  1. To use the autopilot (and gun PAC) you must first turn on EAC.
  2. 1. Select Air-to-Ground HUD. 2. Select the gun. 3. Turn on EAC for PAC stabilization (and autopilot) 4. Blaze away! :pilotfly:
  3. CBU-87's in the A-10A? Completely porked! We found the CBU-87's fell short well over a year ago and for awhile we just "aimed long" anticipating the impact was going to be short of the CCIP pipper. Now, sometime since, they have completely porked the CBU-87's so that, even if you do hit something, they won't even kill an unarmoured truck anymore. Infantry are the only targets the 87's work on ATM. We have since switched to CBU-97's in the A-10A and although this is mainly a CCRP release weapon, we can get pretty good hits using CCIP starting from about 10,000 ft and diving rather steeply, releasing bombs at 3,000 to 4,000 ft.
  4. Try re-setting it to default, then exit the game and restart. Then you should be able to assign another key/button press.
  5. Thanks Devrim. I can't wait to get it installed and go for a spin!
  6. It's really looking good Skate. Sorry to hear about your battery backup problems. I'm thinking of putting a UPS on my UPS!
  7. Mission four teaser The Highway of Death Since we arrived at Mozdok we have beaten back every attack by "The General" and have inflicted severe damage to his land and air forces. It would now seem that he has had enough! Last night a large convoy of his vehicles was spotted leaving Nalchik airbase and another vehicle convoy is, at this moment, departing from Beslan. Scramble to your A-10's that are armed and fueled, and standby for an in-cockpit briefing. "C" models are now equipped with our new found TGP's so use them to locate and takeout any air threats in the convoys first. Here's our chance to keep the General from relocating these men and this equipment to another area where he can continue to terrorize the population. With a Predator drone to keep an eye on the two convoys for you, you must destroy nearly every vehicle to complete today's mission. Begin by attacking the Beslan convoy as it is closer, then locate and attack the Nalchik convoy. Beware of his few remaining attack and fighter aircraft. You will have one AI F-15C on call to provide top cover for your attacks. ...... coming soon. In testing phase now.
  8. Looking forward to any updates/additions to your English cockpit. :clap_2:
  9. BTW..... is it ever possible to recover from the inverted flat spin? I mean if you were high enough is there a procedure to regain control? Or is it a punch-out event?
  10. I'd buy that for a dollar! (or 10)

  12. There was once a green lamp on the upper right side panel that illuminated when the ECM pods were activated, but it was removed at some point and replaced with the "ECM" letters on the HUD. Now we have the new animated toggle switch, the "ECM" letters on the HUD remain but no longer is there a green lamp. :smilewink:
  13. Side: Blue Country: USA Aggressors Aircraft: Su-33 Carrier: Admiral Kuznetsov Bug: Multiplayer clients no longer get the ATC option to "F1. Request Takeoff" after starting engines. Single player as "Player": works properly. Multiplayer as host: works properly. Multiplayer clients: no longer is there a "F1. Request Takeoff" item in the ATC menu after starting engines. Must have happened in one of the last two updates as this was working before.
  14. Hopefully ED and the licensed developers could make more use of axis controls like being able to assign an axis to raise and lower landing gear and flaps. I hate pushing a key or button to operate landing gear or flaps when real aircraft usually have a lever for these functions. :joystick:
  15. I bought an LG 34UM67 34" Ultrawide a little over a year ago and have never looked back. Just set the DCS resolution to 2560x1080 and leave the screen aspect setting alone. DCS will figure that for you. Yes, standard snap views are invalid or improper for this aspect, so just make all new ones like this: 1. Set the view you want using keys, mouse or TrackIR, then pause TrackIR. 2. Press L WIN and the numpad key you want to use for this new snap view. 3. Then press R ALT plus NumPad 0 4. Done. You can also assign snap views to a button or switch/hat in the control assignments.
  16. Panhead, interesting info about the SKP-11 providing illumination at night. Is there an equivalent Blue side item that would illuminate a Blue FARP?
  17. Devrim, perhaps you could add this to the next update? The toggle switch shown below on the right side panel is now animated and turns On/Off the Su-25T ECM pods if equipped.
  18. My most annoying bug is the nose bort numbers being truncated on the AI MiG-23. It was reported over 4 years ago!
  19. Home Fries, No problem, I see that this is probably a better way for you as a skin maker and I'm sure other users will like this and see it as a great install solution, but... well, you see, it's the .exe installer that's a turn off for me. I'm a manual kinda guy. I don't want any .exe's installing extremely simple things for me. I'll settle for separating your graphic files into individual folders and building a description.lua for each and although it will take me some time and detour me away from "Steel Winter" and other tasks, I'll be happier in the end and I will still retain my skins in their conventional location. Cheers
  20. It's pretty much like a "what kind of car do you have?" option. I'd hate to be told that I have to buy a Chevrolet because someone tells me that's the only way I can own a car. An option to install these fine skins in the conventional way would be a nice addition to your work. I just prefer to do things manually. It's pretty easy to simply drop a folder into \Bazar\Liveries\ the folders there are not affected by updates and are never removed or altered by updates. I like to be able to easily change or add/remove any and all skins/folders manually as the need arises. I have but one DCS World install and a SSD with over 400gb remaining. I don't see a few megs of additional description.lua files as a problem which would be the only thing you'd have to add besides separating the .dds files to make these new skins install in the conventional manner. But thanks for these great Su-33 skins. I have all your similar Su-27 skins installed, in the conventional way of course, and I'll probably just make my own description.lua files for these if you decide not to offer an install option. Cheers, +1, and Reputation added!
  21. Love the skins Home Fries. Would love even more a conventional install so I could just put them into \bazar\liveries\Su-33 folder.
  22. I think then, it doesn't matter "terrain shadows on or off" if you have them turned completely off altogether? Can someone verify this, please?
  23. IIRC, Flat terrain shadows = Off (gives you fully rendered shadows) Flat terrain shadows = On (gives you simple flat shadows)
