Muscular memory from helicopters is killing me!!! hahaha I can make pretty damm good hovers in helicopters, but here... everytime i need a correction with the throttle i do the opposite!!! Time, and practice! I bet, with VR this should be easier... also, the lack of refs in the sea is much harder, I dont have too much problems with vertical landing in land.

Hello Zeus... First and above all, I am loving the Harrier, I have always loved it.... I am from Spain, and Lived by the sea in the south... really close to the ROTA SPANISH NAVAL AIRBASE... I have seen Spanish harriers flying over my head all my childhood, so... This is a great present for all of us. I am enjoying every bit of the AV8 N/A module. My question is, is there any intentions to make realisitic landing communications with the Carrier? I think it would not be difficult to make. ( I am thinking to do it myself even... via scripting). I mean this type of communications listed in this document. page 131 http://jyito.com/Master_FSG.pdf if not all, some of them, would be very nice addition and unique. If the answer is "no" I ll start thinking in doing something myself. Thanks!

I thought i even used the neutral side... my memory betrayed me and created some "new" memories. in any case, that would be a good addition i guess.

So... neutral side countries are not available for editing a mission in the ME. i dont know if this is reported, or what...but I thought it could be interesting the comment.

I solved my problem... but i do want NEUTRAL!!! I want to make scenaries where not all IA aircrafts are enemies, I ll report as a bug... just in case.

Done!! with little work, you can make amazing CAS flights!!!! I ll do a little example, very simple, for you to try with our brand new Harrier!!! (or whatever else...). The more references, you put, the more interesting... the Script will always look for the closer to the observed group. I have a picture, but I cant attach right now.. i ll edit this post to show you. Tomorrow will be available. Seems to work for me.

I have read the opposite... they do viff, in any case, ... i think, AV8, is a serious contender for close dogfight. Let's wait to see some videos and that stufr.

Let say, you are turning....and the guy behind you is in pure pursuit.... you use the nozzles, and he goes to delayed pursuit... if you are in the limits, o the IR envelope, you can force the miss. If you put yourselves into a normal position inside the envelope, you are killed.... i am also using flares, by the way.

I would like to see, one day.... that DCS can keep record of the aircraft state. Batts, engine, etc. You can always reset, but for campaigns would be awesome.

In IR enviroment, the viffing is very good to deny/evade IR missiles... at least what I have tryied... I am aplying about 40-60 degrees for 3 o 4 seconds... You feel how the angle between you and the missile/aircraft is augmented, when he is on your six, or when you want a quick firing solution, you can risk for higher nozel values, and you ll have an opportunity firing solution. Excelent for scissors, too (guns enviroment)

Taking into account her lack of speed, and roll rate... the AV8 is a he'll of a dogfigher, much better than it seems. The clever use of the nozzles, doing veefing, gives you a an adventage... i easily shot down, mig21, mig23, and mi29... With IR missiles... you can deny them the proper LOS, and you get into their guts so fast.... It reminds me the description of Sharkey Ward, in the book... love this plane. I find it ridiculous too... I use DCS without internet A LOT!!! When i am working off home, I do scripts, plan missions and do some flights... now... it KILLLS ME.
