  1. The point is or should be: it is much easier to create a fictional 500x500 miles map, than recreate real ones. Arent people asking for tools like Create airports?? Buildings?? Arent guys making its own TACAN or Beacons?? it is not that difficult to make your own charts... i dont feel it is nonsensical at all. in fact, In our squadron, we added couple of TACAN in northern Caucasus... Or made our own aproximation Charts for certain airports. Again... because I dont know how to make a poll... (mentioned already twice). However... If realism is what bothers you... I wonder, how do you play then in Normandy with our spits or Bf109K... There is a good mixture of airframes, which is really "unrealistic". If think, that if you make a concession, by flying a "fictional" war, why are you so bother by flying a fictional map. IF you bring A10s to Caucasus, it is as much fictional as any new map. A fictional war (which is what all Campaigns are about) in a fictional land, does not affect the realism of an airframe or the simulation. There are other really good simulators (ground) that explored fictional maps, and people are more than happy with that. I am really surprised actually with most of the answers! I would prefer to get few maps every year, between realistic and not. Than one every3 years... In any case, thank god, in case there are fictional maps, you can take or leave it at will.
  2. I forgot... My answer is absolutely YES
  3. YES NO I love to se our "mother earth" from the sky, but for combat and navigational purposes... would not be great to have even fictional maps??? The task to create it should be much easier, and the possibililities infinite! So, would you buy a fictional map if it has all your geographical requirements? I am sorry, I dont know how to make a proper poll
  4. South America is not only threes and jungle!!! however... yes, this could be a big impact, let see with the 2.5. Because if 2.5 supports wel tthe jungle enviroment... the design of maps should be really easy!!!
  5. DC3 or C130
  6. Is it already working?? ANy instructions on how to make your own scenary?
  7. Anxiously waiting for it.
  8. Landing vertically, that is the point.
  9. Check this... I did an extension to use with CTLD. You have many more options for JTACs and ground groups...like smoking, illum etc and even call for CAS (IA)
  10. Hopefully...
  11. I think it works (IADS), did you download last version?
  12. We could make a dinâmica campaign vs supertucano hahaha
  13. Indeed
  14. EA6 prowler?? Look at the tail too.
  15. Nop. At least, I haven't seen it in the NATOPS
  16. The use of water, although it gives you more RPM, your JPLT is lower... so, do not try to use full rpm without water if possible. If you have the correct weight when landing, you should have enough water.
  17. Ok, i didn't realize about just "fighters"
  18. Nop.. |i think the engine is not fixed after repair.
  19. Indeed Sharkey shot down a C130
  20. And waypoints... You can add TACANS at will... there are severla post about it (modifying the Beacons.lua, just adding one line)
  21. Hello guys. Wonderfull job here, this is like a new Sim actually... I have a question. i love the possibility of using the Engine Resource slide bar in the ME. Now... I understand that this try to simulates (in a simple way) the wear of the engines... so the lower the % the lower the performance. I guess, that during the flight, internally, you have a series of details, and data, crossing, and this % is reducing if you make a bad use of the collective. I dont knwo how you work with data, but it would be interesting, for us pilots to be able to simulate this wear from flight to flight. is there any way to get this information during the flight?? SO, long story short, I would like to start fliying let say with 100%... and during the flight, I had a couple emergency situations where I exceded the EGTs etc... So when i arrive, i stop the UH, and then i would like (via scripting or something) to get information aboout what is the current %... So if I get a message saying, your current engine status is 85%. In the next flight, I ll just put 85% in the slide bar... WOuld be awsesome for us squadrons to manage logistics, in our training, and campaigns. Is that possible? Is it planned? If not... does it sound "doable" or "interesting for you? Thank you very much
