  1. Anyone experiencing airbrake not working even if correctly binded in the controls? EDIT: looks like something changed in the controls Im having issues in all planes
  2. Wow, except for the grond handling, which is very different of course (breaking the plane is amazing as the suspension behaves very nicely) Im surprised how similar it feels in the air to the previous non PFM...of course out of the envelope there is a big different but otherwise it really feels the same as bejore...pitch is extremely sensitive. Also, the new cockpit looks REALLY odd ...it looked much better before...what happened?? thanks for the patch!
  3. THANKS BUDDY! and lol
  4. Can you guys give some info about the sound department please?, I was surprised it wast mentioned in the whole stream. thanks and great work!
  5. Holy s#@*!...it looks like I expected from HB! Incredible art work guys!, It seems like the rio's and pilot's bodies can move a bit as I see their backs and shoulders in turned positions, WOW!!!cant wait for the stream!, I will buy this module so hard I might break my PC
  6. +1, also all comments are gone :doh::doh: and there are some text issues (everything is full of "<br />" text for some reason...please, fix this ED!!
  7. Very nice work man!!
  8. not only in banks but at some rondom? moments I get the scan line stuck...also some times when starting the mission the TDC doesnt show the scanning altitude limits until I engage AA mode and then disengage it.
  9. September the 28th in my country since 3 hours now and no free weekend test...going to bed
  10. and can we know the exact time it will be available? thanks.
  11. Only in steam or stand alone also?, And again, how can I test it, I mean do I need a free key or something like that? Thanks both!
  12. I wonder when exactly will be available as well as how...temp key, open, etc... thanks.
  13. Thanks pal, yeah, I see also several issues in the external cameras...btw, found this little video showing a nice hazy noon at dubai, it shows how colors and fog would look: Note how the fog changes the color depending on if you look the sun side or the opposite...Directly under the sun there is a very light white/yellow-ish glare which is due to the sun illuminating the dusty fog in the backlight (this is already done in the natural DCS world haze but doesnt work for the ME fogs, the standar nor the dust and smoke one, where btw should be more visible) also althought is not a heavy foggy day the density and color of the "dust fog" is much lighter. Hope it helps. bye :)
  14. Sorry man but I dont think so...the wing vapour we have now covers the entire loin of the hornet which wont happen in this kind of "invert W" vapour...here is this vapour from another angle: As you can see its a mix between the LERX vapour and the wings vapour, closer to the slats/the front section of the wings. It has a very well defined shape that changes smoothly (kind of like the lerx vapour we have now) as the wind flow is still very laminar...what we have now is something more like this: this is a very "semi-spheric" vapour with not well defined edges that changes rapidly due to the "chaotic" vorticity of these extreme conditions in the flight envelope. That "hole" or space of no vapour in the loin is the key of what I mean (visually), another example: I know there are many parameters controlling the vapours but Im sure it is possible to include a couple of kinds more so we have covered the whole gamut of types:LERX only vapour (already done), low speed lerx+wing vapour (this would be the "inverted W" one), high speed wing vapour (the one in the first shot of the first post), extreme AoA vapour (already done) and supersonic vapour. They are almost in order in fact (in general): you start pulling the stick and you get the LERX vapour...if you pull harder you get the LERX+wings...if you continue pulling harder and loosing more energy you start getting the extreme AoA vapour. The high speed one would only happen at high speed and high g's and finally the "static" sound barrier cone/vapes over other surfaces when supersonic.
  15. -High speed and high g's vapour: -Not sure how to define this one but I would love to see this "inverted W" shaped vapour: Watching how nice the LERX vapour looks Im sure these are possible with a clearly defined shape as in the pictures. thanks!
  16. I never said you "don't share info on upcoming items", I have always refered to the future weather system and just the future weather system in particular...and same goes to the "it's not what you want to see"...Im interested in anything ED has to say about anything, not only the weather system, again dont know where that comes from my words... thanks and bye!
  17. The new option for a new kind of dust fog in the ME is GREAT!!! and it was needed for a long time, however there are many issues with it I would LOVE to get solved asap. 1- It doesnt work correctly from the cockpit view as it seems to be OVER the hud and has some ugly hars edges and clipping issues that are not present in the external views: Hud issue: Odd clipping issues in the boundaries of the screen (cockpit): 2- It doesnt look the same from external and internal views: Nice, realistic and SMOOTH horizon line in external view: Harsh line visible in the cockpit at same altitude and place: 3- Extreme orange color and luminosity even for desert environements, it looks odd...it looks like there is an orange light illuminating the fog which is too extreme...a slight yellow-ish/golden tone would be more apopiate and realistic and at noon even a white color would better fit. way too much orange tone and luminosity and it looks even stronger down low: 4- Clipping issues in the far distances at high altitudes even in the external cameras...the fog doesnt reach the horizon and thus a different color "bar" appears in the horizon making the environement to look weird. 5- The dust fog doesnt change its color along the horizon according to the sun position which makes again a discrepancy/mismatch between fog color and sky/horizon color looking unrealistic with respect of the direction of the sun (this is also happening to the standar fog): Note how the fog has a too white color for being in the oposite side of the sun in the horizon: I think this is an amazing feature that makes the world look more believable so hope to see all this sorted asap and with the best quality I expect from DCS. Thanks!!
  18. I understand you dont want to SHOW things until they look good enough, thats normal in life, however, as I said, Im not asking for showing anything but just want to get some INFORMATION on what to expect/whats planned because we know nothing basically. Is my understanding that this is a highly expected feature for many years now but we have never ever had any info about it...if you wait until the last minute to show/give info about it near completion, in my opinion, you better have a trully amazing thing between your hands otherwise many people will be dissapointed...and Im not doubting about ED doing an amazing job but not having any info in reality tends to lead to "hype" while explaining what to expect would set things in their place. At the same time, letting the community know (a bit at least) whats being done is, again imho, a good thing as it allows developers to, prior to release, know what people think about the work they are doing and maybe itroduce changes according to what the comunity wants...at the end of the day we, users, are the ones for which products are developed so having "some" info would be good. I wouldnt ask for any info if this would be a brand new announced feature because, obviously, there wont be anything planned yet to explain/give info about but thats not the case and after many years I think there should be something to give info about. thanks!
  19. I wonder if it would be possible to have some info on the ongoing development of the new weather system with its new clouds rendering and new features as, despite its been said to be in development, as far as I know we dont have a clue about what is the goal/what to expect from it and if it is being actively developed at the moment. This in one of my most anticipated features for DCS as a flight sim, as much as other things like new FLIR rendering, dedicated server, etc. The updated clouds look good, but a whole new system with several clouds layers, different kinds of clouds, randomized (based on weather data) clouds formations instead of perfectly spaced clouds units, improved rendering distance, improved turbulence and winds, localized fogs, etc. would be a HUGE sim changer making every mission a whole new one depending on the weather conditions and making a new level of challenge. So, as already said, after so many time without any info on this regard (and only knowing it's "planed") can we please get some info about this matter?...Im NOT talking about time for release nor asking for images or media material, just INFO. thanks!
  20. I just edited the first post with a few comparative pics...however, many of the improvements are not very visible in static images but in movement like the glass so take that into account. Bye!
  21. New version 2.0 with IC pass option and other little improvements is up! :)
  22. +1000000 :) I have already asked for this! It would make a great effect of feeling the wind arround the plane, the huge vortex generated at extreme AoA punching the wings and the angled vertical stabs...a man can dream
