  1. I'm not sure if it even happens that often these days, but if you lose a screen to failure 3+ years into your play time, then it might be hard to buy a screen that matches the other two in size but also contrast/colour which could be annoying. With one big screen that would never happen.
  2. If you want the best, you'd be looking at the SLAW F-16 all metal pedals. The VBK pedals are pretty good too, but they don't have toe brakes (which isn't a big deal since you use the brakes minimally in the A-10C, mostly for take off to rev up the engines, and then for landing). The MFG crosswinds I hear are nice and smooth too, but I don't like WW2 style pedals where you have to put your entire foot into pedals. (gives me sore knees personally)
  3. I'm really loving what Polychop are doing from everything I've seen so far. I absolutely love the idea of flying a small and nimble helicopter that floats like a butterfly and stings tanks like a bee :) I don't know much about the Gazelle or BO-105, but would I be right saying that they have a similar role on the battlefield? What are there differences, and should I be choosing one over the other, and for what reason?
  4. They might look like twins, but that's simply because they both have Armée de terre standard issue facial hair.
  5. That's the way I see it too :) At the same time it is also getting harder and harder owning every module that comes out and paying full price, simply because there are so many I know I will never get around to fly many of them properly. So these sales are great! I can see that in the future there might be bundles going for sale like a few WW2 Fighters or something like that.
  6. The difference is, many countries in the Middle East have voted these crazies into power simply because they share the same beliefs. France and well any other country are trying to prevent this kind of thing.
  7. What a terrible tragedy. How many more times will this happen before people will wake up from their politically correct dreams and realize there is only one permanent way to solve this.
  8. I would say TV for immersion of course, but also I think that 4k has so many pixels it's a little bit wasted on a screen smaller than 40". You might also need two graphics cards to keep your frame rate over 60fps as much as possible at 4k. Also I'm totally jealous :)
  9. Logitech 3D Pro in Terminator Genisys
  10. LOL classic.
  11. Doctor's orders I'm afraid :) no animal products to lower my cholesterol and weight to safe levels. Cheese being especially bad (that's the secretion I was talking about, as it's made from milk of course).
  12. yes please :)
  13. Would be cool to get 3 of these and stand them up vertically - similar to the Mi-8 windows :)
  14. Thanks for all of the updates through out development. I'm really excited for this!
  15. I hope nobody delivers any tuna pizza to be completely honest hah :) even when I did eat animals and their various secretions that still sounds gross. each to his own :)
  16. I'm not really sure what the solution is, but I would like a system that allows me to clearly see any aircraft within ~10 nautical miles. Obviously 50km is silly. Everyone has very different eyes, monitors sizes and resolutions so set it up so that it's comfortable for you. Playing a simulator that you enjoy is ultimately what will make you stay with DCS.
  17. I think large is fine even on a 24" 1080p monitor - You still need to know roughly where to look to spot them, it just means they are easier to spot now. It's hardly a cheat. For aircraft anyway. Ground targets look a little weird because you have roads and buildings next to them for scale. I noticed that trees stand out a lot in 1.5 - perhaps there is something they could do to ground targets that make them stand out like the trees do, instead of increasing size. Either way I think ground targets could do with having their own set of scaling.
  18. Or is leatherneck creating an F/A-18F? Cause that would be seriously awesome.
  19. That's a fairly common thing for me, and a few others I know of - it should just clip right back in if the little prongs are still attached - if they have snapped off you can put one or two drips of super glue on there ( but it will lose the ability to rotate, which isn't a big deal if you set it straight)
  20. Cool, well if you can get it to work please let us know :)
  21. Glad you like the headphones! I'm wondering if perhaps you need an external amp to get the most of them if they are sounding a bit faint and tiny.
  22. I would wait till june next year if you can - those new nvidia graphics cards are supposed to be twice as fast (according to nvidia of course). Of course you will always find a buyer for a 980ti if you can't wait till then
  23. It's nice old game - however I believe that since the gamespy servers have been shutdown there is no way to play it multplayer anymore (as far as I know).
  24. E.F.M Yeeeeeaaaah :)
  25. I find the Ka-50 being an easy aircraft to operate the systems in, but flying is something truly different, no matter what you have flown before.
