Yes it does. L39 & Mi-8
-
From the store... Its optional... Its early access.. a beta... for test... I would assume other module integration would depend on demand.. There are 'no' problems with Servers... There are no shady marketing.. Where does all this negative hype come from?
-
Mi-8 as standard does not have GPS, it uses Doppler. Ka-50 as you know has GPS from a previous era however, the NS430 is, I believe, based on a modern GPS with multitasking, integrated avionics.

Not too sure of any relevance re the above but for what it is worth the manual is certainly BST badged, acknowledged and copyrighted.

 +1 Used a few bonus points and bought it (Same price of 2 pints of Guinness!) At first glance it looks very good in VR and is easily read without the zoom with my rig.... Looks way better in VR than 2D (just my opinion) and will be an interesting and appealing add-on for those who enjoy flying the Mi-8 FM which, to me is superb.. Looking good BST.... Great add on in my view... keep 'em coming..... hopefully it may be in the Mi-24 too somewhere :)

For some reason the aiming reticle is not centred when you re-centre your view, the game is but not the reticle seems independent... it seems to be directly linked to the headset position, not the position in game.... move your headset down on your face and reset your view and it becomes correctly aligned... for me anyway...

Brilliant news lads.... thanks for the update... :)

Maybe PC specification a factor in some of these posts? Yes there is a FPS drop between say the UH1H and GAZELLE, with me for example pushing UHD 3840x2160 with all settings on everything at HIGH & 2X MSAA and 16x AF, at BATUMI orbiting the airfield at 50' GAZ returns around 60FPS with the HUEY around 75FPS. Drop the resolution to 1920x1080 and of course everything is 100+ It is fine with RIFT as well. I do not see this as a Gazelle bug per se but as DCS evolves more horse power is required. Other facts to consider apart from heavily populated servers is that Helo's by their nature fly lower and therefore more objects are required to be rendered compared to say jets flying at altitude.
-
Good, you're sorted, it's not a bug or problem just airframe operational limitations. For the UH1H & Mi-17 there are charts to plan flights and ascertain hover OGE taking into consideration weight, altitude and FAT factors but I have not come across any for the Gaz yet. Maybe some one has... Here is an example for the UH1H...

And here is a HD video... The AP Hover operation and break when turbine stressed is the same in 1.5xxx and 2.11.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ma_iGg29mQ4&feature=youtu.be
-
I just did. See the below pic. As the collective approaches near max leverage with everything in the RED at this point the AP breaks off and if you continue the turbine will fail.
-
Just checked in v2.1.1.8491. AP hover, Altitude & Speed hold all work fine. If you're still having problems, PM me...

for info, there are still issues.. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3217051#post3217051

Warthog with 12cm extension, curve settings?
Gizzy replied to Mrmaverick's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I have used a 12cm extension with TMWH for years, mostly on rotary wings. I have never felt a need for any curves or deadzones at all. Once I reduced the Y axis for the Gazelle for a while until I ot used to it and then removed it once I learnt to fly it correctly. -
Mav, you are missing the 2 '--' Change to... .........\bin\DCS.exe" --force_enable_VR .........\bin\DCS.exe" --force_disable_VR Here's a complete line for one of mine... do not forget the "" "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\bin\DCS.exe" --force_enable_VR

Complete Transport and Logistics Deployment - CTLD
Gizzy replied to Ciribob's topic in Scripting Tips, Tricks & Issues
Looks like this is the case... tried different scenarios in all the Group Name is not acted upon in any trigger once the group has been extracted and disembarked... -
There are various mappings in the Gaz. If you map that control to a DX on/off toggle switch it will work fine. i.e. If the DX is ON the switch is ON, OFF it's off - if that makes sense. If you have TMWH put it on a toggle switch. A momentary DX switch such as found on many joysticks, TM MFD's and some button boxes will only activate the swtich when ON ie pressed. The keyboard command works as a toggle on/off so workarounds can include TARGET or any other software that maps keyboard commands such as found on some keyboards, mice, or Joy2Key AutoHotkey etc...

Been through many headsets including hyper-x clouds and none have stayed the course of very intense use bar Logitech 933. The Hypers had great sound and light but the cable failed after 3 months heavy use. I'm sure others experiences would be better I've mine for over 2 years now and they have been intensively used and abused virtually every day.... no issues, light and great sound... mic and software good - no issues... Of course YMMV though...
-
It was in the Mi8 I found out the issues... ha ha just saw the title in belsimek and just posted... doh!

Confirmed rope tears regularly even with the slowest of ascents, often no matter how centrally positioned and steady, no automatic pick up even after 2-3 minutes... exit zone and return 'normally' works

Agreed on the stutter... running with missions albeit heavily populated with clients, objects and threats was great and smooth pre-update. Now they are unplayable with the stutter and around a 10% FPS loss. Drastically reducing the number of clients, objects & threats stops the FPS drop and the stutters. At first I though it was the MODS... then after deleting them I thought it was the scripts and deleted all of those. It seems the culprit is none of those but the amount of objects and clients in the mission. Looks like this causes a CPU load issue which consequently does not feed the GFX card correctly.??? The blue cockpit link is not working... original files probably removed.. If you have the files throw them into a google drive or something and fire me the link... Incidentally Black Shark 2 Ricardo's HD Blue Cockpit is available with a similar blue colour and the same clocks... https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1766778/ but no matter if you want the other 2 combined...
