Sorry can't confirm that but here's what I experience, maybe it's a similar issue? "In game" and/or "in flight" changes to sound do make a difference but after a restart of DCS, the sound levels are different again. I now do a restart of DCS after adjusting any sound level as it is sure to change for me. Perhaps a product of ones sound card? :dunno:

Sure, there's two slots for two players, see the pics. Each player flies as a solo aircraft in a separate group, not a player with a wingman as in a single player mission. If you modify the mission like you did by adding another plane as a wingman in any of the slots for someone to fly, the mission will not play out as designed and you will not hear all of the voice actors sound clips. Try again with the original mission, player 1 selects the #1 slots for each sortie, and player 2 selects the #2 slots. I hope that makes sense? Multi player Single player

Play sounds button not working in ME?

Hooray!! Fixed in today's patch 1.5.5.60565 Update 5 !! -
I'll chime in as a third on this. A sudden restart can almost always be attributed to a failing or under watt condition of the computers power supply. This is the component to test/replace first.

I am devastated hearing this sad news. She was 8 years younger than I am. The first Star Wars movie, released in 1977 also marked the birth of my youngest Daughter. Our losses are a reminder that every day is a gift.

What are "MagRez proximity sensors" and how do they work?

Can this be purchased fully assembled and tested rather than a kit?

:smartass: I appreciate your post on the actual F-15 nose wheel system. I found your information fascinating and a good read, nothing wrong with bringing actual F-15 systems info here for us to read. I just took the OP's first post literally and noticed that no one was quite answering his question precisely about whether that key needed to be held down or was toggled on/off. Here is his original posted question: Strangely the discussion turned into whether the disconnect should be used at all, and migrated away from the initial question asked which was "do you need to keep the button or key pressed or is it a turn on/off". I personally use those two functions quite often (programmed to buttons) when I taxi, roll for takeoff and on landing the F-15C. It's interesting to see so many different ways people use or don't use those two functions to effectively taxi, takeoff, and land the DCS F-15C. So please, post more info on actual F-15 systems any time. Maybe more accurate modeling and additional features will make it's way into our module in the future.

Merry Christmas to all from the Old Fokkers Squadron.

:xmas: I don't think so. If you re-read the original post, the gentleman's question was: While trying to be helpful I'm sure, everybody nicely danced around the original question or provided incorrect information, opinion, personal preference, real aircraft specifications, or information that did not precisely answer the original question. So the correct answer would be: Yes, you have to hold the "Nose Gear Steering Disengage" key/button. It is not a press for on then press again for off. Whether one chooses to use or not to use the disengage key/button or use or not use the maneuvering range key/button (to increase the ground turn radius) is up to personal preference I think. Both are valid controls and are working in our DCS F-15C module. I don't think any of the answers here really properly answered his question but nevertheless were interesting to read. Merry Christmas all. :xmas:

Datek, here's another solution. Try changing GROUP DEAD to GROUP ALIVE LESS THAN and set it at 1%. This works for AI groups (not tested yet for player and client) and it can easily be noticed in your triggers and changed back to GROUP DEAD once this is fixed. :xmas:

Thanks BIGNEWY. Confirmed inop for AI as well. The simplest workaround I've found if people don't want to use UNIT DEAD, where they have to list each unit in the group, is to use GROUP ALIVE LESS THAN and set it at 1%. Seems to work for the AI. Well then, 100% of my missions are now porked between this and the Su-33/F-5E-3 bug. Here's hoping for a quick fix on both of these mission killing bugs.
