  1. Hi Michelip, I believe BlackLibrary is saying that there is no requirement for an AND statement because you simply list the multiple conditions that you want to trigger the action required. Listing them, automatically acts as an AND statement. Now an IF statement would be very useful. I requested that in EDs request for improvements to the ME recently. Hope this helps.
  2. Hi All, I wondered if anyone would be willing to help me? I am looking for additional voice actors for upcoming mission/campaign builds. I would like both MALE and FEMALE actors, across a wide variety of English spoken accents. The following is a list of those accents I would be particularly interested in: American, Australian, Canadian, Dutch, Danish, English Old style RAF, English, French, German, Italian, Middle Eastern, New Zealand, Polish, Russian, Scottish, Spanish, Welsh. How would this work if I were interested? Simply PM me here on the forums and I will send you a single comment script to record, in either .wav or .ogg format. Send it to me via email and I will listen to each one. I will then select and contact those, that I would like to consider using for current and future projects. Unfortunately I can't recompense you for your time and effort here but I would be grateful to those willing to help out. Having been a voice actor myself, it can be quite rewarding. Thanks all.
  3. Just as an aside, it is also important to remember that you cannot obtain an external view of a static object. The external view (F7) only works with actual placed ground units. F9 works for Ships and F2 for aircraft.

Hi Cyberadje, Thanks for the feedback, I have tested this and cannot replicate my end but the following may help: When you encounter instances of this nature, it is usually linked to not tuning to the correct frequency and or not selecting the correct radio type. If you have had this working before it would suggest you know the correct procedure but I will run through it anyway, just in case: 1. Select COM2 (VHF Radio Channels) 2. Press the following UFC buttons to enter the correct frequency: 1 2 8 5 0 3. Press ENTER. 4. Select your VHFRadio AN/ARC-222 with your bound HOTAS key (Action: Transmit Switch - VHF in CONTROL OPTIONS). You should now hear the SAS transmissions, once you make initial contact via the F10 Menu.

  13. This is a Persian Gulf based mission, to destroy a chemical munitions facility. There are quite a number of twists and turns that will probably keep you occupied. There are random events included, which means each time you fly it things may have changed. It has been primarily designed for the F-16C but there are also ported options, for both the AV8B and F/A18C Lot 20.   16. I have been making another mission for the F-16C (Owned Module), I then port the same mission to other modules. In this particular instance I am in the process of porting to both the AV8B (Owned Module) and the F/A18C Lot 20 (Not Owned). I have test flown both the F-16C and AV8B versions, with very different results from a redfor AAA engagement perspective. I have noticed that Shilkas more readily and persistently engage the AV8B as opposed to the F-16C. I have tested this with similar altitudes and speeds on ingress and the results are the same. It's as if the F-16C is impervious to detection until almost on top of a Shilka. Whilst I am aware aircraft types have different radar cross sections, is there such a significant difference between the two? If not, is this simply a DCS early access situation? If it is EA related, are ED aware and working on it? Any responses would be appreciated, as these elements can have a significant impact on mission builders. Many thanks for your time.
  17. When mission building it is important to include GROUP NAMES and UNIT NAMES to simplify trigger actions. It helps you find them in the dropdowns when creating triggers. Select your aircraft and Make your Group Name M2000C. Go back into triggers and it will now be listed. Cheers.
  18. No problem if you look in the Set Rules for Trigger......triggers conditions and actions you will find the addition highlighted in green. I simply added: Condition= Unit Dead "F5E" Action= Group Activate "MIG19p" When the condition is met the action takes place. An activation can't take place, unless the mission instructs it to do so; via this method. I hope this helps. Cheers.

  25. Hi Nineline, I consider myself to be a minor content provider in the overall scheme things. I have provided over 30 tutorials via my YouTube channel all posted here in the old Guides and tutorials section. Others can decide whether or not they are helpful or not but I do hope they consider them useful in some small way. Your statement suggests you have contacted content providers for the provision of such materials. I can say that no such advances have been made toward myself, requesting such or indeed notification that changes are being made to the tutorials section for future reference. As someone who has taken the time to share useful content for all members of the community, here on the forums I consider the lack of communication reference the changes rather disheartening as I do not know what is happening moving forward. I have to assume the old tutorials section will become defunct at some stage...is that true? Also the materials I have provided historically, will they be moved to the new section or is resubmission required? Whilst new content is always appreciated please try not to neglect your regulars, communication can be a wonderful thing. Many thanks.
