  1. Would love to have an XXL option for scaling in DCS 1.5 / 2.0. At 1080p I'm still finding it very hard to spot planes and vehicles. I know it might not be super realistic but I think it would make the sim more enjoyable (since it makes you feel like a pilot with eagle eyes). Although it's helping me keep my monitor clean as I'm slowling figuring out the difference between bogeys and last nights dinner splashes :)
  2. Is there such a thing as a pre-rendered 3D explosion? kind of like a sprite but 3D somehow? Then it might be possible to have something with this insane detail in DCS.
  3. I thought I noticed this too - especially in the external view the low end of the sound is missing to my ears anyway.
  4. ED have done an amazing job with DCS 1.5 :) Intel 3570k stock clock, and GTX970 and the instant action missions I've tried so far all run around 100fps, minimum 80fps when a lot is on the screen. Not a slight bit of stutter compared to before. (and my settings are all maxed out with 4x MSAA). Better graphics at the expense of gaining better performance - this has to be a first! I'm amazed :)
  5. To everyone at ED - thanks for your hard work! :)
  6. We'll know who to blame when the servers crash and ED can't upload the 1.5 Beta.....
  7. On earth, where there is water there is life. I hope it is the same on Mars! :)
  8. sorry if answered already - where do I get the 1.5 open beta from?
  9. I would say the Delan clip is very overpriced as well.
  10. who needs wings when you can fly straight up with that kind of thrust!
  11. The bundle seems well priced, but 35euro seems quite expensive for the Clipsi alone. I'm guessing you are charging for your assembly time more than the cost of the parts. If that's the case would you consider selling the Clipsi just as parts for the user to assemble to get the price down to something like 15euros? I think you would sell a lot more that way. I also think there would be a market for a wired version if you could get it down to say 10 or so euro's, since the trackIR pro clip is way overpriced.
  12. That looks amazing! :D I'm going to looking for excuses to fly with these on now :)
  13. what the!? that is interesting :)
  14. What's the big deal, I mean if the machines rise up against us, all we have to do is go back in time and kill the person that created them, right? :P On a serious note, I don't have a problem with automatic tracking and targeting, but I completely agree though, at the very least there should be always be one and preferably two human beings pressing the trigger simultaneously, so that the decision to kill is well thought through. Having a machine decide whether or not to shoot is just insane. I have to mention though, that I think the real threat will be in the next 20 years when nano bots start being used in warfare. A drone flying around engaging targets can be shot down by even unsophisticated weaponry by untrained people, and eventually it will run out of fuel and ammo. However with nano technology (especially if it is self replicating) that will be the end of the world. How would a normal person stop, or even avoid something they are unable to see or hear? Anyway I'm off to do my morning 10 push ups that big brother is asking me to do.
  15. Just curious, why is your logo a hedgehog when your company name is lynx?
  16. Wow! That is a seriously nice piece of hardware! It looks really solid too.
  17. 1.- In which version would you be interested ? b.- Mirage F1E 2.- Would you be interested to have later on an update the two-seat version, the Mirage F1B? A.- Yes (EDIT: but only if there is a reason to have a two seater Mirage F1, e.g. if the 2nd pilot is a weapons officer etc) 3.- In which language would you like to have labeled the cockpit? b.- French c.- English 4.- Would you be interested in the Mirage F1M as a independent product in the future? a.- Yes!!!!! :)
  18. good news everyone! :D
  19. That stream definitely changed my mind about the L-39, I will be buying it for sure now. Thanks for the stream - I'm super excited about DCS World 1.5!
  20. I believe your DCS World installation will be patched, just like it always is with the minor patches. I don't think any activation will be required for already installed modules.
  21. I agree, there doesn't seem to be much point having a bigger screen if you are sitting further away than normal. I'm currently about arms length minus the hand away from the monitor screen - so I imagine it would be similar in a jet (so that you can easily reach all of of the instruments from a strapped in position).
  22. You can never have enough load out options :) (even if it can kill your passengers lol)
  23. Hello, I'm curious to see if anyone might know the what size screen(s) to have in order to get the HUD and flight instruments at a size that is 1:1 as a real aircraft. I would also like to set the field of vision (zoom) to what is realistic. (for that screen size). With my current 1080p 23" screen I feel like I have to zoom in a fair bit to get a proper look at my instruments, but then i can only see a few at a time, and the amount of zoom feels very unnatural, meaning I am constantly zooming in and out in order to get correct amount of peripheral as well. Thanks!
  24. I guess the cool thing about PC's is that you can have a playlist of your own choosing playing in the background while you fly :)
