  1. Hmmm... Well if you're the ball, someone has removed you needing to be the wind. Then then you need to be the wind, you don't need to be the ball. Boom. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  2. Now I'll have to try this later today Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  3. Haha. I didn't get it either. But maybe, if I line up just right, I can bomb those two buildings 1.5 miles away from each other Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  4. Have you tested your theory? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  5. That's not true. Just look at the armament control panel. The digits are multipled by 10 Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  6. https://hushkit.net/2019/02/08/flying-fighting-in-the-harrier-raf-pilot-interview/ I'll let it speak for itself. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  7. Looking nice with that other bird Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  8. Is there a file to get the camo helmet covers again? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  9. You are correct there, haha I 100% agree with you I'll try it out and report back. Thanks, something like that is exactly what I was hoping for!
  10. By the numbers, and all things being equal and balanced around 500 pounds on stations 1 and 7 is the upper limit to of asymetry Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  11. These are great photos. Thanks for sharing.
  12. Given all the other limitation around using NVGs in a SIM vs real life, I'd personally rather just be able to see inside my cockpit without having to hit my spacebar. But that's just my opinion. But there is only so many times I can lift my VR goggles off of my head because I forget they aren't actually NVGs before I get frustrated. But to each there own
  13. ^ This If you get the lines on the HUD, switch to SAFE and press the Pickle button again, which will clear them. Then Back to ARM and continue.
  14. Ergo, there is no crosswind limit. Because there is no cross wind if you face the wind. You must be the wind. :megalol:
  15. I use the space bar for my nvgs. And I fly in VR so my whole screen is nvg not the to 2/3 like when you aren't in VR (different issue all together). I prefer the nvg offer flir, mainly because it's all around vs HUD view, which is very limited. I just to the space bar to look inside. I tend not to use weapons I need to look in the cockpit for at night, so bombs/rockets/gun and make use of jtacs for lazing or it markers. That's the beauty of this aircraft, the internal LST. If I'm going to use Mavericks or the TGP I won't use nvgs while I'm in attack mode. If you set up the displays for night (turn the EHSD map off, DMT to nite mode, don't use the TGP) I haven't really had an issue at night, even with nvgs on. But I adjust the gain on them so it's not too big of an issue. I see a lot of people complain about the mpcds not adjusting, but honestly the warning lights are a bigger issue for me. Get the low fuel light on with the goggles on and tell me how you like that. Or the master warning or caution. That blinds me, not the displays. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  16. This exact thing happened to me vs some SA-19s. I'm all like ”wow, these SA-19 missiles must be pretty small, that was a loud thump" took a AAA round or 2 also. Got back to the ship and looked around. Haha, not a scratch. "It was at that moment, that I knew..." Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  17. Can try this. I like it a lot. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3300537/ Or make your own. The BMS sounds were pretty nice. I'd use it. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  18. In the RWR page press OBS 5 next to the chaff program to switch it to P from S. Then it follows the program set when in the CMS program page. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  19. It's not. Those types of mirrors can be adjusted to view a different area, but not flipped completely up. They are mounted on a ball and joint type of holder. But it'd still be nice Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  20. I know it's a day attack, but given some pending projects around the community, felt the urge to share.
  21. If you do happen to release the pickle button before the stick of bombs is done and you get the four lines: Cycles to master arm to safe, press and release the pickle button, cycle back to arm, and continue. That will solve your problem Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  22. A bug, in my mind is something coded incorrectly, like the flight model you are suggesting. But we may have different definitions. I have provided two tracks for you, or anyone else. In the first I drop a load of bombs. You can see my control deflection and land with an asymmetric load. In the second, I land with an asymmetric load on either 1/7, I forgot. Track 1 Track 2 I did this to show that I "hardly ever [notice]" but that is my experience. I'm not doubting yours, I'm asking what your control setup and curves are to see if maybe it's that. Because my experience seems different than yours. And here is my roll curve setting. I use a Virpil WarBRD with no extension.
  23. Because we don't have the same experience. So it's not universal. And if you're reporting a bug, they've asked for a track. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
