  1. I had this happen when I was learning the a10, and setting up my profile for the controls, just after take off, I meant to press gear up, instead opened the canopy lol needless to say I changed my controls, and left open canopy out of the list ;)
  2. I found it hard, I had to resort to labels as I had no idea where the pilot was, he's practically invisible. Once I could see him I had an idea where the threats were and managed to finish it, cheating in a way but I was lost otherwise..
  3. If I remember right, in that mission, the jet is loaded down with 6 mavs? Drag is high with that. As regards to the engines, are you talking about rpm? If so that's normal I think.. the engine operates at it's most efficient around the low 80's% i read somewhere.. ;)
  4. No bother ;) I have noticed the same issue on the dsms, with the gbu-12. I know it defaults to ccip, so change that in my startup, sometimes in flight I notice it's back to ccip, perhaps a bug? I have noticed sometimes when changing HOF on the cbu's it can go back to default too, even after load sym is selected..
  5. Gaz, for Ground speed you can use the ufc. FUNC then press Hack, click osb7 (I think it is) twice & this should read ground speed. Alternatively use FUNC again & hit 0 on the ufc. Think it's osb 10 for that page to cycle speeds in the cdu.
  6. Yeah its a good guide. One thing im struggling with is radios, getting used to what channel does what and to who is confusing, this helped a little.
  7. Ok, just tried it manually and I have it working ;) I will go through the others and see, can you check the v1 yellow windscreen mod for me please? It wont show for me no matter what I do..
  8. Well this is the thing, I had them all working fine, until I updated to 1.5.7.7741. Now none of the graphic tweaks are working.. just the sound mods to rwr & gau8 plus ricardos worn cockpit. Using jsgme 2.6.0 Nothing I have have tried has worked, manually putting the files in or the save game folder either..
  9. For me, the yellow windscreen v1, Pick kings 2.3 terrain, a few others from the 476th like weapon repaints, suite 5.5 tad mod & black hud text etc.. Not a big issue but these things add to the experience for me. Had them all working fine until the update, like I said I'm not concerned about the online IC issue.
  10. Adding the folder doesn't work for me, only things I can get working are ricardos hd cockpit & the updated rwr sounds. Nothing else seems to work atm.
  11. I have some mods that used prior to upgrading to 1.5.7.. and none of them work now. Things like the coloured cockpit glass, pmmtc 2.3, better smoke/fire and gau 8 sounds etc How can I get these working through jsgme now? I don't play online so I'm not worried about any issues with that..
  12. Indeed, what is the story about msaa and AF? Do they compliment one another? I must do some more testing of these settings, I'm very new to 2.1 & nttr..
  13. Are these your settings for VR? Will take some any try them out, I don't have VR, just trying to find a good mix on my system.
  14. Second the 1.5 gamma, tried it last night and it's incredible how nttr looks during a dawn flight.

  16. I have found that some of these mods are in fact a lot worse due to excessive noise, in some cases double that of the default textures.. I have seen noise levels at 1.0 in some mods whereas default is 0.5 or 0.6 I think? Values at 1.0 make the tgp useless for me.. once edited down it's more manageable but still nowhere near what it should be.. hope the tgp is fixed soon too.
  17. Sorry problem is fixed, I forgot I was using another app that would export the cdu, and it added a line in the cdu.init file, once I removed that, all is good. Nothing to do with ultramfcd at all.
  18. Hi all. I was tinkering with ultramfcd, and trying to export the cdu to my second screen. I already have both mfd's exported via lua file. Long story short I couldn't get it working really, so closed it down and ran dcs as usual. Now I have an issue with my right mfd, in that I now have 2 of them, the original one is still there, but a larger version is now over the top of it, and it still displays even when I turn the mfd off in the cockpit, see pics. What on earth have I done to mess this up?   19. I have a similar setup, how many frames are you saving by turning the cockpit ones off?

  21. This is looking promising! I have a second screen for my tm mfd's, would like to get rid of that and use 2 cheap android tabs instead, would save me room. Maybe another one for the cdu.. Is there any input lag on this application?
