What am I missing here? This thread is about DCS Mixed Reality? AFAIK MR is combinding VR and the Real World. How does that happen in DCS? Are you guys talking about seeing your hands or what? I'm confused..

It's been a while, so I don't remember how that got fixed. Sorry. I might have reinstalled VAICOM. At one point I noticed that the export script was corrupted. It had all the code in it twice. But I'm not sure what fixed it.. Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk

Thanks for the great suggestions. Do any of you have a sample mission that shows how to do these things? I know how to do some of them. And I am sure with some research I can figure out the rest. But a good sample is always a great place to start learning. Cheers!

Thanks for the reply ENO. I have about 9 enemy columns with about 10 vehicles each on the roads. And about 15 tanks in a battle on each side, so about 30 in all. And about 4 enemy flights of 2 and the same friendly flights. Also had a carrier group. I deleted about 6 of the enemy ground columns and 3 of the flights. And the carrier group and went from ~15fps to ~35fps. I also tried deleting the 6 Fire/Smoke effects that I had in the city and that didn't help much. How do you tell which Static Models are lower detail? Just by looking at them? Or is there some other way?

Ok, so I go mad sometimes building missions and then a few days later I'm pulling what hair I have left out of my bald head trying to figure out where all my FPS went!? I spent about 2 hours yesterday playing with my graphics settings before I decided to make a baseline mission(just a mission with one aircraft taking off of the airfield I was using. Nothing else.. And of course my FPS were good. So, it's my mission!! What did I do?... After some testing.. copying the mission, and changing the clouds, wind, ToD, I started deleting Static Objects and Fire/Smoke Effects. All this helped a 'little'. But once I started deleting some AI moving ground/air objects I got more significant improvements. And then AI Ships... So, I'm wondering if anyone had done any testing of what the FPS COST is of different objects/settings? And how do you manage the FPS? Do you 'spawn' in new ground objects with Triggers when certain enemies get destroyed? What's your method of keeping a mission FPS playable? :music_whistling:

If you get a version that works for you, don't change it. Don't just update to the latest firmware for no reason.. I'm using Firmware v1.96B with VKB Device Config software v0.90.06, and it's working fine. -

You can only join online servers that host the same version number though.. So your beta usually will only let you see beta servers, not the stable servers. If you have a friend on the stable version you may not be able to fly together. Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk

This is probably a dumb idea.. But can't you turn your head to the right, then center the VR view (np5). Then when you look left it should turn further.. On my x55 I could make a push, hold, release button to set the view right(np5 on push), hold it to look behind & check-six. Then look ahead and release to re-center view(np5 on release) . When you link an object it is locked to the center of the object it's linked to.. Offset fixation let's you move your object and still keep it oriented to movement and oriention of the object it's linked to. Sent from my Moto Z Play using Tapatalk

I'm confused as to where this NTTR Training Campaign is? In your link the only A10 campaign is The Enemy Within 3.0? But the Trailer is in the Causaus map? Are your campaigns working with the current version of DCS? -
I think they are doing a good job considering that I've read that this is a side-job for them.. It's just very frustrating when you are waiting almost a year for something you want fixed (TDC Axis). I think it was first reported last June 2018.. And it's been in a status of 'IN TEST' for 3-4 months!?

Just wondering if something has changed.. I just bought the MiG-19 and noticed there wasn't a number in the email... I keep a list of my numbers of each module to install them over the years.. So I looked at my profile on my ED account and don't see any License or Serial numbers associated with the F14; F18; AV8B; MiG19? I was able to install the MiG-19 no problems, but am wondering why these aircraft don't have any License or Serial numbers??? :huh:

Have you tried using 'Tempo B' for the button? I have a GF MCG MkII Pro, and the Default profile used Tempo B by default for the Master Mode switch, and it use that also for the Gate switch if I want to toggle Axes and POV/Buttons. -

When you are Adding a Button Assignment, the "Currently in Use" info at the bottom of the ADD ASSIGNMENT PANEL does not show the current assignment IF the assignment is on the UILayer Category. I tested this with the F/A-18c Hornet for days because of the problems that it caused!! I had joystick buttons that would let me assign them, but they would not work at all in the game! So, the game sees my stick when the button is assigned, but not when I am flying? I thought my stick was broken and took it apart and cleaned it!! SO, you can assign the button, but if it's already assigned in the UILayer, you won't know it has another assignment. And when you fly, the other UILayer button assignment overrides(is seen first) and your assignment does not work. Very, Very, Very Annoying... :joystick::doh::cry::mad:
