  1. I have tried it once, with very mixed results. Many applications survived, some not well at all. They do advertise support for those problem apps, but that requires much back and forth with logs files going and misc. stuff coming back. In fairness, it is quick and does most of what it advertises, just be prepared for a lot of support when it goes wrong. My problem apps all came down to the same thing - broken, unable to uninstall or reinstall.
  2. OK, then why is it being offered to the release version today?
  3. I just fired up the release version, and the module manager offered me DCS: WWII Assets Pack. The install fails with "Unknown module WWII-ARMOUR". Log attached. autoupdate_log.txt
  4. Count me in. It was used extensively in Europe for reconnaissance, so probably not a lot of fun for some.
  5. Too lazy to check the menu? it's under Mods ...
  6. Any update for the Mk III?
  7. That format matches the CD I have in my hand, and I just ran it at Bignewy's link and it worked fine, showing it bound to my account.
  8. Then locale might have been a better choice of words?
  9. Thanks! I did notice the panel on the lower left, guessed it was weapons related. Overall, I like the panel layout.
  10. I see some very nice features in that cockpit! One question, what is the device/panel above the altimeter?
  11. As a new Creator updatee, I just discovered the driver update nonsense indirectly. I was having a problem with Firefox and its viewport going completely black randomly after the update. After a lot of thrashing, I discovered how to disable the auto driver updating. After more thrashing with Safe Mode, DDU, etc., I violated best practices and installed 368.81 over top of the existing drivers. Problem solved. All of the 378.xx drivers I tried crapped out Firefox for me.
  12. Make sure you put them in taxi mode, not landing mode. They have a tendency to burn out with no airflow to cool them.
  13. Did you cycle the discharge switch?
  14. My dad trained there as an engine mechanic on the P-39, before heading to Texas and working on radials. He was amazed at the size of the plant.
  15. OK, I got through it, so no bug - just real fussy as to the timing of the clicks.
  16. I suffered much the same as you with the hat clip. I bought one of these: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=159647 Much smoother operation, and I rarely need to recenter anymore.
  17. The topic is "VKB T-Rudder Pedals", yes?
  18. I've seen it, and it's a new problem for me. It's so bad, I clipped the guy in olive drab and got stuck. What's he made of, concrete?
  19. Mission proceeds fine until asked to alter the flare count for Program B to 2. No amount of toggling the rocker gets the mission to continue. I've tried 3 times, being very careful to to register the rocker clicks. Another ghost trigger problem?
  20. I'd agree with that, centered on the device would have been a better comment. That's a far cry from the extreme left side of the monitor, unless your head is the size of a medicine ball.
  21. Seriously? That goes against what the manual recommends, which is centered with your head.
  22. I just flew the evening Takeoff mission in the latest update, stock loadout. Did the route and then flew over the lake, then north a bit. I told the wingman to RTB, then I followed him in. This is the first I can remember it ever happening to me, and it was dramatic.
  23. 1. It is on the driving band of the bullet, no other markings at all. In your second photo of the OP, it is the copper looking thing near the base of the bullet, just above where the crimp would be. 2. No paint or residue at all on the primer end, and no primer installed. It may have never been a live round, just a display piece.
