  1. I'm guessing he means Air-to-Ground, EG Mavericks
  2. Short answer: You Can't, At least not right now. The TPOD and Steepoint implementation right now is WIP and was temporary to get a working TPOD as soon as possible after release. The steerpoint location is irrevocably changed once you start moving it with the TPOD. I use another steerpoint as a sacrifical steerpoint which I'll steer around using the HSD onto other steerpoints If I desperately need to keep track of a location. Once they get the proper SPI system implemented then you'll be able to reset your steerpoints back to their original location as you would in the real jet. Also Switching steerpoints while in CCRP mode will move whatever steerpoint your switching to to be where your pod is currently looking, not the other way around. So I suggest swapping to CCIP mode before changing steerpoints and then going back to CCRP.
  3. Sure... in like 40 years time when it's not massively classified.
  4. Hmmm.. I don't see this issue and never have. Is it on all views or exterior only or? It might be good to produce and updated track as the devs have to go back to the old build to play your old track.
  5. Have you tried just going to Nav anyway even if RDY isn’t flashing to see if it works?
  6. Just because it’s CCRP doesn’t mean you have to just fly level towards the target. You can use CCRP in a dive and also for tossing bombs at targets from distance, in fact you can fly the exact same profile as you would with CCIP, only difference is that you need to know your impact point with the TGP before release. Keep an eye on seconds to release in the bottom right of the HUD to get an idea how close you are to the release window.
  7. I’m really enjoying it, despite its few difficulties.
  8. TY for clarification Santi
  9. That makes sense if there is commonality between the two aircraft, There is large commonality between the A8 and D9 Fw190 for instance. There is almost no commonality between these two versions of the Harrier.
  10. Buuuut, you can't currently point the TGP when in CCIP mode. Its slaved to the CCIP pipper.
  11. No Problem! The first time I saw it I was like  as well.
  12. I don't quite know what you mean? If you're talking about them being offset to the side, that is correct for the real aircraft. Real Aircraft: Your Pic:
  13. Have you tried with different bomb types to see if that has an effect on the error?
  14. You could well be right. He hasn’t replied to any of his threads. Perhaps PM him?
  15. Didn’t make it into today’s patch I’m guessing? I’m still seeing it here.
  16. Its obvious from the OP that he's talking about dropping LGBs in CCIP while self lasing... Not dropping them as dumb bombs as Creature_1stVFW is suggesting.
  17. Yeah but we’re they self lasing? If you’re self lasing then by definition you already have a target track before you release then bomb. So in that situation CCIP is no faster. If you’re buddy lasing or JTAC then CCIP makes sense, and you can already do that with the viper in DCS.
  18. Kinda defeats the point of a precision guided munition... I'm not actually sure why you'd want to drop a LGB in CCIP mode. CCRP mode allows you to fly the exact same flight profile and it will release at the perfect moment to hit the target.
  19. If the horizon line doesn't match the horizon then the bug is happening. I'm not sure if it effects hot start jets or not. Oh I should ask, are you in Open Beta or Release? the Mk82s in release landed short generally, but the Mk84 was pretty accurate. Since 2.5.6 the Mk82 accuracy is much better, the HUD bug notwithstanding.
  20. Yes thats what I expected... If you release it below that height, say 500 ft the bomb goes "Oh... I'm already below 1500ft, I'd better dispense!" and dispenses immediately
  21. Stored heading is always possible. Its not like some other modules (AV8B / F-14 etc) which require certain special or missions setup, it just works. I'd like to see some realistic downsides of using the stored heading alignment if there are any. But currently I don't think there are any downsides to using stored heading alignment.
  22. Be sure you’re not being effected by the HUD offset bug as noted here https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=263441 This can cause weapons to fall short as the CCIP pipper is offset. There is a workaround here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=265289 When that bug isn’t present I find Mk82s and 84s to be pretty accurate.
  23. No they are referring to the name of the switch in the control bindings, I don’t really have much issue finding switches by just filtering them to HOTAS or similar category.
  24. Why would anybody try that. There is an AoA limit for a reason lol.
  25. That wasn’t really my point. I meant releasing them at 10k ft with the fusing set to nose and seeing if they immediately dispense. I’ve done low level runs with the fusing set as default and had them dispense with no problem, so that’s why I’m wondering if it actually works.
