They've been testing lasers in this type of role for quite a bit, I remember seeing it on Air Force times on F15s & F16's. The F-35 is also quite amazing with what it can do...(insert spooky finger puppet)

I know that you and probably many others are fine with that, but if your thinking from a business perspective on an extremely late C model I dont think that would be the best idea, and customers would get upset even if it only took 3 months for a full implementation

I think, and excuse me If I am wrong cubanace, is that it is important this is a mod that he is doing free and most likely wont become anything that can give him anything back other than gratitude. The Fitter that he is working eventually, even if it takes multiple years, has a very real possibility of becoming an actual DCS module one day, do he is going to focus on this obviously. Developing a module takes a very long time & we all got understand that. Also sorry if the bold is obnoxious I just wanted everyone to try and understand that

Drone this, Drone that, Drone Drone Drone! The media spends enough time covering the delays of the F-35 you'd think that they would have caught on that it is going to be in productions for decades. Tom Cruise says there will be jets in the movie, meaning it won't be centered around drones or it will have some kind of fantasy jet in it (which I think would make the movie awful). Anyway he says the movie will have the similar tone which if it really does would be great!

Do you know of the major external differences? As far as I know the 98 was just almost exclusively an internal upgrade and some a SLEP extension. Its a mod for fun, he is working on the SU-17 for real
