You can? That's good news...will have to examine keybinds again, must have missed it. I've been told this is not an option for the F-15C unfortunately. Thanks, DrDetroit

Yup, you did a great job with those tutorials. Help me out a lot! I believe you did a SU-27 radar tutorial that's just as well done. Thanks for posting those, even though older, they are still relevant. Good day, DrDetroit

Yea, I hear ya...time constraints are a pain. However, they could implement some clickable components in any event, like autopilot modes, gear, fuel gauge settings, nav modes ect...those components are animated in pit when activated, would be nice if those were at least clickable with the mouse. Although I'm sure ED would rather do it right than half-way. Anyhow, maybe one day a high-fidelity F-15C.... Good day, DrDetroit

There are some very good youtube tutorials on how to use the F-15C radar. Will help you tremendously. Bunyap has some really good one, so does this guy: [ame] [/ame] Good luck! DrDetroit

Don't know why ED doesn't implement some clickable components, if not all of the startup components and emergency panel, to the current F-15C build. The switches and knobs already are animated in most cases, can't be that difficult to allow for the mouse to operate it instead of just keystrokes. Not a lot goes into the startup sequence in the real thing, but would be nice if we had ability to follow the startup sequence in DCS as descibled below. Startup proceedures (E model, but prob close to the C model): http://www.f-15e.info/joomla/technology/engines/97-jet-fuel-starter Just wondering. Good day, DrDetroit

Nice vid, thanks for posting. Man, that looks tiring - I need a nap just watching it. I wonder if French pilots use the HICK (AGSM) breathing techniques, I didn't hear him using it during the performance - maybe a different technique? Good day, DrDetroit

The only sh*tty thing about it is that I always seem to purchase modules the day before they go on sale - always and exclusively! Oh well, it still very worth it. Good day, DrDetroit

I don't participate in MP too much, but when I do I jump into a DCS MP server...these guys are pretty cool - unlike some other MP servers I've been on (ROF anyone?). There are servers that cater to all types of flyers - from acrobatics to all types of AA combat. Good luck and yes, DCS is absolutly fantastic - come a long long long ways since LOMAC days. Also, the moderators are usually helpful, if not overly jumpy to delete posts. Good day, DrDetroit

Is that what that was? I heard something very strange, didn't realize it was a roar. When I heard it I was west of the FEBA when I called for flight check - just thought it was some weird anomaly (or I was hearing things), not an Easter Egg. Good day, DrDetroit

Can't wait to fly this mission. Great campaign and thanks for the debrief, very well done. Will help me with my exploits this evening. Good day, DrDetroit

Really? I thought my AI wing was engaging targets I setup in NTTR. I was referring to my AI gunners and the AI co-pilot in my Huey - those guys definitely shoot - not well, but they try hard. I'll have to check again reg AI flight... Thanks and good day, DrDetroit

Ok, thanks for the heads up. No probs my man!

Well once the CAP is completed you are told to RTB. You get mission complete once you land the AC (taxi to park and mission complete will pop up). If you cross the FEBA or into The Container, you will get mission fail, so stay close to your waypoints. Could be, if you didn't violate that airspace, the triggers did function properly. Good luck! Sorry, responding to the BE remark...just like the prior two messages. Somehow you pick out mine...thanks for noticing pal>-/

WP-1 is BullsEye (BE) per briefing. Good day, DrDetroit

How do you complete the 1st mission?
DrDetroit replied to USAFMTL's topic in F-15C 16-2 Red Flag Campaign
I too had to taxi most of the way to my parking spot before I got mission complete. Just make sure not to cross into The Container aka Area-51 or the FEBA. Sounds like you just didn't taxi far enough though. Good luck! DrDetroit -
Door gunners are functional, so is the co-pilot. This is an old old thread. Good luck! DrDetroit

Ah, I see. Thanks for pointing that out! Good day, DrDetroit

As stated, first mission is air start due to the fact that you're coming from home base and flying into the A/O. Don't hit WP-1, that will fail the mission...was wondering why WP-1 was inside the Gomer's FEBA. Had to fly it twice to get to pass. (Wags sniped me in previous post - sorry!). The second mission (which I looked at but have not flown) is RAMP start, which is the way it should be. I assume the rest of the mission will be RAMP. Pretty good 1st mission, the rest should build on that. Looking forward to flying the rest asap. Anyhow, did notice that when flights would communicate I would get a small stutter - not a game breaker by any means, but a tiny bit annoying. Not sure why, don't get this in any other missions (I have made a training mission in NTTR with about 20AC in the air and no stutters - lots of action going on). In any event, great work ED. I like it! Good day, DrDetroit

Hit the COM2 and then use the communications menu (\) to make communication with your wingman - COM1 for airfields. I too thought that just selecting COM2 would make the comms menu appear but it does not, you still have to open it manually (I use a switch on my Warthog HOTAS for both Com1 and Com2). If you don't select the proper radio then you will simply get no reply. Good day, DrDetroit

Wow, that is very cool. Love your setup as well! Should post some pics of your pit. Good day, DrDetroit

They Huey is fun as hell to fly, one of my favs. There is no Vietnam map per-se, but there is a Vietnam mod that is very well done. Can't remember the author..I think it's Starway if I recall. Check it out, will go well with your new Uh-1H Huey! Good day and welcome! DrDetroit

Only one sim that does that currently w the F-16C in various block variations and super high fidelity - with a dynamic campaign to boot. Good day, DrDetroit

What are the most realistic modules apart from A10 and KA-50?
DrDetroit replied to cba's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
The highest fidelity modules for modern era AC are the A-10C (not the FC3 A10A), Mirage 2000c (work in progress though - coming from BMS 4.33, you'll probably like this one like I do), Blackshark and the venerable Huey (one of my favs!). I think the MI-8 as well, don't have it so not sure. The WWII stuff if pretty cool and mid/hi fidelity as well, the MIGs too (not the MIG-29 though - unfortunately). Any module starting with DCS is a mid/hi fidelity module (ie DCS: Huey or DCS: Mirage 2000c, etc). Good luck! DrDetroit
