  1. Once again you do your own interpretation of things, and once again, you are wrong. Your explanation was not on point, like you said, because sparrow has nothing to do in the debate, we are talking about R-27 who has some technology that you don't have any idea. You try to analyse russian hardware without real knowlegde of technolgy they use. You have the wrong concept that if it can't be done by US nobody can do it, but you are totally wrong, you are just in an illusional world. Once again your are wrong because ignorant. The R-27 can be launch without lock-on, period. My sources says otherwise, but no problem
  2. And ?? I don't care about sparrow, it's not a reference, we are talking about R-27. Stop making your own interpretation of things you don't know. Oh, i lost all hope since a long time, to have something coherent/realistic for my beloved russian aircrafts
  3. "The R-27R (R-27ER) can be fire before target lock-on is achieved. In this case the missile receives mid-course guidance via a special link system to compensate for the target's movement until it comes within lock-on range. The mid-course correction feature increase the effective "kill range" by some 20 km in pursuit mode and 60 km in head on mode."
  4. Lol, the R-27ER has a lot more range, at 6000/8000 m, subsonic. The R-27R has rmax 50 Km at those range, if fire with lock-on, w/o lock-on it can be launch at even greater distance (like i explained previously). Now you can extrapolate for R-27ER.
  5. "The R-27R (R-27ER) can be fire before target lock-on is achieved. In this case the missile receives mid-course guidance via a special link system to compensate for the target's movement until it comes within lock-on range. The mid-course correction feature increase the effective "kill range" by some 20 km in pursuit mode and 60 km in head on mode." Do we have this feature in DCS ?
  6. And ?? what the point with your 60s. The only question is : do the R-27ER outrange the AMRAAM, In DCS like in real life ? (at same speed and lauching altitude)
  7. Nonsense, he is written the practical. Correct, you can see the word "maximum", but we can't achieve these ranges in DCS And when the US pilot said the R-27ER outrange our AMRAAM, he was at space shuttle too ? For the ET it's another story ---> classified, i suspect russian to have similar technology as ours (french) but like i said --->classified
  8. (book) Vladimir Mikhailov, general of the Army, commander in chef of the air force R27 firing range, head on attack (maximum) - 72 km (R-27T) - 120 km (R-27ET) - 80 km (R-27R) - 130 km (R-27ER) Perhaps somenone know better in this forum ?
  9. The R-27ER outrange the AMRAAM by a long range, since the pilot need tactic to get closer to shoot his AMRAAM. It means that the R-27ER can kill the bandit before his AMRAAM goes pitbull. Interesting
  10. What do you know about my joystick ? and why this problem does not occur with other non FBW planes, + the mig29 has a special dampening system.
  11. I agree, And is the Mig 29 in DCS able to do a fast turn in 16 secondes ? The test pilot is talking about that in this video at 3:14 and 4:05 (the funniest part )
  12. The main problem of the mig 29 Fm is the excessive oscillation on the pitch/yaw axis, it acts like a yoyo or a spring, up down, up down, up down,.... On some circonstances it makes the Mig uncontrollable, and kill all the joy to fly this fabulous plane. Dogfighting with this plane is very hard in DCS, aiming the bandit is sometime a nightmare. All real life pilot have said that the MIg is a very easy plane to fly, the opposite of DCS. Who is right, real life pilots or DCS devs ? This unwanted and unrealistic behavior need to be corrected.
  13. No, the hms is at the bottom of the HUD, need to be in the center. The LOS of the pilot is in the center of the HUD, not at the very bottom
  14. Su-30MKK done by DEKA, a dream comes true. From a financial aspect Su-30MKK would be the best seller, by far.
  15. Yes, it's way too low, it's not your trackir.
  16. Yes it is
  17. Is this a question or an affirmation ? If it's a question, i can answer, if it's an affirmation, that's stupid.
  18. yes, but as soon as the radar 's missile is active, the RWR must give accurate distance/azimut in real time of the inbound missile.
  19. Yep, think(hope) they are still WIP since the new ED API.
  20. Oooh good surprise, with new patch SPI works in AG radar now with EXP DBS submodes, great, Will test it. Many thx
  21. Hello LOop8ack, Will we have EXP (1, 2,3) submodes Thanks
  22. I understand, it's a shame. Aaargh, you kill me :), but no pb, i start to be used to this stupid imperial system
  23. Great, i will test it today. Can these values be adjust in the furtur to be 12, 18, 24KM ? And for the fun, i was pleased, to see "Km", it's refreshing Does that mean that we will have a chinese cockpit version of the Chengdu "fierce dragon" in the futur, in metric system ?
