Would be nice to have the possibility to play a song from a particular object (mobile for example). I mean a sound that is not a radio transmission that reduce if we get away from the object.

I don't have this problem since years. And everytime I got the missing texture bug, I only needed to repair.

The D30 Late seems to be a D30 modified to be transformed as a D40. But the internal differ from the D40 (at least for the rocket ...). So that's why they probably share the same external model. It's not the first plane to have only 1 skin folder for 2 planes. The P51D25 and D30 have small differences. But they share the same folder.

The Spitfire use difficults instruments to reach to navigate. It request to make a lot of manipulation. But this is horrible as the brake control is always in the way. It therefore request to make move with track IR (or VR I imagine) to set it correctly without having the brake in the way. I don't know if there are a lot of player using the brake with the mouse control (would be hard while landing I think). Is it possible this control like most of the control on the stick can be set as not "clickable". Would be a nice addition in the special menu in case I'm wrong and it's actually used with mouse by someone. I take too few second to ask (again) about the compas control movement that is is still too fast to be used with keyboard control. Would be interesting to slow down the move (would be a good workaround too) Thanks

+1 Already requested multiple time ! To have a map in kneeboard that allow navigation. (Altitude view would be the best I think). I feel like that when I have to open the F10 map to make my nav ... This is how the old IL2 implement such functionallity. Really missing in DCS for those who like to make navigation with their eyes and skill not using the shortcut "you are here" in the controls. Would love to see something similar

I think these are "correct on lateral position" (maybe need a bit of tweak). But they would be better if they were placed a bit forward. Those are not engine fire but fuel tanks fire : -

Hi, Yesterday I did a repair after getting damage in a fight. After I land the plane, I open the cockpit (canopy and door), and I start the repair. After the repair ended correctly, impossible to close either the door or the canopy. I tried to click, tu use keyboard and joystick control. Nothing worked. So I took a new plane. In this new plane, all worked normally.

Hi, We noticed the following about this bug: For a long period of time I didn't have a lot this bug. I worked hard on one particular big map for a multiplayer campaign. And this map does not have clouds (or almost none). Flying on this map, if I got the bug, it's about 1 or 2 on 1 month. I can't even remember having it. But yesterday, I fly on another mission made by another pilot that use lot of clouds. And the bug appear again and again during the flight. After discussing it, we notice the difference between the map (both on Channel) : One have clouds and the other does not have clouds. Against AI Fw 190A8 British 20 mm seems quite powerfull. If impact on the right area, the plane is destroyed in a second.

Hi ! Don't worry about these, you already look at them and find the wing can actually break (I'm still surprised that it can survive so much, but I got a clear explanation). About fire, you find the fire effect appear big on small fuel leak. I didn't remember more. But it seems you told this was more an effect that does not correspond to damage. (But I don't remember a lot) I'll do 1 bug 1 post next -

Some control won't be used much in flight. So you can use some button instead of axis. I just hope that ED will take a moment to tweak the speed of the control with button because for some on other plane, you can make precise input because it moves too fast. -
Maybe a slight flight model difference. I don't know. Seems the D30 is a D30 early that get upgraded to D40. So it's hard to say. I tought the main difference would be the D40 to be the first to have Hvar as standard armament making the D30 a variant that could carry only M10 when D40 could carry both. But it seems that some people had informations about D30 using Hvar. So as I totally don't know for these, I let other discuss about. But about M10 it's surprising.

The schnellboat on my mission were placed long time ago. But I saw the bug after editing the mission and saving it. I think this appears after the update that bring few new functionality on ME such as the coalition modification. Before that I didn't notice anything weird (But I didn't look everyday since it was working correctly before). -
Bonjour à tous ! Joyeuses fêtes !!! Je passe pour vous avertir que nous allons lancer une première campagne de 10 missions sur DCS WW2. On prévoit cette campagne pour fin février. La liste des modules à prévoir est la suivantes : Channel + Asset Pack Au moins un appareil au choix parmis : Fw 190 A8 P-47D P-51D Bf 109K Spitfire (Les Bf 109K seront en nombre très limité et les Spitfire ne seront disponible que si il y a assez de Fw 190, de P51 et de P47). La campagne va s'orienter principalement autour du P47. On espère vous voir nombreux ! I use my double sent post to precise that all plane have particular ammo loadout. Ammo seems to be defined globally in game. Loadout is then generated for each guns of each plane independently. I never check, but I think we can consider that same guns have same ammo loadout from one plane to another. So HE loadout in MG 131 of Bf 109 is the same as HE loadout in MG 131 of Fw 190. -

It's not possible to see it anymore. But in files ammo are referenced as number. For exemple : 1 = AP 2 = HE 3 = Incendiary 4 = Tracers And ammo loadout look like that (it's not one of the one we have in game) : {2,1,3,2,1,3,4} This would be a loadout when HE - AP - Inc - HE - AP - Inc - Tr - REPEAT I remember we asked about what ammo was in each loadout. No one could tell us precisely. All loadout mixed all ammo in different number and order. Seems logical that HE have more HE and AP have less HE. But all loadout have all type of ammo except the no tracer loadout that allowed us to find which number stand for the Tracer one (I don't remember it). So just for precision from the time we had the possibility to see the content of ammo loadouts, all loadout contain all ammo. It only vary the number of ammo of one type we have. And from what I remember, the loadout are about 6 to 10 ammo length. So it repeat quite fast. => To make better test we requested on the discord to have the possibility to load the gun with only 1 particular kind of ammo. But it was never done. -
I hope to not have missed a post about this. But I can't find anything that tell the D30 should not have the M10 triple rocket launcher. All I have found is that earlier variant of P47(razorback) could carry them as well as later variant. And I found it was replaced later by HVAR that were more efficient (but still in use when US were short in HVAR). I don't know which exact version was the first to have carry HVAR and It's not the question here. But it seems logic to me that if previous and later variant could carry M10, then D30 should be able to carry them too. As I can't find more than my logical thought, I'm maybe wrong. If it's missing, can it be added to both D30 and D30 early ? If it's normal to not have them, do anyone have an explanation ? Here are few picture with P47 and other plane that use it.

The glide guided bomb is more the Hs293. The Fritz X is a guided bomb. I don't think too that Ju 88 use Hs 293. But I'm not sure for Fritz X. I more hear about Do 217 and He 111 that used them.
