  1. In real life the SPO-15 IS analog, and the lightstrip does move with signal strength, although not up/down in a very extreme manner as long as the aircraft is illuminated. In any case, not a lot of how DCS pictures RWR and radar is very accurate, so as always: take any information you learn from a video game with a big pile of salt.
  2. Thanks for sharing these pictures with us, I love the steam-gauged early 4-th gen fighters. A time when pilots were pilots, instead of pushing computer buttons and let the aircraft fly itself. And that lightly brass-colored nosecone, that brings fond memories back...
  3. F-111 и Tornado Gr.3 были вручную
  4. Not every N-003 is alike, as there were several subvariants within the N-003 nomenclature. Problems with the fine-tuning of the AVM-23 taken from the earlier 323D-III caused considerable headaches, with a smaller framework for both the N-003 and N-003E radar as a consequence. Later N-003's didn't have this problem. There are even "internet people" that claim that there were differences between export variants, although serial numbers throughout the former Warsaw Pact airforces suggest that they were all the same batch. My sources apart from the AVM-23 are all secondary though, so correct me if i'm wrong.
  5. Which radar system are you planning to model on the MLA?
  6. OH GAWD YESSS!!!
  7. The glass of the ASP-5 broke quite easily during regular maintenance, even after making it as thick as it was. By the mid 1960's, there was also no good reason to make it that big. With increasing combat ranges and speeds, the angle of vision that was used and/or was deemed necessary decreased. Only when the computer age started and people tried to cram as much information in the hud as they could, bigger glasses started to make sense again.
  8. The S-5 rocket family only differed in warhead, the propellant was the same. They shouldn't be very effective against tanks though, they were more intended for lightly armored vehicles like Humvee's and M113's
  9. i did a small list on this a while back, although it is by no means extensive (for example, I forgot mentioning the weird SPO behavior) https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3076819&postcount=77 For the extensive list, scrolling through the posted issues in the Leatherneck bug tracker should be sufficient: https://leatherneck-sim.mantishub.io , although some are more important than others
  10. SVTONY, you're presenting your opinion as a fact. You have every right to enjoy the module, and I hope you do. But please respect the opinion of others, that had bought a full-fidelity sim for a lot of money and feel screwed by what they currently have. Myself and a lot of other users would've never bought the MiG-21 if they knew that this would be the current and final state, well over 3 and a half years after beta release!
  11. I fully agree with Fr13, let us also not forget that the coders DO have time for THREE new aircraft modules (CE2, Corsair, Zero), but not to finish the MiG-21. Sure, I completely understand it from Leatherneck's and ED's point-of-view. Why invest time and effort in a module that most customers already have bought, when they can ask new money for a new module? Well, because the people that have bought the MiG-21 in beta, have done so to ensure the module would be finished. Magnitude 3 should also consider the longer term implications: Why would a customer buy a M3 module in the future, when they got screwed in the past? I don't know the current composition of Magnitude 3, outside of Rudel and Hiromachi, but would it perhaps be a good idea to attract an additional coder? That coder could fully focus working on the MiG-21, and get a revenue percentage of an upcoming module. That way, Magnitude 3's current team won't have a higher workload, the customers get their module, and opens up additional possibilities for the future.
  12. Chernobyl in the latter Can't wait to see what Starway will do with 2.5 though
  13. I don't know if the Steam description wants to make me laugh or cry: Key Features of the MiG-21Bis
  14. On the contrary: 292 outstanding issues, with only minor maintenance stuff done since the FM inertia changes.
  15. The lack of activity on the mig-21 for the past few years don't invoke much confidence...
  16. деревья еще слишком близко на взлетно-посадочные полосы Кобуле́ти и Кутаиси?
  17. You can do a lot by installing unofficial drivers, but the main problem with the GT72 will be heat. That will significally throttle the performance of the 1070. Furthermore, the i7-6700HQ is lacking in single-thread performance for the pricetag it asks. For now, I would forgo on trying to do DCS VR on a laptop
  18. Отсутствует МиГ-29 ФМ? И как вы можете судить точность из Китайский самолет?

For some reason I can t show my appreciation through the reputation system... Thank you very much for that document. If you find something of similar quality, please let me know!
  20. Come on, SithSpawn. You don't have to be objective, but you're making it seem like ED is doing this from a charity point of view. ED simply HAS to provide Caucasus for free. If they don't, they won't be able to sell modules to new players. It's really that simple. I don't mind a company from turning a buck, but presenting it like ED is Santa Clause and does it all from the good of their heart is rediculous.
  21. Can you ask someone from BST to verify this, considering a BST dev has explicitely said just two months ago, that the Garmin wasnt a BST product  https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3184255&postcount=866
