  1. It's been a while. So you would have to test it again, but in dcs it is currently like this. The missle can distinguish between tracks, wheels, stationary and moving vehicles. This means that if you shoot the missle at a tracked vehicle and there are only wheeled vehicles around it, the missle will most likely only hit the tracked vehicle because it probably recognizes the difference. And so on. However, if there are many other tracked vehicles around, the missle may not hit the initial target. If you watch the latest videos from Wags about the apache. There are short shots about the Apache FCR. There the targets are also subdivided between wheeled and tracked vehicles, so the FCR and therefore probably also the Lima seems to know these differences in dcs.
  2. yes this should not be, or it is a MP recording and it could be due to the network that not a single hit was registered, if this is still in the SP you can make a report in the Hind area
  3. at what distance did the WW2 airplanes take off and land from each other? there should also have been standards at that time so that the airplanes were not overturned by WT. Is it possible to take off and land in DCS according to these standards without much risk, yes or no?
  4. ah it is reported. thx
  5. I'm not so familiar with the F18, but wouldn't it be possible for the F18 to assign the contacts to a priority list? a hot target should be more interesting than a cold one and track it preferably or at least put it first in the listing. Currently it is sorted by range but the aspect does not matter It currently looks like this.
  6. Yes, a few more questions. In a fast lvl flight with MW50, the automatic cooling is not able to cool the engine sufficiently and the engine sometimes breaks down immediately after 3 minutes. So -Does the automatic cooler need to be adjusted better? -Or is it correct that you have to adjust the cooling manually when using mw50. -Or does the engine overheat too quickly in dcs with MW5O that the automatic cooling cannot compensate for this?
  7. And where do I classify our D9 engine? because it uses 1.9ATA, SL.
  8. okay this is an interesting problem, theoretically it could be fixed if the mission builders change the start conditions for the KA-50III in the editor. You don't have access to it yourself? there is a selection for this in the mission editor @Flappie can you take a look at it.
  9. oh nice, thanks for the feedback I was just about to have a look at the track now.
  10. yes. as in the real KA-50, as already mentioned an excerpt from the manual was posted in the Russian forum
  11. Same here, but I haven't flown with aim9x for a long time, maybe something has changed, the tests here are quite fresh.
  12. No. Track?
  13. Track?I had no problems switching modes with enable.
  14. I just posted a video where 10 out of 10 vehicles were destroyed. The weapon works well and reliably against the type of target in dcs, very much so.
  15. Basically agree. but 20 minutes is correct even in real life. not 40 minutes
  16. So without lasers I was able to destroy 10 out of 10 BMP2s as far as i can see, the laser probably makes no difference Note:the Targeds were not the vehicles, only serve as scale
  17. Thanks, the post is already much richer in detail. I will test the whole thing again in more detail and take your points into account. But what I see from your post seems to be the old bug that is back? I have not been able to observe this yet, will test when I get home.
  18. Track? I could also destroy apc without problems from 25,000 feet and more cep was around 5m
  19. I have tested it and the precision without laser is still more than sufficient for soft targets. so what's the problem here? unfortunately not comprehensible without a track
  20. Ahh okay cool thanks.
  21. looks good thx! But as an F15 beginner, I have a question about the TDC short and long. 4TWS>TDC Short = NARROW if I press TDC short in this scenario, however, this does not happen for me, nor does 3HDT TDC long for DTT. of course it is possible that I am misunderstanding or do something wrong
  22. After tests the D9 can handle 3250 RPM very well and I was able to climb to 7500 at 280km/h without any temp problems. It can also run 3250RPM as stated in the manual for 30min under 7500m without any problems. There were no problems in lvl flight either, I did over 10 runs of both situations for now all tested without MW50 @NineLine can you take a look at this track, the track lasts about 3 minutes. I don't want to say that anything is wrong, I've also done some pretty nasty things here and the temp display near the limit. nevertheless, i didn't manage to destroy the eninge with the parameters again within 3 minutes. can you use the dev tool to see the exact temps at the moment the enigne dies? D9 Engine Dead 1 .trk And this is a very interesting one this is an Airstart and the engine explodes after 20sec Without MW50 for all other tests, I was otherwise able to climb to 7500m without any problemsInstant engine dead after one minute.trk Of course, it could also be that the temp was not yet in the right range and that's why the engine Died so quickly? These are the only two things I have noticed so far and they have happened in rather unusual situations. but it might be worth a look to rule out possible problems
  23. yes under normal conditions I could not destroy the engine under 3min with MW5 but after that the probability increases very quickly that something happens to the engine Which makes me wonder why, even if MW50 provides a little more power, it still overheats so relatively quickly? This should be the manual for our engine https://forums.eagle.ru/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=59834
  24. To come back to this directly, I will start another test series with all the parameters. The last time was a few weeks ago but I couldn't observe any such behavior
  25. Not one track has been posted yet. What does too short or long mean? In that context. 3 meters 30 or 300 meters?
