  1. Yeah but the problem is times don't solve the issue. If you take up a couple jets with empty fuel tanks to practice you can run the tanker dry Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  2. I think this was an issue with the amphibious ship mod if you're using that Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  3. Probably this, yes. Sounds like pilot induced oscillation. Which happens when you over correct an issue, which leads to the same issue in the opposite direction, then you do it again and again and it's bad. I'd suggest a curve of some sort to allow for finer control of the aircraft. I use it for all mine and it works nice. Just be patient and let your corrections work. Trim the aircraft constantly as you show down into your hover so it is as stable as can be without correct. That will help you by keeping your stick close to center so you induce less error into the controls as well. Make sure you are light enough. And finally, try just an empty jet, 30% fuel, and take off in a hover and hold it. Practice just keeping altitude first. Then trying to stay over a line perpendicular to the aircraft and altitude. Then a true hover. Baby steps.
  4. In is first iteration,I absolutely agree with you. But the team has been hard at work making the shop much more presentable. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  5. Glad to hear it's coming soon. Thanks.
  6. I also wouldn't support opening the door for pay to carry weapons. That's a slippery slope that has no good end in sight. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

  9. I'm assuiming this is an ED issue. But at some point will the smoke effect from the Tarawa be removed? As seen here, she doesn't smoke nearly at all, if any. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  10. Capt C has a sound pack on the dcs user files site. He changed a bunch of stuff. Might be a good place to start https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3300537/ Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  11. So the KC-130 in game should hold an additional 23,000 lbs of fuel?
  12. What leads you to believe there is a disernable sound of the canopy moving? Is a piece of canopy glass on a slide moved my the pilot pulling it. There might not be any. -Shadow
  13. My understanding is that the throttle is the same. There are just some inactive buttons. I could be wrong. If I am, yes, I'm getting the radar version in hopes that we get that version.
  14. Does anyone know where I can find cockpit measurements? I'm trying to order a custom throttle for the harrier. But the company needs photos and measurements to build it. But I can't seem to find anything online. Any help? -Shadow
  15. Has there been any talk on making either one of these an official airfield in game? Specifically the southern one? They added a bunch of vehicles and a tower to the scenery.
  16. +1, I'd fly that
  17. To the devs/designers, Is it possible to provide measurements of the throttle quadrant in the harrier? I'm trying to get a custom throttle created for the harrier, but the company needs measurements and pictures. I figured the design team here would have those. If you can release them publicly, can it be sent straight to the company? http://throttletek.com -Shadow
  18. Not in flight at least. I tried this morning. The normal fuel tanks will
  19. A grand for a quality of a lot more than that. It's a very reasonably priced piece of gear. -Shadow

  22. He custom makes them. Sometimes u think he does batches when working on something and post about them like this. He'll probably get back to you I a few hours asking you to email him if you want something. If you want it I have his email floating around somewhere. -Shadow
  23. 150 USD plus 30 for shipping from Ukraine. -Shadow
  24. Uh.... Nozzles, hovering, bombs, hoover. But seriously, I had a question on how the lift over gate for the nozzles will work. Assuming the nozzle control lever will be on an axis. Is it possible to set the gate with click spots or bottons, then not allow the lever to travel past the gate without pushing a button? So, you press button, in cockpit effect is the lever is lifted so you can move the lever no matter where the gate is. This would allow use of the stop as in real life. Pilots don't need to look down to move nozzles to stovl and it'll be in the correct position. Just me 2 cents. (PS, that's on top is, don't delete the thread, it's a good one) -Shadow
