  1. Without a joystick it will be no joy, no matter what module you're going to fly. You can give it a try without a throttle and rudder, but a stick is absolutely essential.
  2. Looks like you're right. I've been flying in circles over two ZSU-57 at an altitude of around 5,000 feet. They fired at me, but they always missed me, and the A-10C isn't a really fast aircraft. So yes, the ZSU-57 seems to be quite useless at the moment.
  3. They have two buttons with the same function because of the HOTAS (hands on throttle and stick) concept. The most important switches are on the throttle and stick, so you can keep your hands on them almost all the time. If you're using the LASTE panel, you have to take your hands off the throttle. That's not exactly an advantage during combat or high workload (e.g. landing on a carrier).
  4. No problem. Does the autopilot work now as expected?
  5. Just assign JOY_BTN15 to HOTAS Left Throttle Button.
  6. It's called "HOTAS Left Throttle Button" within the Options Panel.
  7. I've got the VPC WarBRD base and I'm using it with a TM Warthog stick. The base is a mechanical beauty. I can't say anything about the Mongoos, but the tax was correctly calculated when I filled the shipping address in. Handling & shipping to Germany was € 17.95 and the tax was at 21%. I'm very happy with the base. Really good quality.
  8. Oh yes, the Mig-21. That's good Soviet craftmanship. Almost indestructible.
  9. This thread should be closed.
  10. The A6M and a Japanese carrier would be great.

    F-104?

Looks like there will be a modern redfor aircraft: https://stormbirds.blog/2020/12/18/eagle-dynamics-confirms-mig-29-9-12-development/
  12. Strange. Did you try a repair of DCS World?
  13. I suppose you have read the post above you? So who cares about it?
  14. Nice pictures. Happy holidays to you and your team!
  15. My German isn't super rusty and I haven't heared anything about two weeks.
  16. Die Fangseile sind ganz knapp über dem Deck gespannt, da rollt man einfach drüber.
  17. Just started the ModelViewer2.exe in the bin folder. No problems here. Latest open beta. It takes something like 1 minute to start, even with an ssd and 32 GB of RAM, but it works fine.
  18. You're absolutely right, but the most modern clickable redfor aircraft we have in DCS today is the Mig-19 and Mig-21. So the Mig-29 would be a huge step in performance, even if it will be an A variant.
  19. That's good news. It's about time to have a more modern Russian aircraft to compete with the F-14, F-16 and F-18.
  20. Sorry. I didn't express correctly. I meant coding not modelling. The_Fragger already posted many pictures but I never read anything about coding.
  21. Nice modelling! Any news about RAZBAM? Did they already start programming the BO or is it just 'in the pipeline'?
  22. Looking good! It's an aircraft I'll certainly buy, as soon as it's on early access.
  23. I think, it's not the only issue the new forum has got. In my opinion it's still am mess, compared to the old forum.
  24. That's exactly what I wanted to ask Wrightie. You don't have to post here in order to fly in DCS-World.
