they were flying a loaded jet and flew it to the config G-limit, just like you’d have to do in CAT-III anyway. Of course the F-16 has been around for a long time and the way people are trained to fly them also change, so I’d bet that probably doesn’t happen much any more.
  17. Compare the movement of the white axis bars in the axis binding window. See if your vertical one is moving as far as the horizontal one. If it isn’t click on it, go into axis tune and see if you have the saturation turned down for some reason.
  18. Yeah sounds about right. Notso I’d appreciate your opinion on my earlier post about what in your opinion would be the right way to model it.
  19. No probs! I’m looking forward to it also. ED have got a 3D laser scanner recently so they are probably going to laser scan a pilot for the Viper, similar to what Razbam have been doing. It should hopefully be worth the wait. :D

    AGM-65

    Sooooon.
  21. When you say you can’t map them what do you mean? They are highlighted in red and unmappable or when you click on the binding and it brings up the binding window it doesn’t see your toe brake axis?
  22. It’s never had one. Will be coming in the future.
  23. No. It’s not. The pickle button fires both the missiles and the releases air-ground stores, and obviously it should only be doing one at a time and not both at once. I had this happen recently. And I had not started the jet in either dogfight or msl override, so there goes my theory.
  24. Thanks. It’s a shame my mod no longer works. Back to bouncing sideways across the runway like some kind of demented jet powered pogo stick then lol.
  25. You’re right as per usual. But what would you suggest as a sensible deterrent to stop people over stressing the stores? As can be seen from the whole “F-18 G-Limiter override” paddle people will use whatever capability the aircraft has regardless of its realism or real world consequences, and unfortunately there is currently no consequences to pulling 9G on a 5.5G limited config. I’d personally like to see the appropriately affected stores become hung and un-droppable if you grossly over stress them, say 6.5G on a 5.5G limited config for instance. There needs to be some immediate risk involved in order for people to pay attention to what G they are pulling as they’d have to in real life. In the M2000 you also rip stores clean off the aircraft if you flick it into AA config and pull as hard as you can.
