  1. Scratches and baked on reflection removal. Instructions form part of the video: Download link Here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10slPXUMxW3F5jaxBba5DD0nzWz4f7wKg/view?usp=sharing Option2: Very slight tint with minimal scratches gets away from the sterility of the original version: Download Link Here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/185CjPVlYWRRPZapcFJ4oYP344Kv6F8td/view?usp=sharing Option3: Third and final option and my personal favourite: Improved reflective tint with further reduced scartches. 2. ED thank you for fixing this in today's update. It's not often these things are said but your efforts are appreciated.
  3. No it won't work in saved games but it passes IC if that is a concern. Cheers.
  4. Hi All, Here is a JSGME/OvGME compatible mod to reduce or remove vehicle dust. Simply activate your preferred option to either remove or reduce the dust levels. I hope it's useful. Cheers. Download here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nH1XdgG-52RTGkFYOGC7SrHn3kE8ylJf/view?usp=sharing
  5. I have a question why not make this truely random? In your OP you stipulated percentage values which means you will encounter certain aircraft types more often than others. There is a way to make this truely random as an option. Just wondered.
  6. The answer is very simple you can move your current "Liveries" and "Mods" folders from the DCS saved games location, to anywhere on your SSD/Hard drive. They are safe and can be moved back once you have completed the mission. Nothing is damaged or broken during this process and everything remains intact. Of course I realise, not all will want to do this but it was important to the ambience of this particular mission.
  7. It has nothing to do with the distance of the refuelling vehicle. It is based upon an airframes direct contact with the FARP.
  8. Are you wanting to eliminate the dust in it's entirety or simply reduce it?
  9. Thank you for downloading this mission and I hope you all enjoy the immersion. Stay safe out there one and all.
  10. Hi All, The single player version of this mission is now available for download. Please refer to the bottom of the first post for a link. Many thanks.
  11. Hi vstolmech513, Unfortunately you appear to have missed the whole concept of this video. It and the previous video in the series, was designed to provide information regarding the recent TARAWA OpenBeta update and how to make things work from a mission builders perspective; given the current WIP elements. If you watch both videos, you will see that you can only spawn on the runway (All AV8Bs). You cannot start from the ramp at the stern of the deck, it has not been implemented yet, therefore correct procedures cannot be followed. The video shows you HOW to launch a four ship fully armed formation given the current situation. I am sure ED are working on this entire scenario for us longer term. Cheers.
  12. Takeoff from the TARAWA as a Client with three wingmen:
  13. My pleasure. NineLine did say they were still "heavy work in progress" so it's going to take a little time following the core engine updates I guess. Cheers.
  14. Here is my original test mission. Cheers. SEARCH.miz
  15. If you are using metres set the value to 609 they will work then. 400m is too low.
  16. Try this as a guide: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4238798&postcount=6
  17. I have to presume you are using the Live branch of DCS, as in the Open Beta this is how the spawns now work:
  18. Additional Update - Cockpit Options A further update video.
  19. It already has what I consider to be an intensity level on x2 counts. 1. Volume of TNT and 2. Number of shells.
  20. Hi JagHond, Update the following lua file: me_route.lua Located: DCSWorldOpenBeta2.5/MissionEditor/modules add the following lines using Notepad++ as per image below: On completion start DCS as normal. When placing an aircraft you will now have the additional options of starting from the ground. Hope this is what you were after. Cheers.
  21. As can often be the case in these instances, the answer appears simple. You have set your Jeff to start at a turning point which means its airborne. Simply click on the dropdown box TYPE when you select your aircraft and change it to takeoff from ramp or takeoff from parking hot. Now you will start on the ground at Dubai Intl. That is what I found when I opened your mission.
  22. Hi JagHond, The lua changes required will allow most aircraft to spawn without exploding. Hawkeye was talking about amending specific aircraft parameters for those airframes that explode when using this mod mainly the FC3 aircraft.
  23. Hi, It works just fine for me following today's update (see below image).
  24. Excellent news this appears to be fixed in the latest release...Bravo and thank you!
