  1. I'm using the WarBRD base with a TM F-16 and F/A-18 stick. Both work just fine - much better than with the original TM Warthog base.
  2. Never noticed any windshield wipers in my modules. Are you talking about choppers?
  3. I'm using the original Warthog stick and the F/A-18 stick with the TM base an with a Virpil base. No problems with both sticks on both bases.
  4. Just tested it in the stable version. Same problem.
  5. Used AGM-65 against heavy choppers from time to time. Probably not realistic at all, but quite effective in DCS World.
  6. Just placed an A-10C II in a new mission at Gudauta airfield in latest open beta. Is the A-10C II installed and enabled in the Module Manager? Did you already try a repair of DCS World?
  7. https://virpil-controls.eu/vpc-warbrd-base.html Quote from the Virpil WarBRD details: 'While it is possible to use extensions on the VPC WarBRD base, it is primarily designed for non-extended use. Due to the large deflection angle it is possible that you may encounter clearance issues between the grip and the VPC Desk Mount. During certain maneuvers it could be possible to damage your grip by hitting the desk mount. The included cams and springs are also tailored for non-extended setups. Using any extensions on the VPC WarBRD is at the user's responsibility. Any damages caused to VPC devices (grips) by using an extension on the VPC WarBRD base will not be covered under warranty. There is no concern to the VPC WarBRD itself when using extensions.'
  8. No problem here (attached image). Where do you encounter the problem? Version (open beta or stable), which map?
  9. Could you please explain, what a 'm4 mask zone' stands for?
  10. PRE EA... I can already hear all the kids whining: 'I paid for it - so it has to be bug-free!!! And I want it NOW!!!' We already have lots of problems with EA. Don't even want to think about a PRE EA release.
  11. In my opinion the WarBRD has the best mechanics. The VKB isn't really worse, but I had bought the Gunfighter Mk. I and wasn't really amused, when VKB simply modified the 3-pin-connector, with the new version not being compatible to the old one. You also have to use adapters for the TM Warthog or TM F/A-18 stick, so in the end I sold my Gunfighter an got a WarBRD. Absolutely happy with it. Just take a look at the mechanics. It's a beauty. :smilewink:
  12. Button 5 works fine on my A-10C II. No mods installed. I'm using the TM Warthog stick and throttle, together with VKB pedals and TrackIR 5. Maybe you could try resetting to default. Mark the stick-category and press "Reset category to default". Then create a new profile for the stick. It's quite some work to do, but maybe it clears your problem.

    F-104?

The F-104 would be great to intercept a group of Bears (Tu-95) at high altitude. It was quite a widowmaker for the German and Italian pilots, but only because we forced an interceptor into the air-to-ground role. Would be an instant buy for me, too.
  14. I understand your arguments very well but: We have an A-10C and we recently got the A-10C II. Why didn't ED release an A-10A with a clickable cockpit? Maybe not so many customers interested for the A version than for the most modern one with HMCS, AGM-65L, GBU-54, APKWS. Take a look at my thread from September 2016: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=178575&highlight=A-10A Only 10 answers to my request for a clickable A-10A. Why should ED or any 3rd party producer want to release older F/A-18 or F-16 versions than we have in DCS World today? You say the F-14 versions seem to sell extremely well. Your source of information?
  15. Build an F-16 throttle in the quality and size of a TM Warthog and I'll be a new customer.
  16. Hey Jack! Will you update your skin for the A-10C II?
  17. +1. TrackIR is simply the best. No problems at all once you have created a good profile: Used ED Tracker Pro before. Only 3 DoF and after something like 15 minutes it starts drifting. No joy...
  18. In theory, there should be a difference (300 MB/s vs. 600 MB/s). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_ATA#3.0 Can't say anything about Syria. After the Normandy map I didn't feel the need for another map from Ugra Media. Maybe increasing the preload-radius could help. Don't think SATA is your problem, but I don't know what your hardware consists of.
  19. Just login on https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/ then the price will be corrected at checkout.
  20. Throttles findest du auch hier: https://www.kanttorinkone.com/console.html für 580€ plus Versand. Ich habe aber keine Erfahrungen damit gemacht, sondern nur darüber gelesen.
  21. Thanks! That was the reason of my question in post #1 of the thread. :)
  22. Da gibt es auch noch Winwing: https://www.winwing.cn/en/JOYSTICK Die Verarbeitung soll gut sein. Hab aber keine eigenen Erfahrungen damit.
