You did the flash right, so you see the "MMJ-Reset" that is a blank(empty) joystick controller without axes and buttons. Now you need use MMJoySetup software and set how many axes will use (pedal is typically 3) and 0 buttons, can set too custom name, custom VID/PID, after hit "save settings for device", and after reboot - see the LED on MMjoySetup changing color, your new controller became visible in Windows Game Controllers and games. If will use ordinary Hall sensor in analog (voltage variation) mode, select "IntSensor" in source. Set too what pins in Arduino will use for axes inputs. See in this video:

Toying with an idea of starting a controller business
Sokol1_br replied to Jyge's topic in Home Cockpits
Low cost < $100 Thrusmaster TFRP Midi-Low cost <$100 CH PRO Pedals Logitech PRO pedals (ex-Saitek) Middle-high cost < $250 VKB T-Rudder VirPil WarBRD High cost > 250 MFG Crosswind VirPil ACE2 Thrustmaster TPR Slaw Viper Not considering pedals optimized for helicopter or airliners, and small production in Eastern Europe countries like this model. an example, L.A.R. pedals, similar to VKB T-Rudder: VKB, VirPil, MFG, Slaw, TPR are ways more modern than Simped that is from end of 1990's, and although was the first pedal to use contactless sensor (Hall sensor) electronics is way outdated today, in Rise of Flight forum an guy say that is less than 8 bits (256 points of resolulion) of outdated CH pedals. The mechanic center system solution of Simped, a "pincer" is good (an improved version is used in TPR), but was surpassed by CAM center system (VKB, VirPil, MFG, Slaw). Then, the ideal market niche for your product is <$250, because the existente options, VKB and VPC exist more on theory than in practice. MMJoy2 firmware is free for personal use, but not for comercial use. I think their developer MegaMOZG (on this forum) provide a solution based on electronics of VirPil for this case. Anyway you can use FreeJoy firmware in commercial project, what use STM32 hardware, more modern relative to ATMEGA32u4 in Arduinos used by MMjoy2: https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/57900-freejoy-opensource-joystick-controller-on-stm32/?do=findComment&comment=883996 -

Problem is, the firmware you will use need support ADS1115, or you need write a code (for Arduino) for support this. But, you have luck, FreeJoy firmware for cheap STM32F103C8 card support ADS1115: https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/57900-freejoy-opensource-joystick-controller-on-stm32/?do=findComment&comment=923722 -

Oops! Ed.420 gimbal (for 3D print) occupies a space of 72 x 68 x 49 mm. Perhaps doable fit Ed.420 inside Suncon case - the red area. I don't check sensor attachment height, have no software for open STL files and take measurements, what maybe prevents use. Issue, the grip attachment need be redraw for Suncon standard. -

No, none of these 3D printed CAM gimbals fit inside Suncon case, this case is too small, perhpas if know how edit Fusion 360 files, can "shrunk" one for fit. Or maybe if you 3d Print a base "extension" increasing case height you DIY gimbal fit. Anyway, as curiosity: when Russian guys start discuss CAM gimbal -around 2008; someone in the (extinct) forum Sukhoi post this project for Suncom base, a kind of "pincer CAM, but other that this pictures I have no more information about, if work, etc. -

Your gimbal looks like a U-join, with separated X, Y axes movements. Melexis MLX90333 Hall sensor need a "ball-joint" gimbal, with mixed X,Y axes movements. Look at this (3D printer) alternative for Warthog (same mechanics), with 4 bearings. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4339191 Requite use external springs, e.g. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=110419 -

VKB MK IV T-Rudder how work Virtual Brakes?
Sokol1_br replied to Aviators's topic in VKB-SIM Flight Gear
No, T-Link use is not dependent of other VKB controller than T-Rudder. I have used T-Link with Thrustmaster T.16000-M and Saitek Cyborg joystick, pressing the virtual brakes in their buttons. Perhaps you need update T-Rudder firmware. I have no issues in use T-Link for DS P-51, BF 109 and FW 190. The software (T-Link) does what is necessary, brake one or the other wheel in taxiing maneuvers, which is a minimum fraction of the use of these aircraft. -

VKB MK IV T-Rudder how work Virtual Brakes?
Sokol1_br replied to Aviators's topic in VKB-SIM Flight Gear
Downwload VKB T-Link software: http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Programms/T_link_v0_66_2.zip Manual: http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Documentations/T_Link_En.pdf Open (no install is required, just extract for a folder) and set a button in your joystick for press virtual brakes axes (L and R), what will brake both wheels simultaneous. Then hit START/STOP for change STATUS: for SENDING DATA and minimize. In game controls (e.g. DCS, X-PLane) assign this two virtual R and L axes for right and left wheel brakes (e.g. for A-10, F-18, P-51, Bf 109...) Playing the games, press the joystick button for brake both wheels, or press the button and move rudder for R or L for brake just one wheel. BTW - In the game IL2 Sturmovik: Great Battles T-Link is not required, because the game has this brake emulation native. -
Ready to use solutions like Leo Bodnar like BBI-64 (64 buttons, no analog axes inputs), or Bu0836A/X (32/34 buttons, 8 analog axes inputs), or DSD-64. DIY - FreeJoy firmware flashed in STM32 boards (<$5). - 128 digital inputs (buttons, toggle switches, hat povs, encoders) -radiobutton sequential button For connect all this buttons will be need make additional Shift Register boards. Ok, but use MMJoy2 firmware is easy way to to, seems more than the way in the site you link above. :) 1- Flash Arduino firmware with MMJoy2 firmware. 2- Connect TQS wires in Arduino in this way: In the picture the guy made a external adapter using Arduino PRO Micro, but you can place the board inside TQS case, and connections in Leonardo is similar, the good of MMjoy2 firmware is that you define pins in MMJoySetup in graphical interface. 3-Define in MMjoySetup what pins are used for axes inputs, what for buttons matrix (TQS use a 3 rows x4 column matrix) * Here an example with Arduino (PRO Micro) placed inside TQS case. If whant revert TQS for original just unplug the 15 pins connector.

Not answering you question, but since Arduino Leonardo is based on ATMEGA32u4 chipset, why don't flash with MMjoy2 firmware? Since Cougar TQS is wired in diode matrix, is just set this matrix in MMjoySetup and easy to connect TQS wires in Leonardo board without any internal modification in TQS. With the plus that eventually you can upgrade throttle axis with TLE5010 contacless sensor in digital mode, what is supported by MMjoy2 Firmware.
