  1. Yep. Tanker streams both baskets when intention to refuel. Left basket is "active".
  2. Seems to be fixed now.
  3. You may want to check the texture name. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3741694&postcount=6
  4. That was from 1F-5E-1 page 5-12 change 6. 1978 Original - Page 5-10: In addition to the fixed ballast, approximately 80 pounds of variable ballast... nose section can accommodate aprox. 240 pounds of fixed, variable or future growth ballast. 1-1B-40 should be consulted for exact amount of ballast lead weight to be installed. So variable as in how many plates you want in the nose.
  5. There is fixed nose ballast and variable nose ballast. NOSE BALLAST [E][E-2] T.O. 1F-5E-594 J and [E-1][E-3] In addition to the fixed nose ballast, additional variable nose ballast must be installed when inboard pylon fuel tanks are carried. A1-8 weight 15,170 (W/BALLAST) includes the fixed nose ballast, so 15,170 is the gross weight. Variable nose ballast must be added to that when inboard pylon fuel tanks are carried... We already know pylons are currently weightless, so it seems likely the additional variable nose ballast is also absent.
  6. They are aware of the weightless pylons. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3193297&postcount=10
  7. You should be able to find it at avialogs, mach one manuals or eflightmanuals.
  8. Not anymore, they fixed it.
  9. Su-22 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_of_Sidra_incident_(1981) MiG-23 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1989_air_battle_near_Tobruk
  10. Try the SCALE knob.
  11. It does. Just find the original position that would be zero if the standby horizon was upright. In short, turn the knob until you can pull to cage. It works even if toppled.
  12. Yes I did write about it some time ago. And nothing in that post supports your statement.
  13. Make sure miniature aircraft position relative to horizon bar is zero before pulling.
  14. Source for this knowledge? It contradicts available documentation, as in "The audio tone of either missile is activated or shut off by the corresponding wingtip armament position selector switch without arming the missile. With both wingtip switches up, only the tone from left missile is audible."
  15. Happens here too. Just tested with a custom loadout. Seems the 82 and 82SE still attach pylons to bomb's centerline. 83 84 and 117 look good. ord TEST.trk
  16. Number of degrees to turn. 360= full circle, 720= 2 circles etc. May not apply to certain maneuvers?
  17. IIRC two common causes were 1. not waiting until script has loaded before selecting client slot 2. not re-running the do script file trigger after modifying the target units
  18. Make sure the coalition has the correct countries?
  19. Say you have more than one target in your field of view. If you uncage first then get a lock tone, which target did the seeker lock on?
  20. No argument, of course. Just that it does not get any clearer than this. As a sidenote, I would ask the devs: demonstrate where in any manual is stated that the 'Guns, Missile & Camera' switch controls the audibility of the AIM-9 tone.
  21. The Dagger is far more relevant to the Falklands conflict. I would like to see the MIIIEA too, but if I have to pick one, Dagger it is.
  22. Clearer than "The audio tone of either missile is activated or shut off by the corresponding wingtip armament position selector switch without arming the missile. With both wingtip switches up, only the tone from left missile is audible."? Interestingly enough, the quote is from the same manual ED considers to be a reliable source when justifying the RWR logic.
  23. Was discussed before here https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=197627&highlight=tone+logic and confirmed by F-5 drivers. Hoping they fix it sometime.

  25. I think any improvement is welcome. Would purchase as an add-on. I would however prefer a more basic navigation system, like the INS described in the above-cited NAVAIR. Also, should the devs decide to invest time to expand the F-5 capabilities beyond the USAF F-5E-3, the air refueling probe, as described in the TO 1F-5E(I)-1 https://www.eflightmanuals.com/ITEM_EFM/SDETAIL_EFM.asp?mID=8997 would be nice. Also in there are the INS, recce nose and RATO. Would purchase as a new module.
