There could be different things that play into it, in a clean environment I come up with this number. Otherwise can you show a track/tacview so that we are all talking from the same point of view. EDIT: sorry will look tracks later.
-
~25knots Tested with and without ground clutter. This applies to an Aim120 that is in search mode, if it has a track it could be slightly different I determined this value a few weeks ago, but it should still be up to date.
-
I played and recorded the track up to the point where the engine takes damage until it dies at min 28 the interesting part starts, I can't see why the engine dies, he flies quite gently goes briefly into WEB and after a few seconds the engine dies, Temp have also been in order
-
It should have no speed limits
-
Eh yes, within 6km. I am making assumptions beyond 6km and that the radar does not show stationary targets because the resolution may not be high enough to reliably detect targets beyond that, let alone classify them.
-
That is the question, if the reason for 6km limitation for stationary targets is the resolution, the FCR will rather recognize a moving object than being able to classify the whole Thing over this distance = unknown moving object. If you get closer than 6km, the probability of a reliable classification increases and the FCR recognizes aaa.
-
I am aware of this. I am not interested in special sead/dead skills. It's simply about the fact that, as far as we know, radar can detect moving objects at 8km. And a radar dish that rotates quickly can fulfill exactly these parameters, as I said a positive or negative approximation that fulfills these thresholds is given here. Therefore, if the radar is unable to detect a sa6 in such a situation, it is classified as unknown. Perhaps there are also stored limits for this in real life so that the fcr can still classify the vehicle correctly Exactly the limit comes from the computer and a large radar antenna theoretically fulfills those limits for moving targets. As I said, these are assumptions based on what we already know.

Good, and a radar antenna of the Sa-6 moves faster, so there is the possibility of a positive or negative approach to the apache FCR in this case. so what difference does the fcr see in a short sweep between an object traveling over 6km/h or the large radar antenna?
-
Yeah, but the idea is that a large and fast rotating antenna breaks the "stationary" rule and could be considered as movement = 8km. Just a wild guess, of course.

[How to] Export displays like RWR and CMSP set-up guide - Jan 2021
Hobel replied to jonsky7's topic in Multi-Display Bugs
Can you export the EHSI now? Basically, this must be entered in your monitor config and, of course, your values for X and Y EHSI = { x = 1200; y = 1940; width = 500; height = 500; } -
Transportation of goods on an external sling
Hobel replied to Altair89's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark 3
Yes, let's hope for the best Vikher against helicopters absolutely yes. But against a jet flying fast over your head they are completely useless... With the Igla I only have to look at the jet for an extremely short time before I can fire. -
The basic rules are clear, stationary 6km, movement 8km. But I am still asking whether there are exceptions for stationary targets, especially for radar vehicles, some of which are very large with an antenna that rotates Good example of this vehicle here and this is still one of the smallest. Possible? Who knows?

Same here can't bind that one.

Basically the same result against ak47 -
Transportation of goods on an external sling

yes -
do you have a track, even with stupid bombs the result should not be so bad 200-300m is way too much everything should be done right
-
Absolutely Iglas are also more effective against airplanes, I've already caught a few in a quick flyby.

and what's wrong with the DCS Ka-50? I agree about the tail breaking off, and what else? -
Mavericks' crosshair indications ("shaky" vs "closed")
Hobel replied to wkth's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
The "closed" lock is ground stabilized, only works with TV maverick, 2x tms left and 1x tms fwd for "lock" -
so now I understand it, you just have to press china aft more often with Lau-88, like 3 times, then you have gone through all 3 mavericks then switch to the next station

Currently 3 Skeets are needed for a t90 tank, with the current damage model it is good for the cbu97 as it is. Other cluster bombs are another topic
