  1. Dont know if posted before, but was sniffing around for some Gulf War typical loadouts, and came across this site. https://www.dstorm.eu/pages/loadout/loadout.html
  2. The Rockeyes detonate below the FARP surface. Mk. 82 (as a control test) detonate on top. Edit: Should maybe say, that when the terrain surface is a given distance below the FARP surface, then the Rockeyes have little to no effect, because they detonate on the terrain surface, but if the FARP surface is close to the terrain surface, then you can take out vehicles etc. This was in DCS 2.5.4.30386 Open Beta
  3. Hmm, just in flying VR myself atm, and to my surprise, what I wrote is not entirely accurate. It works in yaw (left/right), but not in pitch (up/down).
  4. Cant save any VR orientation in DCS, as in snap views (only position). But can tilt the head up/down/left/right and recenter (VR recenter key binding under UI-Layer), until in a comfortable position or angle.
  5. Isnt that a general DCS thing?
  6. We almost made it 1 page... almost.
  7. Not that Im aware of, but if you cant see a difference, maybe its not worth that extra performance cost.
  8. And: - From this post
  9. Classic 70's A and then a hole string of 70s Navy liveries.
  10. Just tucking this in here real quick.
  11. On Just Dogfights there is a guns only arena https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=183942
  12. Im quite intrigued about such a parameter for the weapons in DCS actually, that they have a risk of just going dud on you. And when not flying, you could entertain yourself with threads about given coalition bias, hehe.
  13. Could be the MiG-21 that has the bug, since there are different 'heat' values for afterburner on and off.
  14. Very good read, thx for sharing. That was a lot of Sparrows gone garbage, and a lot of misses.
  15. Indeed, and Wags said next Hornet updates roll out May 8th.
  16. You 'just' have to be very accurate with all the parameters. Dive angle, release height and a release speed being the most important ones. Deviate with one of those and the low drag bombs fall short/long. Add to all this, wind. Does not take much wind to alter their flight path, be it crosswind or head / tail wind. Since wind is such a big factor, then I note down wind direction and speed, and when preparing for my delivery or deliveries, I set my HSI course needle to wind direction. Gives me a better visual on how much I have to compensate for wind. With about 3-4 kts crosswind already, its enough at a 2000 feet release, to push the bombs off target by about 30 feet.
  17. That nose art though. Quick google. Donna Ewin was a 80's glamour model.
  18. Well there is this one: ..\Mods\aircraft\F14\Docs Not sure how up to date that one is, compared to the online one?
  19. Ah, excellent. Thx. I had totally abandoned watching replays in VR, cause it was immensely nauseating without that trick.
  20. Like just going F2 and F1?
  21. Oooh, as a Dane I can only give this my  But, 80-90% of the featured terrain is pancake flat, like Normandy flat, so that part is a bit boring.
  22. Hehe yep, that gets you sick real fast :) Isnt a specific module issue, is a general DCS thing. Happens in all modules.
