I was able to solve my issue thanks. By going to Regedit and searching for every instance of 'DCS World' and changing the drive letter to the new location.

Please help. I can't install the MiG-21 after moving my game folder to my SSD. I get an error message saying to install the latest version of DCS. I have feeling that registry setting do need to be modified?! The only thing that kept from just reinstalling DCS instead of moving it are the joystick settings. Are these just saved under the User folder now anyway that I could just backup? Then I could just backup DCS folder under User folder, reinstall DCS, restore DCS folder under User folder, and have my joystick settings proper? Thanks

Take it from someone that has thought about why there are no DCS level fighter jets as of yet for a long time. The recent newsletter proves ED wants those that want a modern fighter to have it. It's just that they can't do nothing but work on the hornet. They work on other simpler modules to generate new income, and there is obviously a market for these other eras of aircraft. They know what's best for their business. It will just take more time.

The best thing I've ever read on the forums. Proof that ED listens to the community. I wish ED the greatest suscess. When that Hornet and map releases it will be the greatest PC sim ever made. I plan to support with module purchases until it is released.

Take note though, I believe you need to make sure that the back of the camera is open, i.e. not butt up against your monitor. Else you run the risk of possible over heating. I had to replace my TIR once. I think it was because I had it taped to my monitor.

Bugs have to be priority, but I accept that they need to work on new releases at the same time to generate revenue. Only because of the complexity of DCS.

I voted no. In a perfect world yes, but in terms of priority there is a lot more that is important IMO. I guess a third party that isn't involved with the core of DCS would be a good candidate for this.

I just wanted to post my own thread to says thanks to ED and Testers. I have created a lot of posts about nothing being worked on in terms of fast jets. 1.2.8 shows that ED's core fan base has not been forgotten, and they (as always) listen to their customers. It's a tough market, and ED still stick it out although sales for other genres may have more potential. So many updates, graphics, F-15 Flight Model!!!!, sounds, UI etc. Too many to list, and the sim seems new. You can see that there has been so much hard work and dedication to make the flight sim that everyone wants. The future looks even better. I Look forward to updates for the F15, Su27 Flight model, and of course the F/A-18. Thanks ED and Testers!

What the heck? Where is the manual? lol Has the FC3 manual been updated? It doesn't seem to have been, and there is new HUD symbology etc. Can't someone answer this simple question please?

The main reason was incompatibility with updated versions of DCS, making it impossible to maintain. I know that ED have plenty on their plates, but stats built in to the sim would be nice. Of course there are other priorities. I would like to think if they built it, they would come :)

I look forward to the A-90 and flying a few meters off the water in a straight line for hours straight. Please stop all work on DCS FA-18 and put all man power into the mighty A-90.
