  1. These are the actual tuning boards for a real YAK52 ADF located in the rear fuselage. So the freqs can only be set up on the ground i.e. a maintenance task.... funjob :)
  2. The statement in the manual doesn't mean you physically get the nose gear off the ground at 90 Kmh. The idea is to reduce the load on the nosewheel by applying some bacstick.
  3. See attached PDF may be of some use DCS ADF in Yak52oz.pdf
  4. Some cockpit warning lights, Gear, flap, Fuel gauge but thats it.
  5. Real Yak52 doesnt have any :)
  6. B737 Max .... Pull back Stick Houses get smaller, Pull stick back further houses get bigger.
  7. Starfire and Scorpion for me :)
  8. Just need Mirage III/Dagger and GR3 and FRS1 Sea Harrier for the Falklands :)
  9. If you hold the brake handle full on in a YAK52/CJ6 (IRL) at any appreciable speed the Tyres stop rotating and will wear through in no time and burn through.
  10. "Hello, Stupid question: What would happens if, during landing, you'd fully press the brake without pumping ? Would it behave like a car brake does when it got air in lines ? Or would it damage something ?" Both tyres will burst very quickly
  11. In my day we hit the circuit with 130gall of fuel remaining. Each circuit was 40gal :)

  14. Cannot Login at all. been like this for the last 2 days. Is it me or a server problem ? Cant even get into the main DCS site to lodge a support ticket
  15. The "Bar" is actually a mere lip. The coaming top actually comes almost to the very top of the Armour glass upper edge. All you see from the pilots perspective is a small lip. No massive bar. Seems to me all the various FS developers are using the same drawings that contain the same mythical alignment of the top forward edge of the Armour glass that is meant to "jut" up into the pilots line of sight. Its BS almost this entire lower forward edge lies below the coaming line... you just cant see it from the pilots view point. There are countless images and videos that show the pilots perspective ... but yet few Sims depict it correctly all slavishly display the Bar... then the inevitable argument about refraction is presented ... makes no difference if the bar is behind metal !! Go on Devs go find yourself an FW190 and go and sit it one rather than slavishly rely on drawings. There is a A5 in Seattle, An A8 at Cosford, An A8 in Germany and France. The rebuild FW190A8N's (ASH82) have a slightly different arrangement with the coaming than the WWII originals. They lack the additional finishing strip with attached lip that can be seen in the A8 images and A5 coaming close ups above. But even the new build FW190A8N's don't have this huge Bar. Here is an A8N I sat in recently: And if you want more proof the video from the the A5 at Seattle. What the pilot really sees.....not what we see in the A8 or D9!
  16. I wont mention the Bar :) but other things. It seems to me that both the Pilots design eye position is too high and Gun Bore line or revi reticle is also too low. Looking at most WWII images of pilots in FW cockpits their natural eye line would appear to be just above and parallel to the cockpit coaming line ... not looking down as we see it in game. The JPG below shows the standard view we see in game. The lower jpg a view more appropriate ... Gun bore line would need to come to be centred on the revi as well. In addition the leather coaming pad edges are way to angular and sharp compared with images of the real thing that show it as a smooth curve. Lower image gives some idea of what I think it should look like.
  17. Changs forever :)
  18. "Almost a Yuk" ... BS Dave the CJ is infinitely superior :)

    Seat height

The "Design Eye" position in the Hornet can be seen by aligning the Circle cross hairs that are etched into both combining glasses in the Stby reticle ... whether that works for you is another matter.
  20. Internal bug reports for both EZ42 and K14 not adjusting for gravity drop with range changes submitted.
