Love that we will eventually see the F-14D brought to DCS...the A/B will be epic and will occupy plenty of my time in the lead up to it. Now we just need to see the A -6E to help round out the Fleet and it would be very complim to the F-14A;)

Late to the conversation, but completly agree your old PLAT was awesome and a great tool. Would love to see a modern version of it. And your exactly right short of having an actual NAVY LSO with all the skill and hours of experience(which we've had on the LSO platform in VR and that was awesome) the only fair way for a non Navy Trained LSO to grade passes would be to use an objective tool like yours.

I have no insider knowledge at all but traditionally anything with a digital display is exportable on other modules...

Could we please get the new AI Hornet model added to the PG update so we can actually finish these Liveries. It is impossible to do extra details and weathering without the model to go off of. Thanks

I think your both right. I believe the Stennis you see is the low resolution free one. It certainly looks like that is the case. And I believe we will be getting a much more detailed pay ware one in the future. At least that's how I took Wag's statements I could be wrong.

The old system certainly wasn't perfect by any means. But I believe it was better than what we have now without it as an option.

So you are referencing an old video where Wags is demonstrating exactly what we are asking for and why it's so good and telling us this is a dead issue. That feature he is demonstrating at 1:43 in the video no longer exists and that is the problem until they do revamp the scaling problem. You may be running 4K but I don't think you understand the technicalities of what you're using. A single pixel in 4K is much much smaller than one at lower resolutions. So yes your ability to see objects at a distance is greatly compromised and you are at a huge disadvantage. You may not fly pvp on online servers I'm not sure. If you did you would probably notice the deficiency pretty fast. Obviously many others are having this issue as this thread is full of 9 pages of people agreeing that they would like a solution.

I also would have no problem and would fully expect the F-14D to be it's own separate paid for module if it was to grace the DCS skies in the future. Completely different jet in many many ways... With that said please bring the Sparrow Hawk HUD, and PTIDS display to the F-14B!:D

Were you asking me? If so I think it's a 75cm Sahaj extension. Not positive on the length. If you'd like I can measure tomorrow.

The top video looks like it's tinted just right. Your comparing it from an angle that isn't correct. Let's just let them come out with it before we start picking out details we think are wrong...

Love the new system I built last month! Don't regret getting the 8700K one bit.

Finally got my Base in and spent some time mounting it to the floormount I built for my cockpit and getting it all setup this week! Absolutely love it! Huge improvement over the Warthog base! Thank you Virpil for such a great product!

Of anything to potentially lose for EA the AIM-7 would be the one thing to give up. Not worried about it at all. I'm just excited to get it in any state.:D

First of all thank you for all the awesome work and great updates we've been getting leading up to the Hornet release. Would it be possible to get the Hornet Paint Kit released before the EA Release? It looks like one of our squadrons VFA-25 will not get a texture in early release and we would love to get to work on one so we can fly it when you release the Hornet. I'm sure other virtual squadrons would also love to begin work on their respective skins as well. Thanks!
