100% a lot. I don’t think Oki would be doable, but parts of main land, Iwakuni area, might be doable.

I would love this as long as it included Japan with Okinawa. Did all my deployments to Japan and would love to be able to fly out of there.

It will be released to the stable version once all the testing has been completed on the open beta. It’s usually a few weeks after an open beta patch before they update the Stable version.

I am looking forward to your red flag campaign Bunyap. A lot of the reason I fly DCS was your on the range videos. I do have two questions for you. I don’t like the Viper very much, I’m a Hornet guy. Can I substitute the Viper for the Hornet in the ME and still be able to fly the missions (any specific Viper cockpit switch triggers)? Are you planing to make a similar campaign for the Hornet? I would love to see the differences in employment based off your docs. Any way, I am looking forward to the planning of the missions and seeing how I do. And great idea with the Air Start push time via the F-10 menu. I dislike hot and air starts, but I know others hate cold starts, so I think this is the best idea to allow people the choice without sacrificing either. Well don indeed kind sir! -
I had this same issue, I was on the wrong part of the website. You need to make sure you’re signed in, not the issue I had, and go to the E-Shop, which was my issue. If you go to products - campaigns you won’t see the buy button.

This isn’t correct, the Reagan and up have some different features. Mostly with the island.

The pictures you supplied don’t show the shooter on the deck with the bubble up. The Shooter has a yellow jersey, yellow float coat, green cranial with orange stripes. He’s also an officer. The person in your photo is a safety observer who is enlisted, and wears a green jersey, yellow float coat, and green cranial with orange stripes. He isn’t the one that is commanding the launch of the aircraft, he’s just the safety observe on the deck. The shooter is in the bubble and not on the deck when the bubble is in use. The guy in the lower photo is setting the steam pressure needed for the catapult depending on the weight of the aircraft. When the bubble is in use, they are in the bubble with the shooter, and when the bubble isn’t in use they are on the deck using the controls in the hatch. It’s a subtle difference, but it is a difference. I’m just wondering if they’re going to model this or if it’s a bit too much. I honestly don’t care either way. Just a question.

I remember we had to change half of ours at 97 because the hooks wouldn’t release. Mostly because the latch had caused the hook to have a divot in it so it wouldn’t release.

Any word on if they will change the bubble when the shooter is on the deck or have the shooter replaced by the safety observer?

So I have a question about the bubbles being up on the SC. We have the shooters on the deck and the bubble up in the SC at the moment. This would not be the case on the actual carrier. If the shooters are on the deck then the bubbles wouldn’t be used. As can be seen here If the bubble was being used then the shooter would be in the bubble and the guy on the deck would just be a safety observer (green jersey, green cranial, yellow float coat) as can be seen here: Is this a limitation for the SC or something that might get added later? Just honest curiosity.

I have both, and I’m good with that. But if I had the choice of getting just the throttle, I would have done that. I didn’t need the stick I just didn’t have the option. -
So this jet has been in development for over five years. The reason I know this, is it was the only reason I got into DCS back in 2015. And from what I remember, it’s been that long so I’m a bit fuzzy on it, they stated that they had been developing it for about a year before that. So that’s six years. They also released photos of the A/G radar, 3years ago. Yet here we are still waiting. If it’s taking them this long, saying the Hornet is out of EA will only make those features take longer (Multi-crew, ATC, clouds, anyone?). Yes this is a complex jet, but ED themselves continues to shoot themselves in the foot. The complexity of the jet had nothing to do with them lying about the viper team not affecting the Hornet. And the phrase “subject to change” doesn’t mean at the last second we change everything and tell the user base “we said subject to change.” If they can’t get the docs for it, we get that. Just say it, and most of us would be okay with that. Bringing this jet out of EA, as defined by Steam, before it actually meets that criteria would further erode the already thin trust a lot of users have with ED. Unfortunately there isn’t any options to go else where, but that’s no excuse for ED and their constant moving of the goal post. This module has been in development, according the ED, for 5-6 years. AAA titles don't generally take this long, or when they do they don’t come to us in such a sorry state (F-16 ring a bell). I was actually okay with what shape the Hornet was when it was released EA. And I think that the progress has been good. But ED needs to deliver on their promises that they’ve made. This road map doesn’t do that. Do not remove it from EA until it meets the Steam definition.

I have found if the laser code is not on the DDI page, the Maverick will not track for some unknown reason. Not sure if it’s a bug or not. Just make sure you see it and you should be good to go.

This is actually VFA-122, I was there when they did this one. 125 merged with 122. Plus 125 never operated Super Hornets.

SO with this latest update, every time I reload a mission, whether it is a restart in the mission or completely getting out of the mission and restarting from the menu, it crashes the game. Is ED going to add hand signals to lock the wings?

So when folding the wings or spreading the wings if you push the wing fold handle in the wings will stop moving and you won’t be able to fold or spread the wings. You’ve actually damaged the folding mechanism. It’s in the NATOPS to wait approx five seconds after unlocking wings to move to fold, or wait approx five seconds before locking the wings after you’ve spread them. In the video for the CAT launches Wags posted today, he locked the wings and the wings kept moving.
