  1. I transition from 60 to either 80 or 82 depending on if I'm amphibious or land based. Prior to doing this you want to to have your jet trimmed well for level flight, which is constant. Flaps to STOL of course and make sure you are under your hover weight. Practice practice practice. Empty jet with half fuel and just hover around until you get the hang of it.
  2. In a system of NDAs and little information about such things. I get what you're saying, and it's my belief that's why ED enforces such NDAs. But DSC as a whole (when it comes to everything) is about those little details, think "oh what's that HARM doing there?" Or static aircraft in a video of seemingly no importance. It's that history, combined with circumstantial timing, combined with what I mentioned. Like you can't deny there is a cadance to a release, and that cadance fit that date. Coincidence, sure, in hind sight. Or not, but that's the beauty of an NDA. We'll never know. My whole point in all of this was I was reading pointing of fingers at Heatblur or at the community. Everyone gets a little. Am I a little salty it's not out? Sure. But I've more information since I was excited. Once I start seeing the jet more on YouTube I'll get a little more excited again. 4. I mean, maybe after the scheduled live stream trailer release, and live stream mission. Then the pre-sale, which, like it or not, has a convention of being around a month before release. Oh, and the announcement that press copies are going out. This of course all happening shortly before the historical first flight date of the same aircraft. It's called marketing. And it (drum roll please) creates hype. I get a delay, programming is hard. But don't just be all like "well we're doing it to ourselves." Because if we did, it is as a reaction to the above. I was just content until the live stream rustled my jimmies Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

  6. So, the ALWS works in the same channlization as it does in the Hornet and changing this value to 180 will give you a (more or less) accurate indication from in the jet? reguardless of how the AWLS channels are set up for the ground stations?
  7. As with all things in DCS the answer is when it's finished. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  8. The desg button on the ehsi page. I am not aware of any bug associated with this. Other than the TPOD not slaving there, but yes, the jet can designate at the Target point. I do it every flight Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  9. They are under HOTAS, as they are on the "S" part. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  10. Asking for the ability to set a static Time for a mission. So a designer can make sun/moon stop moving and have the same lighting conditions for the entire mission. Of course good for training at either dusk or dawn, for combat in tough lighting conditions. Or just to appreciate the lighting engine. Definitely not realistic, but has it's utilities. 11. OP must use the release version Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

  13. Another post said if you don't have the throttle set to a slider this isn't a problem Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  14. Great find! Thanks Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  15. An absolute axis would be great. Yes it is more in line with controls found on the more high end controllers. But seeing as ED seems to be going with realism over all else I wouldn't hold your breath on it Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  16. Install this mod. It'll give you the right coordinates https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3301138/ Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  17. Also, the AV-8B is perfectly capable of carrying the outrigger pylons, it just never did. The USMC choose to not use them over the potential for the missiles to damage the outrigger gear tires. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  18. The USMC is going to upgrade it's Harrier fleet with data link, JHMCS and 9X over the next couple of years Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  19. Yes. I have done it myself. You don't "take your time" seconds are crucial. Seconds are more bullets downrange at friendlies. Seconds are less gas and less time on station. You are proficient at what you do, and do so without untimely delay. Again grab a calculator and type the same sequence. It shouldn't take so long. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  20. Looks nice. But his data entry is too slow. Like, heater isn't pushing one button and putting his hand back on his knee every time. It shouldn't take you much longer than topping the same sequence on a calculator. Like, jester does this for a living. He's going to be proficient in what he does Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  21. Have you checked you key bindings........
  22. No worries, it happens from time to time that you can't set up controls in the GUI. if it ever happens just do this. It generally works.
  23. A1-AV8BB--NFM--000 starting on page 2-53
  24. set up controls from inside a aircraft. As in, load a mission, hit escape and do your controls there
  25. Is the canopy glare fixed in this update?
